Chapter 245: Aliens
🕑 Added 2020-04-25 01:19:09 +0000 UTCFang Yun's sight hovered on the place above the dragon-kaiju in the sky. From the clouds above, a large number of creatures flew appeared.
All of these monsters look very similar to the dragon-kaiju.
However, their body shape is a little more compact, their color is also a bit different. Their scales have a bluish color, with many patterns and spots on it.
These monsters also look mostly like western dragons, with many different sizes. The smallest one is only about 30 meters long, which is much smaller than the dragon-kaiju
On the other hand, the bigger ones are almost 200 meters long, but their number is very small.
Fang Yun looked at those dragon-like monsters with wide eyes. Their number is in the hundreds, basically covering the sky. However, this wasn't what surprised him the most.
What really surprised him was the humanoid creatures standing on their backs.
"Na'vi from Avatar? No, they are different"
Fang Yun looked at these creatures with open mouth. These creatures are very similar to the Na'vi people from Avatar, but there are some differences.
The Na'vi people in the movie are tall, with tails, long hair, big eyes, and blue skin. However, although these creatures are tall, their skin is glass-black, a bit transparent.
In addition, they are different from the slender Na'vi. They are more like bodybuilders, with exaggerated muscles over their whole body. The strangest thing about them is that they have no ears or noses on their heads, only a single mouth, and two eyes.
Even their eyes are a bit strange. They have no sockets or pupils, just two big gem-like eyes, making them look like aliens in most movies.
The scariest part about them is their jagged shark-like teeth.
Fang Yun looked at these strange humanoid creatures. He felt that these creatures looked very much like "Venom", especially those teeth.
These humanoid creatures' mouth is wide open, exposing their long tongue. Some of them even wriggled it around in a creepy make, making people feel sick.
The sudden appearance of those venom-like creatures didn't shock just Fang Yun. The survivors in the base are even more shocked.
"Are those ... aliens?"
Luo Yong, Xiao Lan, and the rest of the people in the base looked at the humanoid creatures with shock and fear.
In the past few years, rumors about aliens have been very popular on the internet, saying that all of those kaiju and mutant monsters are due to aliens planning. However, as time passed, those rumors and theories have gradually disappeared. no alien has appeared after all.
The rumors died even more after the kaiju and mutant monsters disappeared.
Who would have thought that the aliens would truly appear, and in such a sudden and unexpected way?
Fang Yun remembers that "venom" is a liquid living body, coexisting with its host.
So, are these creatures the same or are they a complete living body?
While Fang Yun was thinking about this, the humanoid creatures in the sky shot a red laser from their eyes, sweeping all the people in the base below.
"Ahh!!"
Seeing that those aliens released a red laser towards them, thinking that they are attacking them, all the people in the base screamed in fear.
However, just a moment later, they discovered that those rays in fact don't have the slightest attacking power.
Fang Yun keenly sensed the electromagnetic waves released by those creatures. They should be communicating with each other.
Immediately afterward, the red laser swept over to him. Fang Yun didn't dodge. He looked curiously at those creatures, wondering what they are doing.
The next scene surprised Fang Yun.
After the red lasers swept over him, all the creatures flying over the base, including the dragon-kaiju and the rest of the dragon monsters and aliens, flew over to him.
In Fang Yun's somewhat bewildered sight, these creatures started attacking him.
The first one to attack is the dragon-kaiju. It swooped down towards Fang Yun, aiming its thick hind claws straight at Fang Yun, intending to capture him.
However, Fang Yun wasn't planning to get captured by the dragon-kaiju like a worm, so he immediately activated "Thunder Domain", wrapping himself with a coat of lightning. Without giving the dragon-kaiju a chance to react, he sent a bolt of lightning straight towards it.
"Wooo!!"
The dragon-kaiju screamed in pain. It flapped its wings, intending to escape. but Fang Yun won't give it the opportunity to do so. According to the system's prompt, this dragon-kaiju is worth 1 million bio-energy points. An unprecedented amount for a single creature.
He activated "Overclocking Resonance", aimed straight at the dragon-kaiju heart, then sent a piercing sound waves towards it.
The dragon-kaiju froze in the sky for a moment, then started twitching. This lasted for only a few seconds before it was able to regain its control, but this was enough for Fang Yun.
He launched one of the most powerful skills he possesses and the one with the longest range.
"Energy Beam"
A 3-meter thick laser beam spewed out of Fang Yun's mouth, instantly crossing a distance of more than 1 kilometer and falling right on the dragon-kaiju chest.
A large hole was blown on the dragon-kaiju chest, and a lot of blood was evaporated, creating thick blue smoke.
"WOO!!!"
The dragon-kaiju let out a high pitched howl, madly flapping its wings and escaping to the distance.
Fang Yun looked at the escaping dragon-kaiju with some regrets. That kaiju is already more than 5 kilometers away from him. Apart from the "energy beam", all his other skill can't reach that distance.
Unfortunately, "Energy Beam" is just level one, its destructive power is limited, it can't kill that kaiju with just one hit. The dragon-kaiju is also very smart, it's constantly circling in the sky, preventing him from locking it.
He is a little disappointed. If he could fly, he would definitely not let that 1 million bio-energy points escape.
After letting out a sigh of regret, Fang Yun's sight shifted to the other dragon monsters and aliens. After a second of confrontation, he suddenly started releasing energy beams, sniping those guys that are circling around him.
"Howl!!"
Suddenly, all of the aliens howled loudly. The moment, Fang Yun started releasing energy beams, they dispersed like a flock of birds, escaping in all directions.
He was barely able to snipe down a dozen before those guys escaped to the distance.
Fang Yun glanced at their backs, then slithered to the bodies of the dragon monsters that have been shot down by him.
"Gulp"
The survivors in the base watched as all of this unfolded with wide eyes. In this monsters battle, they aren't able to do anything. Even as spectators they have to worry about their lives.
Seeing that the giant serpent has easily won, they let out a sigh of relief.
"We're Saved"
Luo Yong and Yang Ping finally relaxed after the giant serpent drove the aliens away. Only Li Zhi kept staring in the direction where the aliens disappeared with a thoughtful look.
He has a feeling that the peace in the past few years is about to be broken, a new war is coming, and this time they are finally going to fight against the masterminds behind the invasion.
.........
While the people inside the base started relaxing, Fang Yun just finished eating the last dragon monster body. He glanced one last time at the people in the base, then turned around and slithered to the sea.
The aliens behind the invasion have finally appeared, but they appeared in a different way than he originally thought. It wasn't the alien fleet and sci-fi battleships he expected.
What puzzled Fang Yun is why those aliens ordered the dragon-kaiju to attack him, or rather capture him after analyzing him with the red laser.
He has a hunch that those aliens will definitely aim at him again in the future
