Chapter 240: The Roar of the Serpent
🕑 Added 2020-04-18 13:19:08 +0000 UTCThe Fang Yun's voice sounded, a light curtain appeared in front of him. After the bloodline evolution and normal evolution, no doubt, all his attributes have greatly increased.
Without taking skills into account, with just pure attributes, he can easily crush 3 of the pre-evolution him.
although he feels very happy, he is not as exhilarated as when he was just a finger size snake. Simple attributes aren't as important as before, it's the skills that matter.
With powerful skills, he can exert a combat power dozens of times higher than just that of pure attributes, so the most important thing for him right now is skill points.
Even the importance of size is less than that of skills. In fact, a large size would be great in space, but in this planet, a very large size would only slow him and make him a target.
Of course, if his defense is high enough to withstand nuclear bombs, it would be a different matter.
"It would be nice if I could change my body size at will."
Fang Yun couldn't help but fantasize. Unfortunately, he doesn't have this kind of ability. He can only drag his body that is over 300 meters, destroying everything in his way.
This bloodline evolution and normal evolution increased his size to 320 meters in length and 10 meters in diameter. Which is almost impossible to describe in words. Human beings are even smaller than mosquitos in front of him.
In addition, this time he got 56 skill points, which he immediately used.
Firstly, he upgraded "Overclocking resonance", maxing it out, then he upgraded the skill "Energy Beam" for the first time.
He stood upright in the middle of the jungle, towering over everything, his head almost reaching the clouds.
The entire island was presented in front of his eyes, he examined the entirety of the island, noticed many human buildings and structures.
"Humanity has established an activity area here."
After observing the entirety of the island, He came to this conclusion. He couldn't help but think.
"Did these guys establish a Jurassic Park on the island, then these dinosaurs rioted?"
Thinking of this, his mouth twitched a bit. He really wants to shout out:
"Holy crap, these guys are looking for death!"
Unfortunately, he is now a cool super snake that doesn't talk.
Speaking of this, after this bloodline evolution, his whole physical body has changed. A special organ has grown inside his throat, through it, he is able to make sounds. He can't use it to talk though.
Unlike the organ through which he can release "Overclocking Resonance", this organ is a bit similar to vocal cords. he can only use it to make noises, not for attacking.
He has never shouted, so he still doesn't know how his voice sound.
Thinking of this, he opened his mouth and howled.
"ROAR!!!!"
A deafening roar sounded from his mouth, spreading over dozens of kilometers, scaring countless birds and causing them to fly away.
Fang Yun was very satisfied with his voice. It's a bit like a T-Rex roar, but higher and much more majestic.
His domineering roar shocked countless creatures. Among which Li Zhi and the guys following him were almost scared to death.
Li Zhi was just a few hundreds of meters behind Fang Yun. His roar has frightened him to the extreme, causing his legs to soften, almost falling to the ground. Li Zhi and the rest looked at the behemoth ahead with fear-filled eyes.
This sudden roar almost scared them to death.
If this situation happens a few more times, he might probably get a heart attack.
"The giant serpent can make sounds that humans can hear?"
Li Zhi has seen an introduction about giant serpent on the internet before.
This monster can launch a sonic attack, but it's always infrasound or ultrasound.
Anyway, he hadn't seen any record indicating that the giant serpent can make such a roar.
While many of them were shivering out od fear, the giant serpent continued moving forward, causing them to feel relieved.
Fortunately, this monster roar wasn't targeted at them.
Fang Yun didn't care about Li Zhi and the others behind them. He is planning to wander on this island and eat some dinosaurs before going back to the ocean.
After going to the ocean, he is planning to visit the coasts of various countries and check the situation.
Humans are cloning kaiju.
He already knows about this, so his plan is to go to wander on the coasts and look for the kaiju breeding bases. This is the fastest way of gathering bio-energy he thinks of right now.
While continuing to slither forward, he began to consciously change the colors of his scales.
The previous color was too bright, not in line with his aesthetic. A white body and a red head made him feel like a chicken.
He changed his scales color to the previous obsidian black, which is much more domineering.
While slithering in the jungle, Fang Yun used ultrasonic waves to explore the surroundings, mainly to detect whether there are dinosaurs around.
For the next evolution, Fang Yun needs 120 million bio-energy points. Which will take who knows how many years in the current situation.
Not long after, Fang Yun finally reached the end of the jungle, after which there is a long grassland.
This grassland is surrounded by forest from the left, north and south. On the right, there is an electric fence and a cement road.
In this grassland, there are three giant dinosaurs eating grass.
"Huh? Diplodocus?"
Seeing the three giant creatures not far ahead, Fang Yun was a bit surprised. Of course, for him, they are just chicken-sized creatures. He's just happy to see that each of these dinosaurs can provide him with 60,000 bio-energy points, much more than the previous T-Rex.
After eating these three guys, he should get 180,000 bio-energy points.
These three diplodocuses just happened to see Fang Yun getting out of the forest. After a short confrontation, they immediately turned around to escape, but they were struck with the lightning from "Thunder Domain", instantly paralyzing them.
Fang Yun slithered towards the three dinosaurs and started eating them.
After swallowing the three diplodocuses, Fang Yun continued moving forward.
"Huff, huff"
About five minutes later, Li Zhi and the rest finally ran out of the jungle. They were all covering their chests and gasping heavily, looking very tired.
"The giant serpent is too fast."
After catching his breath, Luo Yong shouted loudly.
"We can't catch up with it!"
His throat was extremely dry. As for the rest of his companions, they were sitting on the ground like dead dogs.
The number of people in their team has decreased, with only 12 people left. The rest has been left behind.
"Riley, where does this road lead?"
Li Zhi turned his head and asked the driver of the tourist bus at the rear. After hearing his question, The driver walked to Li Zhi's side and started looking around.
After a moment, his eyes lit up.
"Not far from the left is the command center, there must be security personnel over there, let's go there!"
After saying this, without waiting for the rest to say anything, he ran in that direction.
Li Zhi glanced at the location from which the giant serpent left—the giant sunken road left behind is a clear lead to its direction. After hesitation for a moment, Li Zhi Gritted his teeth and followed the driver.
