Chapter 221: New Human Weapons
🕑 Added 2020-03-20 14:57:16 +0000 UTCThese people are undoubtedly the Blue Planet Panda country's people.
The indicator of their identities is their Panda country's face and the corresponding flag marks on their steel helmets and cap on their head.
That's without mentioning that their current location is Panda country's Donggang city.
Fang Yun's gaze swept this group of people. There are exactly 60 people. In addition to the military uniform below, their most striking feature is the metal exoskeleton they are wearing.
The metal arm connected to the exoskeleton was carrying a very strange firearm. Fang Yun hasn't seen this type of weapon before. This may be an original weapon of this planet or a new weapon developed after the appearance of the kaiju.
They also carried something similar to an oxygen cylinder on their backs, which should be a power source or a battery for that exoskeleton.
Exoskeleton equipment isn't actually a new technology. On the earth where Fang Yun was before, this technology was under intense research with the corresponding results.
However, the exoskeleton worn by these people is different. It's particularly flexible and natural, he is quite surprised by its sensitivity and responsiveness.
Moreover, it's very powerful.
The strange firearm that these people are carrying looks particularly heavy. Going by its size and material, it should weigh about 300 to 400 kilograms, but it was carried by them easily, just like carrying a small pistol.
The team quickly ran towards the high ground, without the slightest look of difficulty on their faces.
After reaching the high ground, they quickly dispersed, hiding behind ruins and bunkers. They either laid down on the ground or squatted, pointing their strange weapons towards the three kaiju ahead.
The three kaiju are actually quite far from them.
Fang Yun roughly checked. They are almost 10 km away from each other.
This group of people hid behind bunkers and waited silently. As if preparing to ambush the three Kaiju.
Fang Yun was dumbfounded.
Although these three Kaiju are just level 2 and 3 kaiju, they are still very powerful. They are as strong as the previous sea kings. Not to mention that they can emit energy rays and a deadly acid.
Their defense is also very high. only armor-piercing bullets from sniper rifles such a Barrett can penetrate their defenses. Ordinary rifles don't work at all.
However, since these people dare to ambush these kaiju, they probably have something to rely on.
Fang Yun looked at the heavy firearms in the hands of those people with a thoughtful look.
They are actually hiding very well, so he can't see them just using his sight.
However, he can construct their images in his mind through electromagnetic waves and sound waves, so it doesn't matter whether they are hiding or not.
The three kaiju were marching straight towards the human team. Their speed is quite slow, so the battle shouldn't start for a while.
Fang Yun stopped looking at them and turned to look the sci-fi plane again
On his previous planet, the largest plane was less than 100 meters long, but this one is way over 100 meters. It also has the ability to take off and land vertically.
This plane can be considered the most technologically advanced vehicle he has ever seen., much more advanced than the ones he saw before.
He examined it with a look of interest.
It should be something just recently developed. When he met those poachers in that mountain previously, he roughly examined the situation of this world using the mobile phone he got from them.
If this sci-fi plane was developed before, he should have seen its information on the internet at that time.
Of course, there is the possibility that this plane has been hidden from the public, hence he didn't see its information on the internet.
As he was watching the giant plane. Suddenly, a door on top of the plane opened, then a giant gun emerged from there.
They adjusted the angle of the barrel, pointing at the three kaiju that are constantly approaching them.
The strange gun mounted on the plane is quite large. It's conceivable how large the shells that can be loaded in it.
The soldiers waited quietly, waiting for the three kaiju to enter the attack range.
5 kilometers, 4 kilometers, 3 kilometers...
It's Now!
Fang Yun suddenly captured a strange electromagnetic wave coming from the plane.
This should be the order given by the people on the plane to the soldiers below.
He watched as the soldiers tightened their grip on the gun, then aimed at the three kaiju ahead that are already very noticeable.
"Bang!! Bang!! Bang!!"
The sound of gunfire suddenly sounded.
In the blink of an eye, the bullets landed on the three kaiju ahead.
Fang Yun paid close attention to the situation of this battle. He wants to see what gives these people the confidence to attack these kaiju.
He noticed that the bullets immediately exploded when they hit the Kaiju, releasing a special energy shock wave.
Furthermore, at the moment when the bullet exploded, it released extremely high temperatures, even melting those kaiju's flesh.
Of course, these are the effects bought by countless bullets landing on the three kaiju. The effect of a single bullet is too small for Fang Yun to detect.
"Woo!"
The three Kaiju howled in pain after experiencing this sudden attack. It looks like these bullets have caused them a great deal of damage. However, kaiju aren't some sort of peaceful creature, their howls are filled with savagery and madness.
The next moment, they started their counterattack.
The three Kaiju released laser beams in the direction of the attack.
Only one laser beam hit the area where the soldiers were hiding in, which quickly became magma, and the surrounding 50 meters was turned into black charcoal.
This destructive power is terrifying. In just the two or three seconds that the laser beam lasted, such damage was caused.
Furthermore, this just a laser beam released by level 2 and 3 kaiju. It can be imagined how destructive is the beam released by level 5 kaiju.
Fang Yun noticed that a soldier was hiding in that area, but was instantly reduced into black ash under the destructive power of the laser beam.
Fortunately, the sixty soldiers are scattered, it's very difficult for the kaiju to kill them all in one time.
If it was Fang Yun who was fighting against these soldiers. Even if they are more than a kilometer from each other, all he has to do is to activate "Shadow Wind" to instantly get between them, then launch "Thunder Domain" to vaporize them.
Of course, those kaiju aren't so fast. Furthermore, they don't have a field of attack that large.
"By the way, these people don't seem to react much to those Kaiju's howl."
Fang Yun couldn't help but wonder. The howl of the kaiju is very similar to his "Overclocking Resonance" when he first got it. It's a sonic attack that causes intense headaches, dizziness, and pain to most living creatures.
Although there is still quite a long distance between them. The kaiju's howl is still enough to cause major pain to humans.
However, after closely looking at them, Fang Yun's face was filled with a look of realization. There is an instrument covering the ears of those soldiers.
These guys are very prepared.
The soldiers hidden behind the bunkers kept attacking the kaiju not far away. Mainly the two walking ones.
The heavy gun in their hands is very effective. There is a large wound in the belly of one of the two walking kaiju.
If things continue like this, this Kaiju's chest may be shot through, and its internal organs are likely to be shot through.
"Boom!"
Suddenly, Fang Yun heard the sound of an explosion. Right in the place where the 60 soldiers hid.
When he used electromagnetic waves to investigate that place. He found that one person has become a black ash directly, but no laser beam has approached his place.
"It seems that the strange weapon in his hand exploded."
Fang Yun pondered for a moment, then decided to observe the situation of those people, he has to make sure.
Sure enough, after about 10 seconds, another firearm exploded.
