Chapter 220: Sudden Encounter
🕑 Added 2020-03-19 12:40:03 +0000 UTCIt's already obvious that this world's native animals are mutating.
In the past, only wild animals such as lions, tigers, bears, snakes, etc... could threaten humans, but now even a random insect has the ability to tear humans into pieces.
After mutation, some animals grew bigger and fiercer. They evolved into some fierce and grotesque creatures, people can't even discern their original species.
Some animals evolved into their prehistoric ancestors or cousins.
For example, some tigers have become saber-toothed tigers, which have the same ancestor as modern tigers but belong to different branches.
Quite a few tigers have evolved into the extinct saber-toothed tiger.
Other than tigers, quite a few animals evolved their ancestors, bringing many ancient or extinct animals back into the modern world, such as mammoths.
These huge animals with huge fangs and thick hair once lived on this land with the humans of the primitive age. Now, they have appeared back on earth again, living back in these messy and confusing times.
Although the large animals such as mammoths look quite intimidating, their threat to humans is actually very limited, especially when they got used to those hill sized monster with the ability to destroy entire cities.
Compared to them, creatures such as mammoths are actually very cute.
The true dangerous things are the mutated insect. Their danger far surpasses that of large animals.
For example, dragonflies with the wingspans of one meter. They often fly through the air in very large teams, causing the public to panic.
There are also giant centipedes.
The previous largest centipede is more than 40 centimeters, which is already quite scary.
This creature look is very scary, with many legs and a grotesque shape, coupled with its large shape and sometimes even a dangerous venom, it's very frightening.
However, they are nothing compared to their mutated counterpart. These giant centipedes evolved into their prehistoric counterpart which is over 3 meters long.
Even if an adult man sees them, he will likely be frightened to death, and even if he doesn't, he won't escape the fate of getting devoured.
Fang Yun finally knew about the mutation of the animal on Blue Star.
He climbed on the shore of a forest, ready to catch a few terrestrial animals to change his pallet. However, when he swam past a swamp, he discovered a giant python more than 15 meters long living there.
"Why is this python so big?"
Looking at the shivering python ahead, Fang Yun was shocked, isn't this the Titanoboa? What the hell?
"Wooo!!!"
Suddenly, with a loud roar, a huge elephant appeared from the side. It was 5 meters high and 8 meters long, with thick hair and giant tusks.
"Isn't this a mammoth?"
He naturally knows what a mammoth looks like, he was a human previously. However, he was shocked by the sudden emergence of a creature that should have long been extinct. Deja vu?
The mammoth that suddenly appeared trembled in fear when he saw Fang Yun.
It immediately turned around, then rushed back into the jungle. Seeing this, Fang Yun woke up from the shock, twisted his body, then dived down and bit the mammoth.
The giant mammoth struggled madly in Fang Yun's mouth, roaring loudly.
Fang Yun wasn't impressed, he strengthened his bite a bit, breaking the bones of the mammoth and killing it. After that, he didn't hesitate to swallow it.
He currently has a diameter of 6.5 meters, even higher than two floors. Although this giant mammoth is a giant compared to humans, in front of him, it's just a small snack.
After swallowing the mammoth, Fang Yun slithered into the swam, then swallowed the famous Titanoboa.
To the current him, even a legendary creature like Titanoboa is not different from a worm.
If there are no mutant creatures on this planet, and the kaiju haven't appeared. A 15-meters long python like the Titanoboa can be considered a king-level existence.
"People on this planet are really pitiful."
Fang Yun shook his house-sized head. He suddenly remembered all the people he had encountered before. Most of them have probably died.
Fang Yun didn't leave the forest immediately. He plans to continue exploring what's inside. He's invincible in this place anyway, so there should be no danger.
His huge body crushed the tree on his way. The ground was sunken, trees were broken and countless animals were scared. He left behind him a huge trail behind, telling the story about the mythical monster passing by here.
Along the way, Fang Yun saw countless weird creatures.
Some creatures are obviously the creatures that have roamed the earth in ancient times, others were some strange alien-like creatures.
Fang Yun caught two of these alien-like creatures and ate the, then was surprised to discover that they actually provided him with a lot of bio-energy.
For example, an alien-like creature, just a meter long provided him with tens of thousands of bio-energy, much more than the giants of the last age such as sperm whales and giant squids.
After wandering around for a while in this forest, Fang Yun returned to the sea, then took the giant turtle patrolling the nearby waters and headed towards the north.
Near Donggang City, he encountered 3 kaiju, which provided him with a total of 500,000 bio-energy points.
The three Kaiju were quite far away from him, but he easily found them using sound waves detection.
"Hmm... this should be today's lunch"
Fang Yun looked at the three Kaiju not far ahead. Two of these Kaiju looks very similar to dinosaurs. The last one looks like a bee.
The huge bee-like kaiju has two huge forceps that can be closed at will. In addition, its limbs are thick and sharp, capable of tearing steal apart like tofu.
Earlier, Fang Yun saw that kaiju split a huge unmanned ship with a wave of its arms.
Just as he was about to attack these three kaiju, he suddenly felt something, then looked at a distant ruin.
He noticed an aircraft flying here from that direction.
Although it's far away, Fang Yun still saw it clearly.
With his current eyesight, as long as there is no hindrance, he can clearly see the expression of a human over a dozen kilometers away.
This is a very large fixed-wing aircraft, at least 150 meters long. The cabin as a whole is like an airship, but it has a more sci-fi vibe, looking quite technologically advanced.
Duck-wing-shaped fixed wings extend from the head to the rear, the end of the wings is bent upwards to form a winglet structure.
There are also two huge engines on both of the fixed wings, and besides these two large engines are two slightly smaller ones.
The whole warship was painted in a silver metallic luser, making it look really cool.
The giant plane slowly approached the ground, intending to dock in a clearing not far from Fang Yun.
He watched as the small engine next to the large one slowly rotated, pointing at the ground. After that, with the sound of an engine roaring, a blue flame carried a huge airstream Gushed out from the nozzle, creating a recoil, allowing the airship-like plane to slowly land.
"Boom!"
The huge plane steadily landed, causing the ground around it to tremble.
"Huh?"
Looking at this scene, Fang Yun was very surprised.
"Has this planet technology already reached this level?"
This plane looks very sci-fi, basically only seen in movies before, but now it has already been created in reality.
Suddenly, the rear hatch of this giant plane opened, followed by a staircase extending from the inside. A strangely dressed team slowly walked down from that staircase in order.
