Chapter 209: Another Discovery
🕑 Added 2020-03-06 18:56:49 +0000 UTCYears later, Raleigh still felt thrilled when he remembers that scene. He was on the verge of death, but something unexpected happened.
At that time, he didn't feel any fear, but his heart still beat fiercely.
"Boom!"
It was just like the divine sound of salvation. The kaiju was knocked fiercely into the ground, then it was entangled and bitten by the giant serpent.
"I think if I were a woman, I might have fallen in love at that moment."
In the face of the microphone handed by the reporter, Raleigh jokingly described his psychology when he saw the giant serpent.
On the ruins of a building, two giant monsters were twisting together. However, the Kaiju was obviously at a disadvantage as it was wrapped around by the giant serpent.
This kaiju isn't very strong.
This was his instinctual feeling at the first sight of this kaiju. He seemed to be able to detect the special energy emitted by the kaiju, a bit like human instruments.
"It's around the level of the one I hunted in Hualien city, probably weaker"
Fang Yun thought internally. He contracted more around the kaiju, wrapping around it even harder.
"Crack, Crack!"
The bones of the crocodile-like kaiju began to crack. Blue blood also started to seep from its mouth.
When they saw the blue blood falling to the ground, the faces of Raleigh and the rest of the team suddenly changed. Fortunately, the blood didn't react with the surrounding air and became a toxic smoke as the level 5 kaiju does.
Fang Yun didn't manage the team of the Royal Academy of Biological Science. After killing the Kaiju, he swallowed it directly.
This crocodile-kaiju provided him with 380,000 bio-energy points.
His current bio-energy is about 1.84 million points, but he needs 8 million points for the next evolution.
Even if he hadn't finished his evolution yet, he is still able to see the required points for the next evolution.
"There are more and more kaiju in the sea, plus the turtle can attract many ancient and mutant creatures, so gathering bio-energy isn't that difficult right now."
After devouring the kaiju, Fang Yun started wandering around, thinking about his next evolution.
"In short, I don't have to worry about bio-energy for the time being."
Fang Yun thought of a scene that might happen in the future. He just finished his evolution and his body returned to his peak state, then he immediately started the next evolution, and returned to the lethargic state.
"That scene would be truly..."
Standing in the same place, Raleigh and the rest of his team were looking at the giant serpent no far away. Seeing that the giant serpent has won, they let out a sigh of relief. The fact that they were on the verge of being eaten caused their limbs to soften.
However, the feeling of escaping from disaster made them feel very relaxed. Their faces, under the protective clothing, was full of smiles.
They decided to leave this place quickly and report their discovery to their leaders.
On the other side, Fang Yun didn't plan on leaving this ruin just yet, there is a lot of food right here.
For example, he has just found another kaiju body.
To be precise, it's just a leg. However, according to the system's prompt, just this leg can provide him with 50,000 bio-energy points.
He slithered towards the giant leg and carefully examined it. He guessed that with such a huge leg, its ower has to be over 200 meters height.
He has been wondering before if those giant kaiju have appeared or not. It seems now that they have really appeared.
"I wonder if that mountain-sized spider has come out or not. It should be the mother of all kaiju. It's just unknown whether it can fight or not."
Fang Yun couldn't help but remember the giant monster he saw in the space channel.
That kaiju was bigger than the largest mountain in the world. There were many umbilical cords extending from its belly, on the other side of the umbilical cords were a large number of embryos, and if his guess is correct, kaiju should be in those embryos.
After groaning, he stopped thinking about it. Fang Yun approached the leg in front of it, then bit it. He felt that this kaiju leg is very tough. Only after exerting all his strength was he able to tear it apart.
Such a discovery made his heart sink.
From the kaiju he previously hunted, he came to the conclusion that a kaiju muscles became very loose and much softer after their death.
He is already struggling to tear apart some piece off the leg of this kaiju after death, which means that when it was alive, he wouldn't even be able to injure it.
This level of kaiju is still a huge threat to him. In addition to their huge muscle strength and toughness, they also have some unique special abilities.
"This level of kaiju is still difficult to deal with for now. I should avoid clashing with them."
After swallowing the kaiju leg, Fang Yun made up his mind.
This incident was a bit unexpected for Fang Yun. Kaiju of these levels shouldn't have come out at this time. With their addition, the ocean isn't completely safe for him as before.
Fang Yun took a deep breath and decided to quicken the pace of his evolution even further.
He wandering in those ruins for about half a month before returning to the ocean.
On the day he returned to the sea, Raleigh and the other team members reported their discoveries in Plymouth to the higher-ups of their country and other major countries
This kind of thing can't be hidden, mostly because their country isn't a military superpower. They must convey their findings to the major superpowers and let them find a way to deal with the problem.
"So Mr. Raleigh, you encountered a kaiju in Plymouth and happened to be rescued by the giant serpent?"
In the meeting, Raleigh showed the videos they took to the representatives of all countries. Suddenly, a female representative of the 'Bald Eagle' country stood up and asked him.
"I don't consider this a major discovery."
"Ma'am, please watch carefully."
Raleigh glanced at the representative of the 'Bald Eagle' country, then pulled the progress bar back to the moment when they encountered the crocodile-shaped kaiju.
They watched as the crocodile-kaiju suddenly raised its head, opened its mouth, then sucked something.
"When we reached that place, the concentration of radiation was particularly high. However, after the kaiju sucked the air."
Raleigh pointed the rubber stick in his hand to the image of an instrument on the screen.
"The radiation detected on the instruments has reduced sharply."
After hearing his words, the people in the conference room all started whispering.
