Chapter 206: Full Kaiju Outbreak
🕑 Added 2020-03-03 20:21:08 +0000 UTCThe people on the whaling ship were observing the Giant Turtle not far away with binoculars. To be precise, they were watching the giant serpent on it.
The scales on its body were cracked. Some scales even almost fell off.
"The giant serpent is molting."
This is the guess of the people on the haling ship. They felt that the giant serpent looked quite vulnerable.
They watched as the giant serpent and the giant turtle disappeared into the distance, without any intention to attack them.
There is a lot of proof that the giant serpent doesn't attack humans. Furthermore, it's currently very weak.
However, they still don't dare attack it. They still reported the whereabouts of the giant serpent and giant turtles to their national oceanic administration though.
Fang Yun thought that the humans on the whaling ships might attack him. He knows the greed of humans, especially now that he is in a weak state.
Fortunately, they didn't attack him in the end.
The 'Moose country' Ocean Board received the report about the giant serpent and turtle not long after.
They immediately sent a police ship to patrol that area. However, they didn't see their shadows.
By that time, Fang Yun and the giant turtle have long since disappeared.
In fact, ever since the emergence of the kaiju. Scientists interset in the five sea kings have greatly diminished. Even if they have some secret, they don't really care about them anymore.
The kaiju have way more potential and attractiveness in their view.
After all, the "Life Elixir" produced by the giant turtle is only theoretical. Even after months of research, they were only able to produce skincare products.
Some Kaiju even have the same substance secreted by the giant turtle, which can be used to produce the same skincare product, and even theoretically the "Life Elixir"
Their regenerative ability can be described as horrific. It has greatly piqued the interest of humans, some scientist even thinks that it may be the key to human evolution.
It's almost like a cut-down version of Fang Yun's regeneration ability. Humans don't know that though.
The speed of the giant turtle is particularly slow, probably around 10 knots.
The giant turtle itself likes to swim at this speed.
Fang Yun also doesn't hate it. Anyway, he feels really powerless right now, barely able to move. It's just that when he feels hungry, he still forces himself to move and catch some fish.
They are currently heading towards the Atlantic ocean with no definite destination.
Fang Yun is confident in his abilities. He thinks that it doesn't matter where he goes, there isn't a creature that he can't solve.
If he knew what happened in the grass ocean and the emergence of the mega kaiju though, he wouldn't think so.
Three months have passed since the day when the nuclear bomb exploded in the grass sea. During this time, the satellites of major countries still closely monitored that area.
At first, everything was fine, but on a certain day, countries around the world discovered something wrong in that area.
In a video captured by a satellite, many kaiju suddenly emerged from underwater, then swam in a lot of directions. That clip has caused a large shock among the higher-ups of the major countries.
"Wasn't the space channel destroyed, why are so many kaiju appearing from that place again?"
The senior officials of the countries who have received the news were stunned. The number of Kaiju beasts that appeared this time has caused them to feel fear for the first time.
Judging from the clip alone, there are no less than two hundred kaiju swimming out of the Grass sea, and that's just the ones they found. There are probably many more hidden underwater.
"S-Class Alert! S-Class Alert!"
The east seaport of the 'Panda country' has entered the highest level of alert status. According to the satellite's images, a group of kaiju is coming.
When the Kaiju disaster began to truly erupt, many people began to evacuate, but even so, there are still a lot of people left behind.
It's unrealistic to relocate everyone in the city. There are many other coastal cities.
Furthermore, they can't just relocate the people in just one coastal city. They have to do so for every coastal city or that will cause riots, an such a huge population would be extremely difficult to resettle.
Unfortunately, the governement doesn't have any choice but to relocate the people in Donggang city. Over 10 kaiju are heading towards it.
There is also a mega kaiju among them. Or more specifically, a level 5 kaiju.
In an attempt to detect the kaiju in advance, the major countries have created a device that can record a special energy wave released by them.
A level 5 kaiju is the strongest one that has ever appeared, also known as a mega kaiju. Each one has the ability to destroy a city, and the only way to effectively kill them currently is a nuclear bomb.
Of all the kaiju that have appeared previously. The only level 5 kaiju was the one that destroyed San Fransisco of the 'Bald Eagle' country.
However, at present, Donggang City is also facing the threat of kaiju of that level.
Fortunately, the 'Panda country' has discovered these kaiju in advance, so they began to migrate the people in Donggang city.
After all, that's a horrifying monster that can only be killed by a nuclear bomb.
Of course, although the governement is trying their best, only a small part of the population of Donggang city has been evacuated. It's an international city with almost 10 million residents after all.
They have to delay these kaiju as much as possible, gaining time for the population to evacuate.
Deep into the night, a level 5 kaiju, code-named "Diablo", led another 13 kaiju to the coast of Donggang City.
When the military has discovered their exact location, these kaiju have almost reached the coast.
The moment the kaiju landed on the beach, they were greeted with a wave of missiles bombardment.
The level 5 Kaiju, code-named "Diablo", has a huge head, quite similar to that of a sperm whale.
Many missiles landed straight on that, but they caused very limited damage.
If an armor-piercing projectile can penetrate its body, then explode, it might cause huge damage to it. Unfortunately, even an armor-piercing projectile can't penetrate its defense.
These missiles still caused a lot of trouble for it. "Diablo" growled loudly, twisting its body, it opened its mouth and released an electromagnetic pulse.
The electromagnetic pulse quickly spread to the surrounding area, making those guided-missiles like headless flies, randomly shooting in all directions.
After the initial missile bombardment, 7 kaiju survived. They roared loudly, then rushed towards Donggang city.
Fortunately, after delaying these kaiju for a day, almost all the people in Donggang city have been evacuated.
The higher-ups of the country didn't hesitate to launch a nuclear bomb there, exterminating all the kaiju.
Donggang City suffered a particularly heavy loss this time. The entire city was almost in ruins. The only good news is that all the kaiju, including "Diablo", were completely exterminated.
Soon after Donggang City was hit by the kaiju group, several other coastal cities in 'Panda country' and the rest of the world's countries were attacked by a large number of kaiju.
