Chapter 228: Conflict Between Countries
🕑 Added 2020-03-30 21:16:31 +0000 UTCLi Zhi looked at the scene on the screen. He knows a bit about the 'Sakura country' language. All thanks to the 'Sakura country' anime. Due to all the animation he watched, he was able to pick up a bit of their language.
Looking at them, it seems that they don't care about their actions. They seem to be unaware that their move is a provocation to 'Panda country'
"Kappa is now in a stable physical condition, so is his pilot."
The hostess said to the camera with a smile while standing in a special room in the mothership.
In the computer screen, Li Zhi saw that a woman in a special uniform was lying in a glass compartment, with an instrument on her head, and various cables connected to that instrument.
Next to it, there is an instrument similar to an electrocardiogram. A line on the top is moving from the left to the right in a zigzag manner. The line moved stably.
Li Zhi recognized this woman, she's Akiko Kikuchi, the pilot, and controller of the kaiju "Kappa". She had been heavily promoted by 'Sakura country' before, making her popularity skyrocket.
While Li Zhi was looking at this woman, the camera suddenly switched back to the deck of the mothership, then suddenly turned around.
At this time, the flag that appeared on the screen caused Li Zhi heart to jump.
Three planes flew over Kappa, then circled around the mothership, seemingly warning them to halt their steps.
"It's our military plane."
Li Zhi blinked a few times in surprise, making sure that he didn't see the wrong things.
In the footage, three fighter jet skimmed over the sky. The sound of roaring engines and the air breaking filled the sky.
Even Li Zhi did not expect that their military planes would actually take the initiative to intercept the people of 'Sakura country'
Of course, they just intercepted them. After all, they just approached their territorial water. If they truly entered their territorial waters, things will be different.
This sudden situation caused the people watching the live broadcast to boil. In international forums, comments about this event were everywhere.
Originally, this was just an ordinary training activity, but from the look of the situation, things are getting big.
However, everyone was very puzzled. Why is 'Sakura country' provoking 'Panda country' so much? Even if they have the mothership and the controllable cloned kaiju, 'Panda country' isn't so easy to mess with.
Even if the mothership has a particularly strong defense system, the ammunition it carries won't last always, the same goes for the fuels. Once those end, the mothership will become a live target or fall.
The kaiju need not be mentioned, they dealt with it for so long. They have developed quite a few plans to deal with them. Furthermore, it's just a level 4 kaiju, they don't even need a nuclear bomb to deal with it.
Although they don't understand the island country's intentions, it didn't prevent everyone from watching the live broadcast.
There are more and more people watching this live broadcast. 'Sakura country', the 'Bald Eagle', and 'Panda country' have the most people. Later, the 'Polar Bear' country and many other European countries. Many people from these countries watched the live broadcast.
Even people from African and Australia watched the broadcast, but they had the fewest people.
"Sir, 'Panda country' asked us to change course immediately."
In the command room, a young soldier with headphones on his head suddenly turned his around, took off the headphones and said to the middle-aged man next to him.
The middle-aged man, called Nobuo Watanabe, is the captain of this mothership. At this moment, after hearing the soldier's report, his face remained the same, he has expected this long ago.
"Keep moving forward."
He ordered the soldier, then after thinking, he added.
"Give "Kappa" these instructions: get up and prepare for defense, also, keep moving forward."
The young soldier hesitated a bit, but still conveyed these instructions to Akiko as instructed.
At this time, the reporters on the mothership started panicking. Obviously, they really did not expect that their actions would incite 'Panda country' to send fighters.
Moreover, they noticed that "Kappa", who was casually swimming before, suddenly stood upright, then used the ability of the kaiju to run on water.
This sudden situation caused these reporters to panic even more. They just came here to broadcast this training event, they didn't expect that they would have a conflict with 'Panda country'
Just when these reporters were collapsing internally, they also found that the speed of the mothership slightly slowed down. All the people on the deck were asked to enter the room.
A group of journalists woke up from the shock, then started talking to each other.
For the second time, the three fighters from 'Panda country' once again flew over and circled around the mothership. The deafening sound left behind almost caused the reporters' eardrums to burst.
"Sir, 'Panda country' ordered us again to change course immediately, or they might launch an attack."
In the command room, the young soldier said to Nobita Watanabe behind him.
He really think that provoking 'Panda country' so blatantly isn't a good idea. He thinks that this is a really stupid behavior, they are only putting themselves in danger, but what can he do? He is just a soldier.
Hearing that, Watanabe hesitated.
They came here to execute a mission. According to the news from the 'Bald Eagles', 'Panda country' has developed a new type of aircraft. They came here to see if they could force them to use it.
Of course, this is just one of their goals.
After the disaster, 'Panda country's control of the nearby small countries has increased a lot. This caused the 'Bald Eagle' country to feel displeased, so they asked 'Sakura country' to execute this act. This is to remind the nearby small countries that they don't have to feel pressured by 'Panda country'.
At the same time, they are hitting 'Panda country', testing its reaction and seeing if they have any new weapons.
Not a lot of people know this, but this training event is carefully drafted scheme against 'Panda country', and 'Sakura country' is just a pawn.
The things they gave to 'Sakura country' might seem advanced, but they have much better things at home.
"Enable the defense system."
After a long silence, Watanabe said to the young soldier next to him.
"Let the Kappa attack."
"Tell 'Panda country' that we are operating in international water, they have no right to interfere in our actions."
After saying this, he paced in the command room. Obviously, making this decision is also a lot of pressure for him.
The young soldier took a deep breath, then issued these instructions, as Watanabe said.
Along with a mechanical sound, the hatches in some parts of the entire mothership opened, exposing a gun barrel inside. On the deck, some hatches opened, exposing a missile launch manhole.
The cameras around captured the entire scene on the deck, showing this sci-fi scenes to everyone who was watching the live broadcast. Many people were shocked by the advanced technology of the mothership, and many tech fans looked at this scene with twinkling eyes.
On the other hand, many people were worried about the situation on the live broadcast, especially the residents of these two countries.
Will there be a conflict between 'Sakura country' and 'Panda country' today?
"Kappa seems to be ready to attack."
A blue light suddenly appeared on the Kappa's body. This is how Kaiju gather energy to attack;
Suddenly, the three fighters continuously circling over the air carrier suddenly flew away. This scene astonished the people watching the live broadcast.
'Panda country' has taken the initiative to retreat.
"Hahaha, this power of our kaiju is unrivaled, it has really scared off 'Panda country'"
This is a statement from a 'Sakura country' citizen.
"'Panda country' actually retreated? Is that Kaiju's deterrent so great?"
"Holy cow! running away after saying a few threatening words? this is too timid!"
This is a statement made by 'Panda country' citizens. They are clearly dissatisfied with the withdrawal of the three military fighters.
What they didn't know was that in a certain airport, three sci-fi-like airplanes started hovering, then took off in a certain direction.
"Boom!"
The three planes quickly surpassed the speed of sound, then disappeared in the boundless sky.
In his room, Li Zhi looked at various speeches on the International Forum, and felt embarrassed, especially when he read the smug and resentful comments of 'Sakura country' and 'Panda country' people.
He was also dissatisfied at first, but after thinking for a while, he came to a realization.
He is very clear about how the government usually act, they definitely didn't take that provocation and shut up. In this monster disaster that lasted for almost ten years, 'Panda country' performance was one of the best.
The country leadership definitely has some sort of plan.
"But ... it's really upsetting."
Li Zhi sighed bitterly. Suddenly, a loud sound sounded from the speakers. A surprising scene appeared on the screen.
Comments
Yep, still there.
I Dewa Bagus
