Chapter 226: Inflated
🕑 Added 2020-03-27 21:29:13 +0000 UTCAlthough they intend to sell the cloned kaiju, the 'Bald Eagle' isn't intending to do so for the moment. They have rejected their allies' requests on the pretext that this technology still needs to be perfected.
Time passes quickly. In the current age, with each passing day, some earthshaking change happens, whether it's in technology, life or even to the civilization as a whole.
A year has passed since the practical battle between King Kong and 'poison arrow'.
Until now, Kaiju have almost completely disappeared from the ocean, and even mutant and ancient creatures became very rare. Only the land mutants still raging in the world.
The biggest problems facing humanity today are land mutant creatures and energy.
Especially the latter, it's driving the leaders of each country to madness.
The various energy resources on the planet are being quickly consumed by these insects, Furthermore, the metals such as silver, gold, iron, etc... are currently in shortage due to these insects.
These metals are indispensable to human beings right now. If things keep going this way, then a large part of human society is going to collapse.
Don't mention technology advances, they might even regress.
While the Blue Planet humans are having headaches, Fang Yun is also having a headache.
There is fewer and fewer prey in the ocean, he can't gather enough bio-energy to evolve. Furthermore, wanting to rely on ordinary creatures to gather dozens of millions of bio-energy points is tantamount to idiot and dreams.
For example, in the past year, he wasn't able to gather enough bio-energy to evolve. He still needs to gather 5 million points to evolve.
Two or three years ago, this number would have been easy to complete. just a few level 5 kaiju would have been enough.
However, now, only the blue planet native creatures remain in the ocean. Maybe some rare ancient creatures. These creatures can provide him with a very limited amount of bio-energy, far from being able to fulfill his requirements.
Amidst all this bad news, there is a good one. His reputation is about to reach 10 billion. Although he doesn't know if he will receive skill points or not, it's worth looking forward to.
According to the requirements of the system. Once he reaches 10 billion reputation points, he will receive a new bloodline.
(TL: I made a mistake previously, he didn't receive a bloodline at 1 billion points. He will receive the bloodline in the next few chapters at 10 billion points, Sorry.)
"It would be nice if I get the ability to fly this time. It might not take long for me o leave this planet and travel in the universe."
Fang Yun was looking forward to that.
Like the legendary eastern dragons, they can fly across the sky and travel above the clouds, or like western ones, with giant wings covering the sky and the ability to shake the mountains with a flap of their wings.
He doesn't know which of these two types of flight capabilities he will get, or even if will get one of them. Anyway, he can only hope for the future.
Fang Yun leisurely swam on the sea surface. He is now in the area of Hualien, where marine life is relatively rich.
Right now, his body length is about 230 meters and his diameter is about 8 meters. Apart from the ridiculous mountain-spider, he is already the biggest creature he ever saw.
Now that the fishermen came back to the sea, they were once again very scared at the sight of Fang Yun, but after seeing him more and more frequently, they will only bow to him, expressing their respect. They aren't scared after seeing him like before.
Speaking of that, in the current ocean, the only creature that can be called a sea monster is the giant serpent.
According to the discovery of the world's major countries, the Kaiju and mutated/ancient creatures all returned to the grass sea. Strangely, the giant serpent didn't follow them back there.
Unexpectedly, some countries became very inflated, thinking about capturing the giant serpent.
Of course, this idea is just in the conceptional stage. They know that with the power and intelligence of the giant serpent, as long as they don't kill it or capture it in one shot, they would suffer from its crazy retaliation.
During this period of time, humanity's situation barely calmed down. In addition to how the terrestrial mutated organisms still causing trouble, most of the daily news is about the development and reconstruction of coastal cities.
Occasionally, some newspapers will write about the actions and whereabouts of the giant serpent or the mystery of the grass sea.
However, on this day, there was finally some big news.
The 'Bald Eagles' sold a cloned kaiju to 'Sakura country', along with it is a mothership.
At the press conference, Sakura country's representative looked very excited. After all, they have just bought a giant kaiju, a superweapon that only nuclear weapons can deal with.
Furthermore, this creature can grow by swallowing nuclear radiation. Not only is it a super-effective radiation cleaner, but it can also grow to an unknown high in the future.
Maybe someday, this kaiju will grow to point of not being afraid of nuclear weapons.
According to the representative proclamation, this Kaiju will be called "Kappa", a famous monster in Japanese folklore, which basically means the messenger of the water god.
Of course, 'Panda country' also has folklore about monsters like "Kappa".
Many 'Sakura country' people were disappointed. They think that that kaiju should be named Godzilla. Its appearance is indeed very similar to that of Godzilla.
'Panda country' was extremely dissatisfied with the Bald eagle's move to sell the cloned Kaiju and the mothership to 'Sakura country' After all, both are big killers.
In fact, it's not an understatement to call them nuclear-level weapons. It's almost the same as selling nuclear bombs to them in the previous era.
In international forums, 'Panda country' citizens frequently cursed and scolded the 'Bald Eagle' for their move, but the 'Bald Eagle' people didn't really care about them. On the other hand, it was 'Sakura country' people who jumped up on the internet and responded to them.
Their general reply is that 'Panda country' must feel jealous and sour at the fact that they obtained these weapons, and that after getting these weapons it won't be difficult for their country to suppress Panda country in the future.
After receiving such a reply, 'Panda country' citizens were furious, they scolded them even more rigorously.
Although 'Panda country' citizens tried not to show it, in fact, they are extremely sore and jealous. Most of them consider having a guardian monster and a mothership extremely cool.
They really don't think that the 'Bald Eagle' country will kindly sell them these things.
"Fuck, the Bald Eagle is really something else, I'm afraid that those bastards will act arrogantly in front of us again."
"The bald eagle is really generous, selling a level 4 kaiju.."
"The bald eagle must possess many of those kaiju, otherwise it wouldn't sell a level 4 one. They might even have a level 5. We might be in trouble."
The bald eagle government sold to 'Sakura country' a level 4 kaiju. According to their selection, the controller of this Kaiju is called Kikuchi Ayako, a female soldier with excellent physical fitness.
The otaku population of 'Sakura country' was very excited. According to the disclosed photos, this female soldier named Akiko Kikuchi is very beautiful, with short hair, refined temperament, and a cold face. The typical iceberg beauty.
A lot of people love this type of women due to their cold and sadistic nature. Especially for M guys.
About one month later, 'Sakura country' announced that Jukuchi Ayako was able to successfully connect with the kaiju "Kappa". They announced that they will hold a training event three days later.
The so-called training event is to let Akiko Kikuchi control the kaiju to walk around. There are no kaiju for "Kappa" to fight against, and even if there are, they don't dare to let "Kappa" fight against them.
"Kappa" is the only kaiju they own, they don't dare to bet on its safety against kaiju.
As for the giant serpent? that would be sending food.
On this day, 'Sakura country' hosted a worldwide live broadcast. They will track the entirety of Kappa's journey.

I see, thanks for reminding me. You see, I have no proofreader, so I might overlook some wrong sentences, grammar, syntax, etc... It’s really helpful when someone quickly point out a mistake in the translation. Anyway, thanks a lot, I’ll try fixing it.

I understand that this is a translation, but I would nonetheless be more careful with how you deal with sentences that could be considered sexist. It might just be my slight feminist bias, I’ll admit, but “ However, isn't this the style that men love the most? This type of women greatly arouses men's desire for conquest.” Definetly sounds a bit... ehh?
