Chapter 223: Sky Mothership
🕑 Added 2020-03-23 18:07:59 +0000 UTCThe people on the giant plane watched with an open mouth as the giant serpent slithered towards the kaiju they killed. For a while, they didn't know what to do.
They did find the existence of the giant serpent before, but they didn't think that it would snatch the kaiju they have killed.
It seems that they are wrong.
A Kaiju's body is very valuable, even if they have already many of them in their laboratories, and they still have many clones, a relatively complete kaiju body like those is still very valuable.
Under their sight, the giant serpent slithered towards the three kaiju bodies, then started eating one of them. It's the only flying kaiju, the bee kaiju.
At this time, the team that had previously been dispatched has returned to the giant aircraft, the stairway was retracted into the cabin and the door was closed.
However, the airplane did not leave right away. They thought that the giant serpent might get full after eating the bee kaiju then leave. At least they will get 2 kaiju's bodies.
As for expelling the giant serpent, that's just looking for death. Even if they have these new weapons, they still don't dare to be arrogant in front of the giant serpent.
Studies have shown that the giant serpent's defense is even higher than the level 5 kaiju.
It can also release thunder and sonic attacks, possessing an even higher attack power than level 5 kaiju. Most people consider it a small-nuclear level creature, which is not what they can provoke.
That's without mentioning that, apart from getting attacked by it first, they are prohibited from attacking the giant serpent. That's the order of the higher-ups
Time passed little by little. What caused the staff on the giant plane to collapse a bit was that the giant serpent swallowed all of the three kaiju's bodies.
"How powerful is this monster's stomach?"
People have long discovered the abnormal eating behavior of the giant serpent. No matter how much food has it eaten, the giant serpent's belly didn't even bulge.
Some people speculate that its digestive acids are extremely powerful. The moment the prey enters its stomach it will get dissolved.
Of course, there is another theory that the giant serpent belly leads to another space, but few people believe in this ridiculous theory.
Seeing that they won't be able to bring the three kaiju's bodies. The engines of the giant aircraft immediately started running. The giant plane slowly lifted off, turned around, then flew back in the way it came from.
Fang Yun glanced in the direction of the plane, then returned to the sea.
'Panda country' created such a new weapon.
This really surprised him. At the same time, an idea arose in his mind.
Blue Planet's humans are constantly advancing. Maybe in the near future, they will become a really powerful civilization. Even a cosmic one.
Once the aliens behind the kaiju come to this planet, it might be a collision between two super civilizations.
Of course, the premise is that the alien civilization allows the Blue Planet human civilization to grow up.
He guessed that the alien civilization invading the Blue Planet shouldn't be a very powerful one. Otherwise, it wouldn't have used kaiju to invade humans.
Maybe, they are like the pioneers of the alien life in Pacific Rim that he had seen before. They might be invading many planets at the same time, so their power is spread a lot.
Anyway, the next scene will definitely be more exciting and challenging. Maybe, he will see a war between civilizations next, maybe even participate in it.
"Things are getting interesting."
With his eyes twinkling, Fang Yun continued swimming in the sea.
........
The new weapons test of the 'Panda country' wasn't made public. It's this country's tradition to act low-key and hide their trump cards.
On the 'Bald Eagle' side. Since that press conference about the successful control of the King Kong kaiju. The news about the "Kaiju vs Kaiju" plan was circulating on the internet.
They are adopting a different strategy from that of 'Panda country'
The 'Bald Eagle' country prefers to publicize their new technology, putting pressure on their competitors, thereby dragging their competitors into military preparations and defeating them with their familiar experience.
The 'Bald Eagles' could have cooperated with the other great powers to fight against the kaiju in the past, but with the continuous development of various technologies on their side, they felt that it was unnecessary.
"I can't imagine a college student working together with a few elementary school students to solve a high-numerical equation."
This is the idea of the 'Bald Eagle' governement and most of their people. They think that they are superior to the rest of the world and feel proud of that.
One month after 'Panda country' conducted its new weapon test, the Bald Eagle also conducted a new weapon test.
Of course, their new weapon test has nothing to do with 'Panda country' new weapon test. The reason why the test time is so close is just a coincidence.
During this new weapon's trial, as usual, they invited many journalists from all over the world.
The new weapon they are announcing this time is a huge aircraft carrier.
According to the data listed by 'Bald Eagle' governement, this aircraft carrier is 370 meters long, which is almost as big as the largest aircraft carrier that they currently own.
However, this aircraft carrier is different from ordinary ones. It has eight huge turbine engines on both sides, and four combined jet engines in the rear.
While the group of reporters was watching the gigantic engines with an astonishing look, the eight huge turbine engines suddenly started turning.
"Roooaaar!"
With the sound of a roaring engine, the gigantic aircraft carrier started to slowly rise from the ground.
When it reached a position of about 100 meters above the ground, its four combined jet engines in the rear started running, giving the carrier a horizontal thrust. The aircraft carrier suspended in the air suddenly started moving forward.
Its speed isn't really that fast, about 50 km/h, but just that has given the journalists there a strong shock.
If Fang Yun was present in this scene, he would definitely say that this aircraft carrier is very similar to the Shield's Helicarrier in the Avengers.
Motherships that can fly in the sky have been proposed before, but apart from the technical difficulties that humans faced before, this technology has a great weakness.
Its air defense capability is very poor, as long as one of the engines get hit, the mothership will get basically get scrapped.
Furthermore, its flight speed is quite slow, and the number of fighters that can be carried is limited.
Based on these characteristics, although this idea is quite popular, no country has vigorously studied it.
However, unexpectedly, the 'Bald Eagles' actually came up with this technology out of nowhere.
Although the speed of this flying aircraft carrier isn't very fast. It's actually fast the aircraft carriers in the water.
More importantly, the number of fighters that can be carried on this aircraft has reached 120.
According to 'Bald Eagle' governement, this aircraft carrier/mothership has extremely amazing air defense performance. The probability of it being struck down is extremely low, even if it's hit on the engine.
As long as the number of engines on both sides is kept above 2, it won't crash.
While the entire human world was shocked by the mothership shown by the 'Bald Eagles', Fang Yun laid on the coast of 'Panda country' with a depressed look on his face.
The giant turtle has left.
