Chapter 197: Godzilla Wannabe Kaiju
🕑 Added 2020-02-22 17:53:24 +0000 UTCCaptain Aikawa ran into the cabin, then rushed to the cab and increased the speed of the ship to the maximum. Unfortunately, their boat is quite big, its speed is very limited.
Its maximum speed is only 18 knots.
This speed is already pretty good among fishing boats. Aikawa was very satisfied with it previously, but now he became extremely disgusted with it.
Too slow, too slow.
Captain Aikawa's forehead was filled with sweat. After increasing the speed of the boat, he started calling the rescue on Okinawa, informing them of the thing that is following them.
"Godzilla! Godzilla!"
"Godzilla is in the sea!"
It wasn't easy, but Aikawa finally managed to the people in Okinawa about what happened and where they are. Thanks to the fact that they have reached the offshore area of Okinawa, so they have a signal.
Someone found a true monster in the ocean. This is not a joke. Although it sounds a bit exaggerated, this is not the previous era. Since ancient and mutant creatures have already emerged, true monsters aren't impossible.
What's more, some time ago, they were informed about a true monster invading the Hualien area.
Not long after, relevant rescue vessels sailed towards Aikawa's boat. They were not 'Sakura country' maritime self-defense forces, but the 'Bald Eagle' country's warships stationed there.
They also got the news first time from the personnel stationed in the 'Sakura country' rescue department.
Because the speed of warships is relatively slow, the helicopters were sent first.
Although the picture of the monster that attacked Hualien City was not posted online, the higher-ups of the 'Bald Eagle' Country still received the relevant images.
They attached great importance to this incident, they are even more interested in that monster. Unfortunately, they weren't able to capture it to conduct research.
Judging from the image data, this newly emerged monster is even stronger than the Five Monster Kings. Except for the giant serpent that was able to kill it alone.
That monster simply came out of some sci-fi movie or novel. It has never appeared in the world and there isn't any relevant information about it. It has a huge body, super strength and a defensive ability even superior to that of the super Mosasaurus.
In addition, it can spray a superacid that can dissolve any material.
Under the night sky, the engine of a fishing boat was booming, speeding forward at its fastest speed.
In the cockpit, Captain Aikawa was wiping the sweat from his face. He stared at the red dot on the display screen tightly, his face filled with terror.
Even his legs felt unstable. He pressed his hands firmly against the operating table, barely holding himself up.
"Again!? what the hell is that?!"
Aikawa suddenly yelled loudly. His face filled with disbelief and despair. Another red dot appeared behind the red dot that was following them.
"Is it another Godzilla? or some other type of monster?"
His teeth rattled. He wondered if he did something lately that angered the gods of the sea, otherwise why he is so unlucky?
Fang Yun didn't know that Aizawa had regarded him as a second Godzilla. He is currently watching the monster in front of him.
In terms of appearance, this monster does indeed look a bit like Godzilla, with a particularly strong body and a small head. In addition, its lower limbs and hands are indeed similar to that of Godzilla.
Its spine looks like a rocking mountain, composed mainly of extremely sharp bones. Providing an impenetrable defense in the back.
Examining this kaiju closely, Fang Yun couldn't help but wonder if this Godzilla copycat kaiju can shoot beams out of its mouth.
Under Fang Yun's observation, the Godzilla-like Kaiju extended its head to the big boat ahead. It quickly approached it, slamming into the big boat, then attacked the deck with its giant claw.
On the fishing boat, the crew members were still sorting the captured fish into the prepared place, without knowing that there is a monster behind them.
Suddenly, they noticed that their fishing ship started rocking.
"What happened, what happened?"
The crew members stood up, looking at each other with a confused look.
Right at this moment, the ceiling above their heads broke open, and a huge claw came crashing down.
"Ahhh!!"
Fear-filled cries suddenly sounded from the storage room.
The huge claw easily tore the cabin apart, after which a large swath of seawater poured into the cabin.
Apart from the people who were smashed into meat patties, the rest scrambled to escape. One of them saw the giant monster from a crack in the cabin.
"What is that?"
He yelled in fright at the sight of the monstrosity outside, almost pissing his pants.
Hearing that cry, other people also looked outside and saw the giant monster.
As a result, the crew members in the cabin became even more chaotic. Everyone tried to escape, pushing, pulling, stepping on each other, exposing their ugly nature in this crisis.
"Crack!"
A huge hole was torn in the middle of the boat. Although it wasn't directly split in half, it's not far away from it.
It didn't take more than a push from the Godzilla wannabe kaiju to completely break the boat in half, causing most of the crew to fall into the water.
"Ahhh!!"
All of the crew members cried in terror as they struggled to stay on the water surface.
The Godzilla-like kaiju started to eat the people floated on the water surface.
"Do humans really taste better than other creatures?"
This is a question that has been in Fang Yun's mind for a long time. He discovered that these kaiju along with mutant creatures prefer to eat humans.
"Perhaps their genes have been edited by a certain organism, making them hostile to humans."
He is more inclined to the latter possibility. because in his opinion, human beings are completely incomparable to other creatures in the ocean.
Without counting his ability to extract bio-energy from organisms, it's his unique ability, after all. Humans shouldn't be that attractive to those sea creatures and kaiju.
After all, most animals like to eat high-protein foods. Humans obviously don't fulfill this characteristic, hence their attraction to monsters is very weird.
The water waves surged on the sea surface. Many crew members were madly swimming to the distance, trying to escape from this place.
However, they are too slow.
That kaiju can easily pull them out of the water and throw them into his mouth.
"How many Kaiju walked out of that space Chanel?"
Fang Yun thought about it, this is already the second kaiju he met and he just woke up not long ago. He is also in the Pacific, quite far from the Grass sea.
There should be many other kaiju that drilled out from the space channel.
"I wonder if the humans of this world can resist the attack of the Kaiju."
The kaiju he met so far is a bit different from the kaiju he saw on the Space Channel. The kaiju he saw are highly toxic creatures that emit a lot of venom and radiation in the places they pass by.
In addition, their blood will evaporate to form nitrogen dioxide, which is very harmful to most creatures.
However, the kaiju that he hunted in Hualien City obviously did not have these characteristics.
Perhaps the Kaiju in that world aren't similar, or the kaiju that have appeared right now don't have these characteristics as they are too weak.
"Da! Da! Da! Da!"
While Fang Yun was thinking about that, a loud sound quickly approached this place.
"Helicopter?"
