Chapter 194: Silicon-based creature
🕑 Added 2020-02-19 22:53:25 +0000 UTCChen Meng got into a car and found that the survivors that ran elsewhere are inside. She didn't try to talk to them, but sat alone in the corner and tried to calm herself.
A police officer asked if she had seen other survivors while she was on the road. She shook her head. Not long after, the car turned on and returned to the city.
On the side of the sea, the sound of water splashing and flesh colliding continuously sounded. Two huge monsters fought fiercely, making up a rare sight. However, Chen Meng has no intention to appreciate it.
In the sea, two giant monsters are fighting fiercely. However, one can see from their movements that one is trying to escape and the other one is entangling it.
The three helicopters spun over Fang Yun and the kaiju. The pilots above all stared at the two monsters with their eyes wide open. They didn't partake in the battle but rather observed it.
"What is this? some sci-fi monster?"
The pilots of the three helicopters all felt that they had strayed in the shooting site of Ultraman, the current scene they are watching was simply unimaginable a few years ago.
They turned on the camera under the helicopter and started recording the battle below.
Fang Yun didn't care about the three helicopters hovering above his head. Now that he has long-range attack skills, he is not afraid of helicopters.
In addition, these three helicopters don't seem to have any tendency to attack, so Fang Yun didn't pay attention to them from the beginning. He focused most of his attention on the Kaiju in front of him.
The kaiju seemed to notice that it couldn't defeat Fang Yun, so it has been trying to escape a while ago, and Fang Yun has been obstructing it all this while.
They are currently still in the shallow part of the beach.
Although the kaiju is very large, Fang Yun isn't small. After a long struggle, Fang Yun managed to wrap around it two times, feeling that he has a firm grip on the kaiju, Fang Yun exerted all his force.
This is Fang Yun's favorite posture. He can fully exert his strength. Under his immense force, the bones of the kaiju started creaking, causing it to howl in pain.
In order to kill this kaiju as soon as possible, Fang Yun started to discharge again. This time, he isn't planning to stop until the kaiju dies.
Blue arcs filled the surface of Fang Yun and the kaiju's body, along with the surrounding water. In just a short time, the kaiju started emitting a burnt smell. 10 minutes later, it stopped moving.
Fang Yun slowly loosened his body, then bit the arm of the kaiju and dragged it away.
"The giant serpent can discharge?"
"Do we need to chase?"
In the communication channel of these three helicopters, the pilots started talking. They also did not expect that the giant serpent has the ability to discharge.
This is a big discovery! 'they didn't know that the 'Bald Eagle' already know this.'
What's more important is whether they need to intercept the monster killed by the giant serpent. It's a creature unlike any other creature they have ever seen. It's more like a fantasy creature that a real one.
The three pilots decided to closely follow the giant serpent. Although their helicopters are equipped with some weapons, they don't dare to act without receiving any order.
After all, judging from experience, these giant creatures have a certain IQ, they know the concept of revenge. As long as they attack the giant serpent, it's guaranteed that it will attack them in the future.
But if they let it run away, the giant serpent might return to this place to hunt humans.
Moreover, the body of that strange monster has a strong scientific research value.
The people in the command center seemed to be hesitating. They weren't able to make up their minds for a while.
A few moments later, they didn't have to tangle anymore. The giant serpent dragged the kaiju's body and dived underwater. The three helicopters hovered over that area for a while before going back.
The area where the incident happened was sealed off, and many experts traveled over there. They carefully searched the battle site of the giant serpent and the kaiju to see if there is something valuable left.
They discovered that deep hole corroded by the kaiju's acid, and some meat tissues and blood left by it.
"Carbon is very scarce, but there are a lot of silicon and silicon compounds."
By analyzing the blood and the tissue that fell from the kaiju, the researchers ended with this result.
"So, that monster is a silicon-based creature?"
In the past, the scientific community had fantasized about the existence of silicon-based organisms. Creatures like this also often appeared in movies and novels.
However, this is the first time that a real silicon-based creature has been discovered, and it's still on their home planet.
"The thing that caused this deep hole is an extremely strong acid, which is 10,000 times more acidic than concentrated sulfuric acid."
This result is actually very inaccurate because they extracted the acid from the soil. That acid is likely to be even stronger than that!
The data they got is just the minimum value.
Even so, it's extremely shocking. If a human touched that acid, they're likely to dissolve in less than a second.
It's difficult for them to imagine that an acid that strong is produced by a living organism.
The news about a kaiju appearing on the coast of Hualien city eventually passed out, but it was mainly spread in 'Panda country', it wasn't so popular internationally.
The main reason is the lack of video or pictures as proof.
In the days following the incident, a lot of warships and maritime police boats were patrolling the coast of Hualien city. Mainly to defend against the giant serpent.
......
In another place far away, Fang Yun was laying on the beach, charging his batteries.
After leaving with the Kaiju yesterday, he dragged it to this desert island and ate it.
400,000 bio-energy points were added to his energy storage.
It's worth mentioning that after this evolution, the amount of bio-energy required for the next one is 5 million points.
In addition, his body size has grown quite a lot this time.
From the previous 60 meters, he has grown to 75 meters long. His diameter has also advanced from 2 meters to 2,5 meters. He is constantly approaching his initial goal of 100 meters.
Furthermore, he got 22 skill points from this evolution, reaching a total of 31 skill points.
Last night, because of the sudden incident, he didn't have time to upgrade his skills, but after killing the kaiju, he upgraded "Thunder Domain" to the second level.
After the upgrade, the might of this skill has increased several times. Not only has the range of the skill has widened, but the electricity itself also became stronger, getting closer to real natural thunder.
The range of influence on magnetic fields has also more than doubled. Overall, it's a very large upgrade.
He also discovered by accident that his magnetic field causes living creatures to feel uncomfortable and dizzy.
This somewhat reminded him of the king field, dragon pressure, momentum and other similar adjectives he read in novels.
He couldn't help but wonder if one day, just passing by will cause most living beings to be frightened to death.
When he came to this beach last night, he found that the crabs and other small creatures became very uncomfortable and dizzy when they approached him.
If the intensity of his magnetic field is higher, it may affect more advanced and powerful creatures.
However, Fang Yun didn't think much about this subject.
When he discovered this thing, he was amazed at first, but after thinking about it for a bit, he gave up and started eating the body of the kaiju.
As for now ... he twisted his body, laying in a different posting, then started to think about the current situation.
