Chapter 193: The Rescue Arrives
🕑 Added 2020-02-19 13:26:19 +0000 UTC"Boom, Boom!"
This kaiju opened its large mouth, running wildly towards Fang Yun. Its step caused the earth to tremble, leaving large footprints behind it.
The distance between them was only a few dozen meters. The kaiju crossed it in just three steps. It attacked Fang Yun with its sickle-like claws.
Fang Yun leaned to the side, easily avoiding the kaiju attack.
As he guessed before, this Kaiju is too bulky. Fang Yun can see the bulging muscles from the cracks between its scales. In terms of strength, this kaiju is extremely powerful, capable of inflicting huge damage to slow-moving and stationary objects.
However, when facing Fang Yun, who's extremely agile, it couldn't even scratch his corners.
After striking at an empty space, the Kaiju suddenly turned his and faced Fang Yun again. The next moment, it opened its mouth and spit a yellow liquid at Fang Yun.
"Acid?"
Fang Yun knew a lot of kaiju have some special abilities, and this is obviously one of them.
In fact, from the moment he saw this kaiju, Fang Yun was guarding against its special ability, so the moment the kaiju spat its acid, he dodged to the side.
The acid fell into the place he was standing before, then corroded the ground. In the end, only a pitch-black hole a meter wide remained.
At the same time, a pungent odor emanated from the pit.
Fang Yun couldn't help leaning back. This smell was just like the smell of a strong fertilizer he smelled when he was 10 years old.
He shook his head, and after the scent was gone, Fang Yun was preparing to attack the monster. Unexpectedly, the Kaiju attacked him first.
This time, he didn't dodge anymore. He quickly slithered forward, then without giving the kaiju the time to react, he wrapped around it.
The kaiju tried to attack Fang Yun's body with its sickle-like claws, but this resulted in only sparks.
On the other side, Chen Meng and the others have run far away. However, because the two monsters are way too big, they can clearly see them even a hundred meters away.
From their perspective, the Kaiju stood like a hill in the jungle, and coiling around it is a terrifying snake.
While the serpent was coiling around the kaiju, it also was madly attacking it with its claws.
Chen Meng leaned on a big tree and gasped heavily. She raised her head and glanced at the place where the giant serpent and the monster were and gradually relaxed.
This feeling is like walking next to the hell gate.
At this time, she discovered that the mobile phone in her pocket was shaking constantly. She took it out and looked at the screen. It was a message from her good girlfriend Song Ran.
She was asking if she arrived home.
After giving a brief reply to her, she continued running forward.
At this time, she was the only one around, the others have escaped from other directions.
She needs to run to the highway, maybe the rescuers have arrived.
In the forest, the kaiju was trying to get rid of Fang Yun's entanglement. It struggled madly for a while, then suddenly opened its mouth and bit on Fang Yun's scales.
However, although the teeth of this Kaiju are sharp, Fang Yun's scales defense is very exaggerated. The teeth of the kaiju are far from being able to penetrate them.
Just as the kaiju struggled to bite on Fang Yun, a drop of acid fell from its mouth to Fang Yun's scales, resulting in white smoke and a black mark on the scales.
After seeing this, a fine light flashed in the kaiju's eyes. It suddenly started to spit a lot of acid on Fang Yun's scales.
From this perspective, these monsters actually have a certain IQ.
Fang Yun noticed that his scales started corroding, so he no longer hesitated. He opened his mouth and bit on the kaiju's neck with his sharp teeth.
His sharp teeth penetrated into the scale of the kaiju with relative ease. Blue blood flowed from the wound on the monster's neck.
Fang Yun tasted a special taste from its blue, vastly different from any creature he ate.
"No wonder, it's a silicon-based creature."
Fang Yun shook his head vigorously, trying to break the neck of the kaiju, but the muscle fibers of this creature are very tough. More importantly, he can't exert all his strength from this position, so for a while, he couldn't break the neck of the kaiju.
However, Fang Yun's moment brought great pain to the kaiju. It mourned loudly. At the same time, it secreted more and more acid, trying to corrode Fang Yun's scales, then tear him apart.
Fang Yun's scales were constantly corroded, then regenerated. This process was repeated many times, but the speed of corrosion surpassed the speed of regeneration.
If it continues like this, the scales of Fang Yun will eventually be completely corroded, revealing the flesh below. Fang Yun was at a disadvantage in this battle.
Fang Yun knew that he couldn't go on like this. He can't exert much power in this position He has to find a way to bring this guy down.
So he immediately activated "Thunder Domain"
"Crack!!"
From the surface of his body, blue arcs burst out. The kaiju who was originally tightly holding Fang Yun's body and biting him was shocked by the electricity. It couldn't bite Fang Yun anymore.
Its hands that were holding Fang Yun tightly also relaxed.
"Oh?"
In the distance, Chen Meng, who was running towards the highway, suddenly heard a strange noise behind her. She turned around and immediately saw the electricity constantly seeping out from Fang Yun's scales.
"The giant serpent can discharge?"
Chen Meng was shocked. Although Fang Yun's ability to discharge is not a secret to the 'Bald Eagle' government, it's still not known to the rest of the world.
After catching her breath, Chen Meng suppressed the shock in her heart and continued running forward.
In the forest, Fang Yun's body fell heavily to the ground, causing a loud tremor, but he immediately stood up and rushed towards the kaiju.
After approaching the kaiju, he wrapped his tail around its legs, then exerted all his strength, tripping the monster to the ground.
Fang Yun attacked the kaiju with "Thunder Domain" again. Just as he prepared to bite the kaiju's neck again. The kaiju quickly stood up, then ran towards the ocean.
Seeing this scene, Fang Yun was happy. This is exactly what he wants.
It seems that this Kaiju is ready to escape towards the sea. It's just that he can exert most of his power in the water, his "Thunder Domain" is also more powerful in the sea.
In just a few dozen seconds, the kaiju ran out of the forest. Although this monster isn't very agile, it's quite fast.
Chen Meng, who had just arrived on the highway, thought that she was finally safe, but the next moment, she felt the ground tremble.
She turned around and almost cried.
The kaiju was running towards her at an incredible speed.
Fortunately, instead of attacking her, the kaiju ran straight towards the sea.
Unfortunately, there is another monster behind it.
Fortunately, the giant serpent didn't take her seriously. Its eyes were mostly stuck on the kaiju running ahead.
However, Chen Meng was frightened, because she saw that when the giant serpent passed by, it lowered its head and glanced at her.
"Glup."
Chen Meng crouched on the side of the highway, her legs really can't take it anymore. She is too exhausted to run again.
When the two monsters got into the water, they started fighting again.
"Dadadada!"
Chen Meng suddenly heard the sound of several helicopter propeller turning.
Chen Meng was immediately thrilled. She quickly looked in the direction of the sound and saw three military helicopters coming from far away.
Seeing this scene, she was gritted her teeth and propped herself up, then waved her hands to the helicopters, yelling loudly.
"Save me! Save me!"
She yelled twice but the helicopters didn't seem to hear it. They are not only quite far from her, but it's also quite dark and they can't see her.
So the three helicopters flew over her without stopping, then hovered over the two monsters.
"..."
Fortunately, she heard the sound of sirens from the highway.
