🕑 Added 2020-02-17 00:25:45 +0000 UTC"Boom!!"
That huge monster fell not far ahead from Chen Meng resulting in a loud sound like a missile explosion. Several large trees were broken by the shockwaves, breaking from the middle and flying into the air.
"Ahhh!"
This scene caused Chen Meng and the rest of the people to cry out loud. They tried their best to resist the violent wind and quickly ran back towards the lake.
"We're finished!"
Chen Meng heard the loud cry from Yang Ping. She easily found that the other side's body is shaking, not that she is that much better though.
She slowly backed out while staring at the huge monster in front. This time, she was able to clearly see its appearance.
It's absolutely over 100 meters tall. It has a bodybuilder-like body covered in scales and a Godzilla-like head, it's absolutely grotesque and horrifying. Chen Meng even started to wonder whether she is really inside a movie.
Chen Meng bit her lip. She hid in the middle of the crowd, leaning on a tree and gasping heavily, trying to gather her breath. She leaned on a tree she stumbled upon.
Otherwise, she would directly fall to the ground, she can't even feel her legs anymore.
The giant monster turned around slowly, then looked down at them. Opening its mouth, it let out a harsh roar.
"Woo!"
The low, but penetrating sound reappeared. The muscles of this monster shook constantly while howling, its turquoise neck veins looked like twisting snakes.
"Ahhhh!!"
Chen Meng and the rest of the people all fell on the ground and covered their ears the moment this monster roared.
Some people reacted slowly and experienced harsh pain. They fell directly on the ground, their nose and mouth were congested, their bodies trembled madly, blood seeped from their ears.
Right at this moment, the giant monster suddenly leaned down, then caught the people who fell into the ground with its nightmarish claw-like hand. Like eating candy, the monster tossed those people into his mouth.
"Ahhhhh!!"
Seeing this horrible scene, the remaining few people started to yell madly, trying to relieve their fear and terror.
"How come the rescuers haven't come yet! Help! Help!"
"I don't want to die, I don't want to die, let me go, let me go!"
"Run, run, run!"
There are only seven or eight people left. Chen Meng also wanted to scream in horror, but with the bit of reason she had left, she struggled to prevent her screams. She didn't give up on hope yet, she didn't want to be noticed by the monster.
When the other people started to flee, Chen Meng also ran madly towards the lake.
It's just that they are really turtle-like slow compared to the giant monster.
Previously, the monster followed many scattered people, allowing them to escape. Now that there are only a few of them left, or together, it certainly won't let them go.
The monster extended its giant hand, grabbed two people, then threw them in its mouth. After that, it turned its head and looked at one person.
Chen Meng suddenly felt something. Without stopping, she turned her head and looked backward. She immediately saw the huge hand that is approaching her.
"Ahhh!!"
Chen Meng couldn't keep but scream in horror. She leaned against a big tree, her face full of fear, her eyes closed tightly. She didn't dare to open her eyes and look at the huge monster not far away.
On both sides, there were four people running, including the short man Yang Ping and the tall boy Luo Yong.
Hearing Chen Meng's horror-filled scream, they looked at her. After seeing that horrible scene, their hearts almost burst.
They seemed to see their own end, grief and despair filled their faces.
Chen Meng leaned against the big tree, shivering heavily.
Fear flashed in her mind as she imagined her end. The thought of being eaten by that monster almost broke her.
She will be caught by the monster huge claw. The monster will then raise its claw, tilt its head, open its grotesque mouth, then release her, letting her helplessly fall into the monster's mouth, unable to escape the fate of being eaten.
Thinking of this scene, she almost fainted with fear.
Chen Meng accepter her fate. She closed her eyes and waited for the inevitable. After some time passed, she didn't feel anything, the tree she is leaning on is still there.
"what happened?"
When she closed my eyes, the monster's claws were just a few meters away from her. It stands to reason that now that 10 seconds have passed, she should have been caught, but she doesn't feel that anything has changed.
With such a doubt, she slowly opened her eyes.
The next scene she saw almost caused her to faint.
The huge horrific monster stood just a few meters away from her.
The giant monster's muscles looked like a bulging rock, its dark blue skin is definitely intimidating, Its scale armor looked similar to that of a lizard, but it's much thicker.
Its two lower limbs looked like two giant pillars to Chen Meng right now, even looking up, Chen Meng couldn't see its head clearly. Looking at its giant legs, Chen Meng felt that she wasn't as big as one of its toes.
Its head is a dinosaur-shaped. its teeth are very numerous and jagged, a trace of saliva hanging from its mouth, and its lips were filled with bloodstains, making it look like a demon from hell.
Seeing this frightening image, Chen Meng was really frightened. Perhaps, the fear she felt in her whole life can't amount to the fear she felt this night.
She is really feeling dizzy and weak right now, on the verge of fainting, her body felt like jelly.
However, she bit her tip of the tongue to keep herself awake and tightened the muscles of her legs to keep standing.
She leaned back and tried to see the whole image of this monster.
She wants to know why this monster hasn't attacked her.
Running forward, Yang Ping, Luo Yong, and two others were also aware of the anomaly in the back. They turned their heads and looked back, they were shocked at the sight of the motionless monster.
The fierce, rampant monster stood silently in front of the girl and didn't attack her.
"Glup."
Under the big tree, Chen Meng swallowed her saliva, then looked intently at the giant monster in front of her. She suddenly found that the giant monster wasn't looking at her, but looked at ...
Behind her?
A flash of light flashed through Chen Meng's mind, she took a deep breath, then bravely looked behind.
She didn't find anything worthy of the monster's attention, the only special thing is that lake.
Just as she was puzzled, the water surface of the lake behind her started to change.
Chen Meng took a deep breath and looked at the lake intensely.
She watched as the water surface slowly arched, and underneath it is a huge black shadow, this must be the thing that attracted the monster's attention!
"Bang!"
Finally, with the sound of water breaking, the huge shadow broke out from the water and stood upright.
Chen Meng and the rest looked as if they were choked by someone. They stood right there, frozen in shock, mouth wide open.
