🕑 Added 2020-02-15 23:21:24 +0000 UTC"Ahhhh!!"
The crowd suddenly fell into complete panic, everyone was yelling. As the giant monster approached, the crowd hurriedly run into the forest next to the road.
"Yes, I have to run away!"
Chen Meng suddenly snapped out from her fear and quickly ran towards the forest next to her. However, because she was too frightened, she struggled to move forward, her legs felt like jelly.
Due to too much fear, a layer of water mist accumulated in her eyes, but at last she gritted her teeth and ran straight ahead.
From the corner of her eyes, Chen Meng noticed that several girls were paralyzed with fear. They laid on the ground while shivering, fear filling their faces.
"Bang! Bang!"
In the rear, the sound of the monster's legs landing on the ground sounded, causing Chen Meng's heart to drum.
"How to do! how to do!"
Chen Meng bit her lip tightly. Just a moment ago, she was still glad that the pothole was filled and that she can go home, in the blink of the eyes this happened.
"Boom! Boom!"
Suddenly, the sound gunfire sounded behind, causing Chen Meng to remember. There are police officers next to the road, they also have guns.
Thinking of this, she looked back, still was running forward. She watched as a large number of bullets collided with monster's scales, creating sparks...
None of those bullets were able to break the monster defenses.
Seeing this, she felt a chill in her spine.
The next scene caused her to be even more frightened. The monster suddenly ran forward, these tended its giant palm and slapped the police and the people next to the road.
"Waahh!!"
Over there is the group of policemen, as well as the construction workers and their trucks, but now under the slap of this monster, whether it is a construction truck or a police car, all of them have become scrap iron.
As for those people ...Their fate can be imagined.
The whole body of this monster is completely exposed to the sight of everyone.
It's extremely tall. In terms of size, it's more than a hundred meters, humans are nothing more than ants in front of it.
Chen Meng glanced at the monster, then immediately turned around and ran into the forest, her heart is throbbing like a drum.
Not only her, but others also ran towards the forest at a professional marathon level. The potential of humans under crisis can be sometimes immense.
When the sound of gunfire rang before, they all thought that maybe the monster could be stopped or even repelled. Unfortunately, they weren't even able to stop it for a second, guns have no effect.
"Quick, quick!"
Chen Meng shouted internally.
"Someone will rescue us! definitely!"
She comforted herself internally. She noticed that many people around were calling someone, and listening to their voices, they are calling the police.
As long as she can survive until the rescuers arrive, then she will be safe.
But the premise is that she have to persist until then.
Fortunately, her physical strength is good. When they went to Wulong Mountain five years ago, she was the one that climbed the fastest, even sister Ning, a native that lived next to that mountain from childhood, wasn't her opponent.
Thinking of her girlfriends, Chen Meng smiled bitterly. She decided that if she returned safely this time, she would definitely gather together with them.
She ran forward with all her might, a look of determination on her face.
"Woo!!!!"
A harsh roar suddenly sounded from the rear. This roar was like a dolphin tweet, but it was lower and with a stronger penetration.
"Ahh!"
Chen Meng felt a tingling in her eardrum as if someone stabbed her ear with a sharp object, and immediately screamed. She knelt down while holding her ears, her face contorted in pain.
It wasn't only her, others were the same as her.
"Boom! boom!"
She doesn't need to look back to know that the monster is catching up. This kind of tremor can only be created by a monster of that level.
"No, no!"
Chen Meng shook her head frantically.
"I want to stand up, I want to leave here!"
She gritted her teeth, endured the sharp pain and splitting headache, then stood up and started running forward.
The tremor on the ground was getting stronger and stronger. She could feel that the monster is getting closer and closer to them.
In fact, it's indeed the case, the monster is chasing them from behind. The monster suddenly extended its hand and caught the two people at the end of the team.
Then, in their fear-filled screams and the horror-filled sight of other people, the giant monster threw the two men in its mouth.
Although she didn't look back, Chen Meng was able to guess what happened from the cries of the two people. Tears fell from her eyes while running forward, she is really terrified.
"Whew, whew."
Chen Meng wheezed heavily, they had already crossed quite a long distance. Many people were crushed under the giant monster's feet or were captured and eaten alive.
Few people remain, and despite their exhaustion, they squeezed every drop of energy in their bodies, struggling to move forward, their eyes filled with the desire to survive.
However, the monster behind her didn't stop chasing them.
"What to do? what to do?!"
Chen Meng's heart was filled with panic, and the fear on her face became even stronger, even a little despair. She is already very tired right now.
"boom! boom!"
In the rear, the heavy footsteps became closer and closer. With each step, Chen Meng felt that a hammer stroke her heart.
This monster leisurely moved forward. It also occasionally stops to catch the people who try to run to the side. That's the reason why it didn't catch up with Chen Meng already.
"Ah!"
Chen Meng tripped over something then fell to the ground. However, she immediately stood up and continued moving forward.
Chen Meng wasn't at the forefront, there are about a dozen people in front of her.
They were also wheezing heavily like Chen Meng.
"Fuck, It's over, Luo Yong, I can't run."
Chen Meng heard a short man yelling in front.
"Continue running, run! remember to tell my parents, I love them!"
The tall boy next to the short man encouraged him.
"Yang Ping, hold on, maybe rescuers are coming soon."
"Fuck, we've been running for so long, why didn't the rescuers arrive yet?!"
Hearing Luo Yong reply, Yang Ping yelled loudly. He gritted his teeth, almost crushing them, his face was completely red.
Taking a deep breath, he didn't talk about giving up anymore but just followed Luo Yong.
In the rear, Chen Meng was inspired by Luo Yong's words, her despair-filled face became firm again.
"I……"
However, at this time, Chen Meng found that the short man, the tallboy and all the people that were running ahead stopped.
She noticed that a lake is blocking their way forward.
In front of the lake is a cliff.
If they want to continue escaping into the mountains, they have to run over the edge of the lake, but they don't have enough time.
"Let's run this way!"
Suddenly, Chen Meng heard a shout. She looked up and found that the tall boy pulled the short man and ran towards the left.
Seeing this, others followed behind them.
The same is true of Chen Meng.
Right at this moment, a huge claw fell right in front of them, blocking their way forward.
