Chapter 187: Mythological Giant
🕑 Added 2020-02-11 00:07:32 +0000 UTCWhen Tang Xue saw Hook, he discovered that he wasn't in good condition. He was covered in gauze, but he can still speak, his consciousness is also quite clear.
He was originally planning to let Hook rest for a few days before asking him what he had gone through, but Hook insisted on telling him what happened.
The people in the ward were told to leave, leaving only Tang Xue and two government personnel.
Hook was silent for a while, seemingly sorting his thoughts. After a moment, he started recounting what happened.
It was eight o'clock in the evening, the weather was quite bad that day. The moon was not visible and the sky was covered in dark clouds, but they were still moving forward without a problem.
As expected, the grass sea was filled with all kinds of ancient mutant creatures, including a lot that they have never seen before.
From this point of view, it is very likely that the origin of all those sea monsters is from this place.
What secrets are hidden under this sea?
Such thoughts filled them with nervousness and excitement.
"Maybe this secret will be discovered by us, Hook."
Next to Hook, a white man with pierced ears said to him.
"What do you think is hidden under this sea? a secret base of aliens? Hahaha"
He laughed at this own joke.
The topic of aliens has been around for a long time. Various UFOs have spotted or filmed before, but they all turned out to be spoofs.
Even if a true UFO has been filmed, it always turns out to be a launched rocket or a flying aircraft.
In short, flying spaceships are mostly from the imagination of people, no one has ever seen a true one.
Many people are also wondering whether there are truly aliens in the universe.
Since the emergence of a variety of ancient and mutant creatures in the ocean, this topic has become even hotter and more controversial. These creatures look very much like the masterpiece of aliens.
However, there is always one question. If these sea monsters are truly the masterpiece of aliens, then what is their purpose?
If those aliens want to invade this planet or destroy humanity, then there is no need to use those monsters. Since they can cross the universe and come to this blue planet, then their technology is vastly superior to them.
This raises a question.
What is the attitude of those aliens to the Blue Planet? An invader, an ally, or something else?
Some people also think that perhaps these mutant and ancient creatures don't have any relationship with aliens. Some people think that they are perhaps they are related to ancient civilizations.
Atlantis or something.
These sea monsters are probably their creation. After all, apart from genetic engineering, they can't think of any other way these creatures who should have gone extinct millions of years ago are back in the present age.
Hook was also very puzzled and curious. Where did these ancient creatures come from? He began to express his thoughts with his companion, and the two started a friendly exchange.
Later, more companions joined their team.
Just as they were having a good time chatting, the ship's commander told them that the device detected an abnormal magnetic field fluctuation nearby.
After making sure that this magnetic field fluctuation won't cause them any trouble, the commander decided to continue moving forward.
The three warships were slowly moving forward. Hook was leaning on the rails and looking at the endless ea.
Everyone looked serious. The secret of the emergence of the sea monsters might be right below them, so they stopped chatting and vigilantly looked around.
After moving forward about 5 kilometers, an accident happened.
...........
When talking about this part, Hook paused, his eyes were filled with pain and his face looked pale. He should be remembring the reason or the thing that caused the accident.
Tang Xue patted him gently on the shoulder, indicating to him that he can go at his own pace.
After a long while, Hook continued to talk about what happened.
.........
At that time, it wasn't the warships that had the accident, it was the submarines underwater.
There were two submarines that came along with them, both of which were provided by the 'Bald Eagle' and were the latest types with the most advanced technology.
These two submarines, one named Corber, the other called Moonridge were moving along with their team at the depth of 500 meters, they were connected with the team so they could contact them at any time.
Suddenly, the signal of the Corber disappeared, at the same time Moonridge sent a distress signal to all three warships.
Hook and the rest of the people on the warships realized that something was wrong, but they were at a loss. The submarine was at a position of 500 meters underwater, they didn't even know what happened to them.
The people on the three warships became tense. They began to use Sonar detectors to detect underwater conditions, fearing that they would be suddenly attacked by something.
Right At this moment, a scary scene happened.
........
A look of fear emerged on Hook's face, even his body started shaking.
Tang Xue hugged him and started patting his back slightly, trying to reassure him.
The two government personnel stopped written and looked at this scene in silence.
Hook swallowed his saliva, then continued recounting what happened.
..........
Hook and his companions quickly retreated to the side of the cabin, however, the next scene scared the shit out of them.
On the dark sea in front of them, a huge water bump formed, then an extremely huge monster revealed its figure.
"That was definitely not an ancient creature nor was it a mutant."
Hook said to the two government personnel next to him.
"That monster looked like a primate, it stood straight like a human, I don't even know how it stood straight in the sea."
"It looked like the mythological giants, however, its face and body were very different from that of humans.
"It has a thick layer of blue scales on its body, but the scales didn't cover all parts of its body. On the exposed place was a wrinkled purplish-black color. That monster was really ugly."
Hearing Hook's narrative, a scene emerged in Tang Xue and the two government personnel minds.
Hook and the others stood on the deck, looking in horror at the monster that appeared in front of them.
That monster was like a giant from mythology, half-suspended above the sea, staring coldly at them.
It has a human-like body, but this thing is definitely not a human, it only has a human shape.
The head is similar to a carnivorous dinosaur, but it's undoubtedly much more ugly. There are two horns on the top of its head, making it looked like a shura
After this monster appeared, he immediately launched an attack on the warships.
That monster is extremely huge, at least 50 meters tall. That's just half of its body that appeared on the sea surface. Its complete length is definitely over 100 meters
When the warship was preparing to attack it, the guy sprayed a yellow of liquid at them. Hook dodged in time, but the rest of his companions were not so lucky.
They were sprayed with that liquid and instantly melted.
