Chapter 185: Disappointing Discovery
🕑 Added 2020-02-07 19:45:22 +0000 UTCThe news that the 'Bald Eagle' country captured the mutant Elasmosaurus could not be concealed, so the next morning, the relevant news occupied the headlines of various countries.
Everyone was astonished that this mutant Elasmosaurus was so easily captured. The super Mosasaurus whose size is comparable has tossed the 'Bald Eagle' military for almost three months!
Many people discussed on the internet whether the mutant Elasmosaurus is weaker or whether it's stupid.
Afterward, everyone became curious again. Since the giant turtle can secrete a life-extending substance. What secret is hidden on the mutant Elasmosaurus?
A lot of people also asked whether the giant serpent and the mutant Mosasaurus were captured by the 'Bald Eagle' government. However, the 'Bald Eagle' answers were ambiguous.
"Probably? Anyway, we haven't seen those two monsters for a long time."
The whole world was paying attention to the mutant Elasmosaurus captured by the 'Bald Eagle' country. According to the disclosed information, the mutant Elasmosaurus was captured alive, but since it fell into the hands of the 'Bald Eagle, there is no possibility of it escaping.
It took a long time to transport the mutant Elasmosaurus. After all, Mozambique is quite a long distance from the 'Bald Eagle' country.
About half a month later, the freighter carrying the mutant Elasmosaurus stopped at the east coast of the 'Bald Eagle' country.
Although the mutant Elasomsaurus was in a state of weakness. It didn't die under the care of the scientists.
After arriving at the 'Bald Eagle' country, the Elasmosaurus was sent to a giant pool specially prepared for it, surrounded by a tall wall and a grid of electricity.
After getting settled there, it was immediately welcomed by a large team of scientists.
About two months later, the 'Bald Eagle' government took the initiative to organize a press conference about the mutant Elasmosaurus. In front of the media, the government expressed that the Elasmosaurus is in a good state.
They naturally showed a video to the masses.
In that video, the mutant Elasmosaurus was leisurely swimming in a giant pool. It looked to be in good condition.
A reporter took the lead and asked the question that everyone wanted to ask. Have they discovered any secret on the mutant Elasmosaurus?
Regarding this, the government officials claimed that they did find something on the mutant Elasmosaurus, and it was an entirely different substance from the giant turtle.
However, the government official didn't talk specifically about that substance. He said that they were in the state of confidentiality and that it's not time to make it public.
Another reporter asked about the giant serpent and the super Mosasaurus, but the official didn't give a precise answer. He just replied that he didn't know, maybe, etc...
This TV interview has simulated the mainland 'Huaxia' a lot. Although they are cooperating with the 'Brown Bear' country on researching the giant turtle.
But after all, the giant turtle is under the control of the 'Brown Bear' country. They also can't get first-hand information from them. More importantly, the giant turtle secret isn't as amazing as it sounds.
Until now, they still can't figure the key substances in the "Life Elixir" extract.
"Maybe we should catch our own monster king."
Some government officials said so in the meeting.
So the fleet set off. They are planning to catch the Kraken in the Antarctic ocean.
The Kraken was living a moist life in the Antarctic sea. Without any threat, eating, sleeping, wandering, it's the absolute ruler of this area. The only problem is that it couldn't attack humans anymore.
That was one of its favorite hobbies before.
From time to time, it was discovered by the scientific staff on the Antarctic side, because the Kraken often wandered next to the coast where the scientific staff lives.
It looked at the buildings and humans in the distance every time it passed by there, looking very eager.
However, a small army was stationed at the scientific research base, and the Kraken didn't attack them again after getting repelled several times.
It still wanders around the coastline habitually, looking for a chance to attack them.
Today, the mainland 'Huaxia' warships came to this scientific research place.
They first tried to lure the Kraken ashore by seducing it.
For example, remove the soldiers at the base and tempt it with the defenseless researchers there.
Their warships are about 4km away. The military helicopters are also ready. As long as the Kraken dare to climb on land, the military helicopters will be able to intercept it in a minute.
The Kraken was really fooled at first. It got out of the sea. Several tentacles squirmed on the ice. However, just as half of its body got on land, it suddenly stopped. Then it quickly got back in the water.
"Damn! this beast instinct is really sharp!" The soldier controlling the helicopter 4 kilometers away cursed.
Since the seducing plan failed, then they can only capture it with force.
All the military helicopters immediately moved towards the location of the Kraken. Behind them are several warships.
However, this method has also ended in failure. The Kraken is different from the mutant Elasmosaurus and the super Mosasaurus. It can breathe underwater.
After being attacked, it directly dived into the water. In just a few minutes, it completely disappeared without a trace.
The mainland 'Huaxia' tossed in the Antarctic ocean for 2 months, they could only return without a result.
In present times, the 5 sea kings became an old thing. Not as many people are talking about them, and very few media sources are reporting about them.
Since the giant serpent and the super Mosasaurus disappeared, quite a few boats started roaming the Pacific Ocean. Mostly large ones. There are very few people who dare to go into the sea with a small boat.
Those forty or fifty meters long mutant creatures can easily sink their boats.
In fact, without mentioning those top mutant creatures. Even those 20-30 meters long creatures are a huge threat to their boats.
Overall, things are getting better.
There are more ancient creatures meats on the market, and many mutant creatures have been captured. Research on mutant creatures has also become more and more popular.
The most affected are the medical industry and the health products industry.
The former has developed a lot of new drugs, while the latter is no longer just a swam industry. Some mutated creatures' oils or other body parts really have the effect of strengthening the body and restoring human skin.
However, most of these health products are very expensive.
As time passed, people started getting suspicious. It has been more than half a year since the two monster kings were captured but there is no news yet.
Since the 'Bald Eagle' captured the mutant Elasmosaurus, it hasn't revealed yet what is the "special substance" they discovered.
As for the "Life Elixir" secreted by the giant turtle, no follow-up report has appeared. Now everyone has some doubts. Was that a scam ...
Just as people started getting more and more suspicious, the 'Brown Bear' country finally had some new discoveries.
They have successfully discovered and isolated the special element in the giant turtle secretion.
However, this special element is an unknown element that doesn't exist on this planet at all.
It's very likely to be produced uniquely by the turtle.
In other words, they simply cannot industrially synthesize the "Life Elixir" at all. Are they going to rely on the giant turtle in the end?
