Chapter 203: Space Chanel Discovery
🕑 Added 2020-02-28 16:56:10 +0000 UTCThe nest of the Kaiju is in the Grass Sea area of the Indian Ocean. This view has been supported by most people, mostly because that place has the largest number of kaiju.
How did these creatures appear in that area?
Some people even came up with the crazy idea that there is a space Chanel at the bottom of the Grass sea, connecting to another world. From there, aliens are sending these kaiju.
Their aim should be destroying the entire human civilization and occupying the Blue planet.
"We need to figure out what secrets are hidden in the depth of the Grass sea"
Relevant experts proposed this.
Regardless of whether it's a space Chanel connected to other worlds or an underground space filled with sleeping kaiju, they need to figure out where it is.
The major powers of the Blue Planet once again launched a joint operation to investigate what is hidden in that place.
This time, they dispatched two aircraft carrier formations to escort the relevant experts. This force should be enough to deal with any kaiju that ever appeared.
There are satellites in the sky, submarines underwater, and dozens of warships on the sea surface. Even the most powerful Kaiju beast can't shake this force.
Along the way, they were attacked several times by the kaiju, but under the powerful firepower of the team, they were either driven away or obliterated.
Finally, a few days later, they reached the mission point.
Once they arrived there, they immediately detected abnormal magnetic field fluctuations. However, they weren't surprised at this. In the last expedition, Hook and others also detected the same magnetic field fluctuations.
Right after that, they were attacked by a kaiju.
The people on the warships and submarines became nervous, especially the submarines underwater. They turned the searchlights on, then closely looked at the surrounding scenery through external cameras.
No way, all Kaiju have the ability to avoid sound waves and electromagnetic wave detection. They can only use this seemingly primitive method to be vigilant.
They might have been lucky, as no kaiju have appeared from that time. However, as they continued moving forward, the abnormal magnetic field became stronger and stronger.
According to their investigations, in one area, that abnormal electromagnetic fluctuation reached its peak.
"There must be something down there."
Most of the people looked solemn and serious. Firstly, they used sonar radars to investigate the scenery below, but they didn't discover anything unusual.
Later, they put the newly developed underwater robot that can block electromagnetic waves into the water, the older versions will immediately malfunction once put into water.
This machine has great limitations. It can cut off electromagnetic waves. Similarly, it can't accept the instructions given to it from the warship. They can only hope that it lands in the right place.
Researchers have programmed the underwater robot to automatically rise after reaching the bottom, and during this time, the camera on its body will take pictures of its surroundings.
They put down three of these robots in the water.
After all three robots were launched, the researchers on the warships waiter patiently.
Almost two hours later, the three robots surfaced one after another. However, all the pictures they took are of normal water, nothing special.
"Maybe we should change to another location."
They detected the changes in electromagnetic waves, then moved to another place and dropped the three robots again.
They continued doing so for three days, during which they were attacked by a lot of kaiju. As time passed, the experts on the warships started getting anxious.
They can't stay here for a long time, their recourses are limited.
Fortunately, on the fourth day, they finally got what they wanted.
It was a photo taken by the underwater robot number 3.
The picture is particularly blurry, with many pixels, probably due to the interference of the electromagnetic field below.
However, some things can still be seen clearly.
In this picture, there are a lot of buildings shadows. Although the scene is very blurry, they can still make out the shape of a pyramid.
"These things look very similar to pyramids"
An expert expressed his opinion, his eyes didn't shift from the picture. The rest of the people also nodded in agreement.
In the middle of the buildings suspected of being pyramids, there is a huge "pyramid" that is particularly conspicuous. In front of that pyramid is a very strange looking stone. From its shape, most of the people here can guess that it's a sphinx.
Another shadow was right in front of the sphinx, although only half a body was apparent, they could still see that it's a kaiju. It seemed to be struggling.
"So does the kaiju walk out of that sphinx?"
After getting this information, they reported it to the head of the team, after some discussion, they left that place soon after. The senior officials and head of states quickly received the news.
Now that they know the source of the kaiju, they need to discuss how to deal with it.
It seems that just as they had imagined, under the Grass sea, there is a space Chanel connecting to other worlds. The kaiju came out from that Chanel, and now they know its exact location.
"We can directly blast that Chanel with a nuclear bomb."
This is the method proposed by the representative of the 'Polar Bear' Country. It's simple and ruse, also quite reasonable. Of course, for this event that can affect the entire human civilization, they can't make a hasty decision.
The matter of how to handle this space Chanel has been discussed for more than a month, but they still didn't come up with a final result.
Some people agree with the method proposed by the 'Polar Bear' country representative, but many people expressed their worries about more terrible consequences.
Unfortunately, they don't have any more time. The kaiju that are appearing are getting stronger and more numerous. If things keep going this way, most countries in the world will be exterminated.
Many kaiju are attacking the African continent in a frantic way. Many small countries were destroyed and casualties have reached a frightened 100 million. The African continent has almost become a forbidden area of life.
These kaiju can breathe on land, they can also supplement their consumption by eating humans, making it easy for them to carry out activities on land.
The Kaiju carried out landing operations on South Africa and continued to advance inland. According to this situation, they may completely occupy this continent-if their number reaches a certain level.
The number of kaiju appearing all over the world is also increasing. In just a month, the number of kaiju has almost tripled.
The situation is getting increasingly worse and if they don't take action fast, then humans might face the threat of extinction.
"We must close that Chanel before more powerful Kaiju appears. No matter what!"
