🕑 Added 2020-01-23 14:03:33 +0000 UTCIn front of Fang Yun, a huge creature was moving forward. It's a huge octopus.
After carefully examining it, Fang Yun realized that this is the mutant octopus he encountered fought with in front of the space channel.
He slowly followed the Octopus. At the same time, he activated "Discoloration Camouflage", blending with the surrounding water, making him invisible.
"It looks bigger than before."
Fang Yun carefully examined the octopus ahead. Although there is still a long distance between them, he can still roughly see its appearance. This octopus has really grown bigger.
As he continued following, they gradually swam into shallow water. They are probably around the depth of 100 meters now.
He was still swimming in the depth of the sea, but the mutant Octopus is already near the surface.
"Now that I think of it, where am I now?"
Thinking for a while, he guessed that he should be in the north pacific right now.
However, he isn't sure about his exact location.
"'Huaxia country'? "Sakura country' or some other place?"
In Fang Yun's mind, the name of each country was flashing in his mind. He couldn't help but wonder whether he will see humans or not.
He looked at the giant octopus ahead silently, wondering how to kill it.
According to the system prompt, this giant octopus was able to provide him with 200,000 bio-energy points previously, but now it has increased to 300,000 bio-energy points.
The soaring bio-energy means that this octopus monster has become stronger.
"Hmmm, Should I activate the thunder domain first?"
Fang Yun was hesitating, wondering on how to attack it, this octopus is difficult to deal with after all.
However, Fang Yun saw something that caused him to hesitate.
With a thoughtful look, Fang Yun trailed behind the octopus, waiting for the opportunity to attack.
.....
"Alarm! a single anomalous source was discovered 30km south of DongCang port. According to the detection of the radar, it's the giant Octopus, Kraken."
The sound of the alarm sounded in the street. The crowd walking on the street didn't panic, but orderly walked to the shelter.
In the crowd, Xiao Lan was nervously looking around while following the crowd. After graduation, she was sent to Donggang city to work, coinciding with the large-scale outbreak of mutant creatures.
Others said that she is unlucky, but she didn't resist, she still came to this city to work, even though it's a coastal city.
Not long after, she reached the underground shelter. The enclosed space and the large crowd gave her a sense of security.
She let out a long sigh, then looked at the screen hanging from the ceiling. This screen is currently showing the scene outside.
There is also another screen showing a map. On the map is an eye-catching red dot. Under Xiao Lan, and most of the people in the shelter, attention, the red dot was moving slowly.
"Damn! this octopus monster will come here once every while, it really likes to harass us."
"Yeah, I don't know when the government will kill this monster. Once this monster gathers a bunch of ancient creatures and attack the city. It's estimated that the newly built port will be destroyed again."
Xiao Lan bowed her head while listening to the conversation around.
When the Kraken first appeared, it attacked a city in the East harbor. However, due to the attack of the super Mosasaurus and mutant Elasmosaurus, their country's government was already ready.
Not long after the Kraken attacked the city, it was successfully driven away by the military.
Since that time, this monster has been wandering around all the coastal cities in the country. Sometimes attacking the ports, sometimes attacking the passing ships.
Three months ago. The monster attacked Donggang for the first time but was repelled successfully without many casualties.
Half a month ago, it attacked Donggang for the second time. This time it gathered many ancient creatures. This attack has caused the destruction of the port, along with a large number of deaths and injuries.
The large-scale mutant and ancient creatures outbreak a year ago have caused an unimaginable disaster for humans. In addition to the immense loss of sea trade. The casualties caused by them are in the tens of thousands.
Countless families fell apart.
However, their emergence hasn't caused just disasters.
Some people have discovered that these creatures' flesh and blood can strengthen human bodies. In addition, their bones can act as a super fertilizer, greatly promoting the growth of crops.
'Huaxia' has specially studied this. After grinding the bones of these mutant creatures, adding some other ingredients. It can be sprayed on farmlands as nutrition.
With just a small amount of bone powder, a large area of farmland can be irrigated.
If it weren't for this discovery, 'Huaxia' would have fallen in a food crisis. After all, a lot of their food is imported and with the current condition of sea trade, things weren't looking great for them.
In addition, these mutant creatures have promoted the development of medicine. Some people have discovered" that some special substances in the body of those mutants have healing effects on various injuries and diseases.
"Look! It's our fleet!"
While Xiao Lan was dazedly looking at the ground, an exclamation suddenly woke her up. She quickly looked at the fleet that appeared on the screen.
This is a video broadcasted by helicopter, so they are seeing the fleet from above.
There are three warships in the fleet, moving forward in the shape of an arrow. The one at the front is the largest and most conspicuous.
The camera suddenly zoomed in, giving them a close view of the warship. The deck and the people above are clearly visible to them.
There are more than a dozen people on the deck, all wearing a dark grey military uniform. They are holding a helmet in their hands and looking at a middle-aged man in front of them, seemingly listening to his instructions.
Xiao Lan's gaze swept over these people, finally staying on a beautiful short-haired woman.
"It's captain Zhao Nan!"
Looking at that eye-catching beautiful figure, Xiao Lan laughed happily. This is her idol. A member of the coastal guard and a military officer. She can often be seen patrolling the surrounding waters on warships.
"It's captain Zhao Nan. I saw her in the promotional video shot by the coast guards last time."
"She's really pretty, I don't know if she has a boyfriend?"
"When the Kraken came half a month ago, she was commanding a warship to attack it."
"Look! They are preparing to act!"
Hearing the last sentence, Xiao Lan looked at the screen with wide eyes.
On the big screen, the middle-aged man waved his hand, and Zhao Nan and the others quickly spread around, each going to his post;
Several people, including Zhao Nan, walked towards the three helico^ters parked on the warship.
Xiao Lan watched as Zhao Nan and another man ran to the helicopter labeled "01". After climbing in the helicopter, the propellers turned up and the helicopter flew into the sky.
Three helicopters one after the other rose into the sky, each one of them patrolling over a warship.
After finishing the preparation, all that was left is to wait. Five minutes later, a huge black shadow appeared on the water surface. The crowd in the underground shelter immediately became silent after seeing this shadow.
The Kraken, Appeared!!!
