Chapter 168: The Four Sea Kings
🕑 Added 2020-01-20 20:27:51 +0000 UTCThe super Mosasaurus that appeared in the 'Bald Eagle' country and the mutant Elasmosaurus that appeared in Robles have indicated that the world is ushering in a new era.
The protagonists of this new era are no longer just humans.
Humans' security and their status as the overlord of the planet are seriously threatened.
Now, the media darling is no longer the Giant Sea Serpent. Whether it's the super Mosasaurus or the mutant Elasmosaurus, they are a much better topic to talk about.
Both of these creatures are much bigger and much more dangerous than the Giant Sea Serpent. Both of them are over 100 meters in size and the Giant Sea Serpent is just 30 meters long.
Even more daunting is that the Giant Sea Serpent hasn't appeared in a long time, while these two monsters are causing incidents every day.
In all the world oceans, new ancient and mutant creatures are found every day. People are becoming numb to the constant news of ancient creatures.
"Hey, they discovered another ancient creature."
"Oh"
Conversations like this are very common on the dinner table.
In addition to the super Mosasaurus and the mutant Elasmosaurus. Other ordinary mutant creatures are found every day. It's just that they are much smaller than these two, so they didn't gather as much attention.
At least, they don't have the ability to go on land and attack humans.
This is the era of monsters. Ancient creatures and their mutant counterpart are becoming increasingly common.
Apart from the super Mosasaurus and the mutant Elasmosaurus, two other creatures of approximately the same size were discovered.
One of them is a mutant octopus with nine tentacles, each one is over 100 meters long. Its head alone has a diameter of more than 20 meters.
This monster, just like the super Mosasaurus and the mutant Elasmosaurus, likes to attack people. If Fang Yun saw it, he will definitely recognize it as the octopus he fought with next to the space channel.
The final giant monster is a super sea turtle. Its size is the largest out of the four giant monsters. The maximum length of that giant sea turtle is over 300 meters, and its diameter is more than 200 meters.
The first time people saw it, they thought that it was a moving island.
Among these four giant monsters. The giant sea turtle is the most gentle, it has never attacked humans. It's also very timid, even if it encounters humans who are just mosquito size to it, it will quickly retract its head into its shell.
These four giant monsters are known as the four monster kings. Each one of them occupies an ocean.
The super Mosasaurus occupies the Atlantic ocean, the octopus monster occupies the Pacific ocean, the mutant Elasmosaurus mainly operate in the Indian ocean, and the giant sea turtle never moves out from the Arctic ocean.
Except for the fourth one, the other three are downright murderous demons. They are particularly fond of attacking humans and can even climb on land and attack human cities.
Just like the super Mosasaurus and the mutant Elasmosaurus, the giant octopus likes to attack human cities.
Its first target was a coastal 'Huaxia' city. However, it wasn't as lucky as the super Mosasaurus and the mutant Elasmosaurus. Mainly because its appearance was too late.
By that time, almost all the countries in the world have strengthened their coast defensive strength, and 'Huaxia' was no exception. In the end, the giant octopus was repelled with very few casualties.
At that time, when the giant octopus has just climbed into the coast. It was immediately attacked by military helicopters. Unfortunately, due to its tentacles' strength and elasticity, the bullets bounced off without causing any damage.
However, there weren't just military helicopters there, even artillery was used.
Finally, paying the price of a broken tentacle, the giant octopus escaped.
After the appearance of the four sea kings, they occupied the media headlines each time. Most of the news in the present age is about the discovery of a new ancient creature or about one of the four sea king attacking a ship or a village.
As for the Giant Sea Serpent, it's rarely mentioned anymore.
Even when the world has almost forgotten the Gian Sea Serpent, the 'Bald Eagle' military was still concerned about it.
They are still coveting the defensive ability of the Giant Sea Serpent. Unfortunately, this sea monster hasn't appeared in more than half a year.
They were also wondering if the Giant Sea Serpent has died like what most people on the internet said.
Fortunately, they got some scales from the super Mosasaurus. This monster also has a strong defense like the giant sea serpent.
In the first time the Super Mosausaurus attacked Enseni, they managed to slightly injure it. Of course, it was just a slight injury, especially compared to its giant size.
However, they got some scales from it, slightly comforting the higher-ups of the country.
Without the slightest hesitation, they sent these scales to a special department for analysis. The end result wasn't joy-inducing however, they were left with only disappointment.
The result of the research is that these scales are only composed of calcium and other normal elements. The reason for their strength is their high density.
Those who were hoping to study something that will increase their country's military force could only sigh, and those people who were adamant about capturing the Giant Sea Serpent were ridiculed.
After all, they lost a helicopter and a warship and weren't even able to catch it.
Judging from the scales of the Mosasaurus, the Giant Sea Serpent scales should be the same.
However, some people argued that the Giant Sea Serpent defense is even higher than that of the Super Mosasaurus, so it may have something different.
Even machine guns and sniper rifles equipped with armor-piercing bullets can't injure it.
However, the super Mosasaurus can't resist these weapons without any harm.
Another unusual thing about the Giant Sea Serpent is its ability to sink a warship. How was it able to do it?
Although these arguments gained some support, the military as a whole didn't take it seriously. The fact that they aren't searching for the Giant Sea Serpent anymore proves this.
They are now focused on the Super Mosasaurus and the other mutant ancient creatures.
After the attack of Enseni, the giant Mosasaurus has suffered some losses, so it didn't attack human cities as openly and wildly as before. Right now, it mostly attacks the ships on the sea.
However, it didn't give up on attacking cities. Sometimes, it will climb on land and attack coastal cities, but it will quickly escape after destroying one or two streets.
It's playing guerrilla warfare with the 'Bald Eagle' country.
The giant octopus is doing the same, it's mostly playing guerrilla warfare with 'Huaxia' causing a lot of trouble for them.
Time passed day by day, more and more ancient creatures and their mutant counterparts appeared in the ocean. The originally prosperous fishing industry, as well as the sea navigation industry, have suffered a major blow.
Large scale cruise ships might be safer, but no one dares to joke with their life. As long as one has a little money, they will choose to ride a plane.
As for fishing, small boats going to the sea is no different from suicide, large scales boats also are very dangerous. Few people even dare to approach the ocean in this era.
.................
Far away, on a deserted island in the Indian Ocean, in a dense jungle. Suddenly, the sound of cracking suddenly sounded.
"Crack! Crack!"
This is the sound of wood breaking.
As the dirt and dust fell, a huge behemoth appeared on the ground.
It's a giant python with dark scales. After standing up, the mud, dust and other objects fell from its body, showing shiny scales that reflect light.
This python is naturally Fang Yun.
After a year, he has finally finished his evolution.
Lowering his head, he noticed that his body has become a lot bigger. With eyes shining, he thought internally.
"System, Show me my properties panel."
