Chapter 167: Changes in the World
🕑 Added 2020-01-19 22:32:06 +0000 UTCThe fact that Enseni was attacked by ancient creatures was quickly spread in the world.
Many people woke up to this overwhelming news and were absolutely shocked.
Ancient creatures attacking humans is no something surprising nor has it happened for the first time, but all the previous attacks were on ships on the sea. At most, some ancient creatures will attack people on the beach
However, this is the first time that a group of ancient creatures climbed on land and attacked human cities.
According to the news on TV and on the internet. A group of Mosasaurus led by a super Mosasaurus attacked Enseni city in the night.
According to the computer calculations, this monster has a length of 152.21 meters and a height of 36.32 meters. It's by far the largest ancient creature ever discovered.
"Professor, the video from Enseni came out."
In the office, Hook took a USB flash drive and walked towards Tang Xue. Tang Xue was reading a book on the sofa, hearing Hook. He put down the book and mentioned for him to hurry up.
"Quick, plug it in the computer."
Hook plugged the USB flash drive into the computer's USB port, then clicked a few times on the mouse. He pulled up a video, then clicked on the start button.
On the screen, there is a terrible scene. The faces of the crowd were filled with fear as they were escaping.
Behind them, there are a lot of giant creatures.
These creatures chased the crowd, destroying the buildings on the side, overturning the car on their way. This scene is very frightening and surreal. Even by movies standard.
Both Hook and Tang Xue watched this scene with solemn faces. These ancient creatures are irresistible for ordinary humans without weapons.
"Xiao Hu, is there a video of that giant Mosasaurus?"
Tang Xue's throat rolled, his eyes slightly teared up. Although these people aren't his compatriots. They are still humans. Seeing these tragic scenes, even a stone-hearted man will feel unbearable.
Not long before, he saw a four- or five-year-old girl running helplessly on the street, shouting "Mom" loudly, but the next moment, she was bitten in half by a Mosasaurus, then swallowed whole.
"Yes teacher"
Hook responded somberly. He swiped the progress bar. Showing an incredibly huge monster.
"This……"
Suddenly seeing such a thing. Even an old professor like Tang Xue was shocked. That giant monster looked very similar to the other Mosasaurus, slowly moving forward with its flappers like legs.
But its size is extremely appalling.
In this scene. The super Mosasaurus was standing next to a ten-story building. However, that building only reached its mouth. That monster is even taller than a 10-story building.
"According to the computer calculations, this giant Mosasaurus is 152.21 meters long and 36.32 meters high."
Hook said softly to Tang Xue. Tang Xue didn't respond, he just watched silently as these monster wreaked havoc in the city.
Suddenly, several helicopters appeared in the video then started attacking the super Mosasaurus.
"Da! da! da! da!"
Countless bullets were fired from the helicopter's machine guns, but the next scene was astonishing.
Those bullets landed on the giant Mosasaurus scales, but only managed to create sparks. Not a single bullet was able to penetrate that monster's defense.
This super Mosasaurus is even scarier than Godzilla and other movie monsters.
"Roar!!!!"
After being attacked, the super Mosasaurus let out a deafening roar. It jumped up and bit a helicopter than was more than a 100 meter high.
With such a huge body, tremendous strength and super defense, this giant monster was able to wreak havoc in the city, destroying many buildings and killing countless people.
At the end of the video, this giant Mosasaurus and his younger brothers returned back to the ocean after destroying a quarter of the city.
Watching this video from the beginning to the end, Tang Xue was silent for a long time. He leaned back on the sofa and rubbed his brows, his face filled with exhaustion.
Neither of them spoke, this video has affected them a lot. Especially Tang Xue who has watched it for the first time.
Previously there were ancient creatures. Now there is their super counterpart. Not afraid of bullets and even artillery, this monster is almost a natural disaster.
Only High-powered weapons such as missiles can deal with such monsters.
However, this incident happened in a densely populated city. High-power thermal weapons are not so easy to launch. There are many things to consider.
Tang Xue is currently thinking whether this super Mosasaurus is the only mutant creature in the ocean. If there are more creatures like it, then that would be really bad.
He really hopes that his thoughts are just unfounded fantasies and that the super Mosasaurus is the only mutant creature in the world.
Unfortunately, his fears aren't just a fantasy.
Shortly after the attack on the 'bald eagle' Enseni city. Many giant creatures like the super Mosasaurus have been discovered in the sea.
Coastal cities in various countries are also under attack.
For example, Robles.
This country is even more miserable than the 'Bald Eagle' country. Their territory includes some archipelagoes, and those archipelagoes were completely wiped out by the army of ancient creatures.
After all, this country's military strength is not very good, adding to the fact that these archipelagoes are quite remote. These archipelagoes were exterminated overnight, with all the people on them getting killed.
Even scarier is the fact that the ancient creatures found near Robles are in the hundreds, much more than the 'Bald Eagle' country.
In the face of these monsters' attacks, they didn't even have the power to fight back.
It wasn't just this country that was attacked. 'Sakura' country, 'Polar Bear' country, etc... All of the countries that are near Robles were attacked.
In addition, ancient creatures even appeared on the land of 'Huaxia'.
However, due to sufficient preparation and the fact that the ancient creatures that attacked it weren't much. They were able to repel them without a lot of casualties.
Although these ancient creatures attack didn't affect humanity as a whole. It caused a tremendous blow on humans' marine trade.
The economies of all countries have been hit hard.
Regarding the tragedy of the human world, Fang Yun didn't know about it. He is currently waiting not far away from the space channel for a creature to get out.
Recently, more and more ancient are drilling out of the space channel. Even mutants are becoming quite common.
He doesn't dare to stay near that space channel anymore. A few days ago, while he was fighting with a mutant creature, another mutant drilled out from the space channel.
These two mutant creatures joined hands to attack him.
During that time, his situation changed from an overwhelming advantage to a slight disadvantage. If a third mutant were to drill from the space channel at that time, then his situation will become even worse.
So he decisively fled away. With his speed, even without activating "Wind Shadow" these two mutants couldn't even see his back.
After that battle, he didn't dare to say near the space channel.
He is currently about 3 kilometers away from the alien civilization relic. The light over there can't reach this place so he can only rely on his tongue to perceive the surrounding situation.
As more and more ancient creatures came out from the space channel, Fang Yun's bio-energy grew very fast.
About a month later, Fang Yun had enough bio-energy to start his 21st evolution.
"I really want a new skill."
Before falling asleep, Fang Yun's mind was filled with this thought.
The mutant creatures aren't just getting more numerous, they are also getting stronger. Although he is quite strong himself. He doesn't really have a proper mean of attack.
"It would be best if it's an attack skill."
Fang Yun though internally, getting more and more sleepy.
A few moments later, he fell into a deep sleep.
Of course, he can still feel the movement around him. His subconscious can detect any danger and quickly wake him up.
Although Fang Yun was prepared to sleep for a long time, even he didn't expect that this evolution would last a year.

don't you hate it that you expect to sleep for a few hours and wake up noticing half a day has passed
