Chapter 166: The Giant Monster
🕑 Added 2020-01-19 12:53:53 +0000 UTCA dozen people walked slowly on a gloomy street. It had just rained, and the atmosphere was filled with cold, most people were wearing coats.
"Now for our daily news. At 8 o'clock this morning, a fisherman has caught a very large fish in LongHai. According to an expert identification, this is fish that lived in the Triassic era..."
Li Zhi looked up at the display screen erected on a building. A news host was talking about today's news.
Suddenly, a gust of cool wind blew, causing him to tighten his jacket.
"Huan, They have discovered another fish from the Triassic era. Counting this fish, this is already the seventh ancient creature."
Luo Huan was looking at the display not far away. He frowned after hearing what Li Zhi said.
As a biology student, he was very excited after the first Giant Sea Serpent and the Mosasaurus appeared.
However, as more and more ancient creatures were discovered, his excitement disappeared, replaced by panic and a bit of fear.
These ancient creatures came from different eras. There is also a lot of them, just in the territorial sea of their country, they discovered no less than 7.
If all the ancient creatures that have been discovered around the world are counted, it would be over 100.
Those creatures that should have disappeared in the long river of history have now returned in large numbers.
What is the reason for these creatures' reappearance?
Li Zhi and Luo Huan glanced at each other, shook their heads and continued moving forward.
Most of the people around the world have the same thoughts as Li Zhi and Luo Huan.
After the initial excitement had passed, only worry remain in everyone's mind.
This supernatural phenomenon. People can't understand it nor do they know the reason for its occurrence, and this unknown is exactly the source of worry and fear of the people.
Of course, they don't really fear these ancient creatures. They are mostly worried about their source. Whether it's aliens, a special mutation or some other reason. It's not very good for humans.
Most of these ancient creatures aren't that scary. Even fishermen with fishing nets have captured a lot of them.
However, an incident that happened in the following days has caused humans to completely panic.
...
It was about nine o'clock in the evening. The sky was completely dark. A small car was slowly moving not far away from the beach in a seaside city, in the 'Bald Eagle' country.
Not long after, the car suddenly stopped. A blad black man walked out from it, walked towards the side of the road, unzipped his pants and started relieving himself.
"Psss"
The man sang a song cheerfully, while the sound of water landing on the ground was very obvious.
The man suddenly saw something from the corner of his eyes. Subconsciously turning around, he looked blankly at the sea surface.
With the help of the moonlight, he saw the master of the black shadow.
It's a crocodile-like giant beast.
"Wait a minute!"
The black man's body suddenly shook, almost splashing piss on his pants. He looked at that giant monster, then shouted loudly.
"Isn't that the Mosasaurus? It's just like the one I've seen before!"
His eyes were shining. That time when the Mosasaurus was killed in the grass water, then transported back by their country. He saw it. Both in reality and on TV.
The warship carrying the Mosasaurus body docked in their city. So he was watching with excitement as that ancient monster's body was carried by a special vehicle.
He remembers that the Mosasaurus body was already rotting. Even with such a long distance between them, he was still almost choked to death.
However, he still clearly saw the appearance of that Mosasaurus. He also saw a lot of its pictures on the internet.
Therefore, he can clearly pat his chest and declare with confidence that that monster not far away is definitely a Mosasaurus.
"This should be the second Mosasaurus that was discovered, and I'm the first one that saw it."
He muttered excitedly, just as he was about to pull up the zipper, then take a photo of the Mosasaurus. The next scene he saw has completely woke him up from his drunkness.
He watched with wide eyes as more and more shadows appeared on the sea surface. All of which were Mosasaurus.
With just a cursory look, there are no less than fifty of them.
Even if he was drunk, he knew that something was wrong. All of these monsters were moving in this direction.
"What are they going to do?"
The black man took a deep breath. He quickly ran towards his car, but when he looked back, he saw something unbelievable.
Not far behind these 50 Mosasaurus, a huge bump appeared on the water surface. Not long after, a behemoth appeared on the water surface.
"Tha...That is……"
The black man felt his heart almost stopped.
The behemoth that appeared behind that Mosasaurus group was an enhanced Mausasaurs, a super version to be exact. Super thick limbs, a thick armor on the back and an incredibly large head.
Judging by its size, it's bigger than a warship!
"How could such a thing even exist?!"
The black man shouted crazily. That Mosasaurus is more than a hundred meters long. Even if it stood still and did nothing, it can still give people unparalleled shock.
That's not to mention that it's leading more than 50 younger brothers and walking towards the beach.
He can't stay here anymore! He quickly turned away, got into his car, pressed on the pedal and drove off.
...
Enseni is a seaport city in the 'Bald Eagle' country, with a population of over one million. Because of its special location and specialties. It's one of the most important cities in the entire country.
The prosperity of this city caused it to be filled with noise at all times.
Even at night, some prosperous streets were filled with crowds going back and forth.
Especially on Gran Via.
This is the most bustling commercial street in Enseni. The night market usually lasts until 11 pm.
Right now, it's about 10 pm, but the street is still filled with pedestrians.
"James, come and help me with my bag."
"Kelly, can you please explain to me, who is that guy next to you?!"
"I heard that the movie called "Lorraine" which was released recently is very good. Maybe we should check it out later."
The people in the streets were talking in pairs, making the street full of noise.
In such a dense crowd. Most people won't be able to hear what someone no far away from them is saying, due to the loud noise.
However, a loud bang suddenly sounded. Silencing more than half of the crowd.
"Bang!!"
A car fell from the distance. Landing on the ground, rolling a few times before stopping. In the process, a giant dust cloud was created.
"This……"
This surreal scene caused the crowd to stay in their place like a wooden duck, mouth wide open.
What happened? How could a car suddenly fall from the sky?
The crowd's questions were soon answered.
"Boom! boom!!"
Along with the sound of giant walking, the earth was trembling.
The crowd held their breaths and looked fixedly at the place from where the sound was coming from.
A huge monster suddenly appeared in everyone's eyes.
