Chapter 160: Danger Is Approaching
🕑 Added 2020-01-14 18:31:17 +0000 UTCIn front of an office window, the middle-aged commander, McGonagall looked at the calm sea outside with a look of anxiety on his face.
From the time when the giant python has destroyed the helicopter, killing 3 of his subordinates. he has been looking for it. Unfortunately, their search hadn't had much success.
Right now, he's hesitant on whether to terminate this operation. After all, searching for python in the ocean is very time and money consuming. His superiors are beginning to become dissatisfied.
If he doesn't have any result in the following days, then he can only terminate the operation.
However, he isn't reconciled.
That giant python's super strong defense ability is very attractive to him and the country. If they could research some type of defensive product based on the giant python's scales, then their country's military strength will go up a level.
That monster's defense is very exaggerated. It was able to resist 2 helicopters machine guns at the same time without any injuries. Those machine guns were equipped with armor-piercing bullets. Turning a tank into a sieve is very easy for them.
"Knock! Knock!"
While he was in the midst of his thoughts. The knocking from the door woke him up.
"Come in."
McGonagall forced himself to calm down, then said gently.
A soldier opened the office door, walked in, then closed it. He gave a salute to McGonagall, then said with a smile.
"Sir, we finally got news about that giant python."
"what?"
McGonagall was surprised. He thought that his superiors were dissatisfied again and sent a soldier to urge him. He didn't expect that it's news about the giant python.
"Explain in detail."
The soldier walked in front of McGonagall, placed the laptop he was holding on the table, then started a video.
"Sir, please look at this."
McGonagall watched the video carefully, after seeing it all, he was stunned.
"Sir, according to the tracking position of our satellite, this giant python is moving towards the grass sea."
The soldier operated on the computer a few more times, this time he bought up a photo.
It's a map showing a red dot moving from a place to another.
"Send warships immediately."
McGonagall took a deep breath and said.
"This python must be captured this time."
"Yes, sir!"
The soldier nodded seriously, saluting his leader one more time, he walked out of the office.
...
After swallowing the whale, Fang Yun followed the route in his memory and headed towards the grass sea. He is going towards the ruins of the alien civilization he saw last time.
When he first strayed into that place. He watched some scenes projected by that sphinx. He couldn't watch the complete video though due to a splitting headache.
At that time, he guessed that it was because his mental energy isn't strong enough. He is planning to try again. He wants to see the complete video.
This evolution took him three months.
In the beginning, it went very smoothly. However, he didn't expect that someone will land on the desert island he was evolving on.
More importantly, those guys also found him.
Fortunately, his evolution was almost finished. He directly scared those guys into escaping and he left shortly after.
It's also worth mentioning that his reputation has surpassed 1 billion points. Opening the second bloodline to him. Unfortunately, he can't use it now. He has to evolve his current bloodline to the limit before doing so.
After raising his level to 20, Fang Yun received 19 skill points, plus the 11 skill points he received after his reputation value reached 1 billion points, counting the 3 points he has left from before. He has a total of 33 skill points.
He used 15 skill points to max out the "Quick Regeneration" skill, then he used his remaining points to upgrade the skill "Shadow Wind" that he has never upgraded before.
After upgrading this skill, he experimented with its power and was shocked.
Just after one upgrade, this skill has increased his speed to a horrific point.
He estimated that his speed after activating this skill has reached more than 400km/h.
His speed has more than doubled.
Of course, this skill has a very obvious disadvantage. That is its excessive energy consumption.
After using this skill for less than 20 minutes, he felt like a dried noodle. He didn't even have the energy to move. Only after a long period of rest was he able to move again.
"I don't know if this skill will ever be used."
This skill is a bit useless for him now. Just his usual speed is vastly above all the creatures in the ocean, including the mutated monsters. He doesn't need more speed. He doesn't know about the future though.
In addition, after this evolution, his body length has reached 42 meters, with a diameter of 1.5 meters. He looks very stout.
Thinking about it now, he has always wanted to be a muscular snake.
He can be said to have finally achieved his goal. Thinking of this, Fang Yun couldn't help but smile.
Suddenly, Fang Yun noticed a strange electromagnetic wave in the water. Animals are extremely sensitive to electromagnetic waves, and Fang Yun is no exception.
He immediately swam to the water surface, then looked around. He quickly noticed the ship not far away.
"That's ... a warship."
Fang Yun immediately became alert after seeing the warship.
The previous experience with the helicopter has made him very alert to any military equipment, including warships.
While watching the warship not far away, his pupils suddenly shrunk. He felt extreme danger from that warship.
Type 52C is a destroyer with a length of more than 150 meters and a width of about 18 meters.
McGonagall stood straight in front of the cockpit window, looking at the slightly rippling water in the distance.
After getting the news of the giant python. He decided to come and oversee the python capturing plan himself. He can't wait any longer.
However, since losing the track of the giant python a while before. They couldn't find it even after searching for such a long time.
"Are we going to fail again this time?"
A look of anxiety appeared on McGonagall's face.
"Sir, we found the giant python."
Suddenly, a soldier that was staring at the screen in the command room shouted loudly.
McGonagall quickly walked towards the soldier after hearing that. He looked down at the display in front of the soldier, only to see that on the striking image of a giant python.
"Sir, the giant python is not far ahead."
The soldier's voice was filled with excitement.
"The sonar on our ship also found it."
"Attack it with the canons. No! directly launch a torpedo!"
McGonagall suddenly remembered that ordinary shells are useless for the giant python. The python will directly escape if they attacked it with shells. By that time, it would be very difficult to find it again.
Might as well launch the torpedo directly.
Even if the giant python is killed. It will be worth it as long as they get its body.
Hearing the leader's order. A soldier quickly operated the commands, then pressed an eyes-catching red button.
The next moment, the torpedo was launched.
"Bang!"
Fang Yun quickly sank back underwater and fled towards the distance after feeling the danger.
His muscles tightened, and he instantly activated the skill "Shadow Wind".
