Chapter 179: Studying The Giant Sea Serpent
🕑 Added 2020-02-01 13:49:46 +0000 UTCDiscussion on the Internet about who is the strongest monster continued. The previous vote ended up as a joke. The Kraken is the loser!
So, is the giant Serpent the strongest monster?
Some people think that since the Giant Serpent has defeated another monster king, it deserves this title, but some people don't think so.
The reason everyone voted for the Kraken was that, on the one hand, there were many 'mainland Huaxia' people voting for it, and on the other, everyone thought that it has killed the Giant Serpent.
But that doesn't seem to be the case now.
The strength of the octopus monster was overestimated, so if even if the Giant Serpent defeat the Kraken, it doesn't mean that it could defeat the other monster kings.
"It would be nice if the five monster kings fight each other."
Someone typed on the Internet.
This is difficult. Although the oceans are connected, they are too large. They have almost no chance to meet. The encounter between the giant Serpent and the Kraken was purely an accident.
However, some people are seriously thinking about this possibility. They have made many suggestions. The five monster kings can be lured into a certain place to start a battle between them.
Some people think that the big countries on Blue planet can join forces to drive these five monster kings together—Super Mosasaurus, mutant Elasmosaurus, and the giant turtle need to stay on the water surface to breathe.
The Giant Serpent is likely the same.
Using this weakness, these monsters can be driven together.
There are too many bored people on the Internet. Some people gave nicknames to these monsters.
The king of the Atlantic Ocean, super Mosasaurus. The king of the Pacific Ocean, Giant Serpent. The king of the Indian Ocean, mutant Elasmosaurus. The king of the Arctic Ocean, super turtle. Finally, the king of the Antarctic, the Kraken.
Based on this, some people collectively call them the Five Sea Kings. Some people with brain holes even claim that they are products of the Atlantis civilization.
The person who posted this didn't expect it to spur a giant debate. Many people sprung on the internet with their own claims and theories.
Fang Yun, as one of the protagonists of this debate, didn't know any of this. He is currently swimming forward in a random direction.
Because of his frequent hunting, he would swim to the surface from time to time, this led to some people to lock his location.
After Carlos sent that video to the internet, the 'Bald Eagle' military used two satellites to lock the general area of the Giant Serpent activities, and no long after they locked its location.
The two warships that set off from Okinawa now have a goal. They headed towards the Giant Serpent location without any hesitation.
These two Burke-class destroyers are more than 150 meters long, more than 20 meters wide, and have a displacement of more than 9,000 tons.
The two warships reached the area where the giant serpent appeared, about 500 nautical miles southeast of 'Sakura country'
The warships quickly moved forward, they got real-time satellite photos, and at the same time, the sonar radar on the ship has locked the target.
According to the information they got, the giant serpent is about 5 kilometers ahead.
The warship stopped at that place and sent two drones for investigation. Their purpose this time is not to capture the Giant Serpent.
The defense of the Giant Serpent is indeed more abnormal than that of the super Mosasaurus, but this doesn't attract their attention anymore. They had already obtained some of the super Mosasaurus scales, but according to the research results. It's composed of normal materials, it's just that they are abnormally dense.
There are no special elements doped in it, so it doesn't benefit them in any way.
The giant serpent is likely the same.
However, this still need some research. Its defense is more powerful than that of the super Mosasaurus after all, what if it was more special?
The mission of these two warships is to observe the various habits of the Giant Serpent and to find if there is anything special about it.
After the investigation of the two drones.
They really discovered something special about the Giant Serpent.
From the footage transmitted by the drone, the giant serpent is quickly chasing a mutant Melville whale.
The latter's body is forty meters long. At first glance, it's extremely muscular with a swollen head and very sharp teeth. Normally it's a monster that spells fear, but now it's running like a rabbit from the Giant Serpent.
This is not what surprised the 'bald eagle'. After all, the giant serpent could defeat the Kraken, chasing a Melville whale is not that surprising.
However, a blue arc suddenly appeared on the giant serpent body, then quickly spread to the surrounding. The mutant Melville whale trembled for a while, then flopped over to its belly.
The giant serpent quickly swam towards the whale, bit its tail, then dragged it away.
The giant serpent disappeared, leaving only the endless blue water on the screen, but the people watching this footage stood still, a stunned look on their faces.
The giant serpent can discharge?
It seems that the voltage is not low. Although the Melville whale was not electrocuted to death, it's not far away from it. This is for a sea monster that is more than 40 meters long, a human would probably directly die.
This footage was sent back to the headquarters by the people on the warship. If they are going to attack this Giant Serpent later, they must guard against this.
For the next few days, the two warships monitored the giant serpent with two satellites and discovered another shocking feature.
"Is this monster's stomach a bottomless pit? It's hunting every day, and it's devouring every prey it killed!"
Well, in addition to the ability to discharge, the Giant Serpent has a very strong digestive ability.
In addition, the people on the warship discovered that apart from killing and eating prey, the Giant Serpent likes to bask in the sun. Especially after discharging.
Does it bask in the sun to recharge itself?
This conclusion was labeled as absurd.
There are quite a few creatures in nature that have the ability to discharge, such as eels.
They all replenish their energy by resting or eating. There hasn't been any instance of a creature having the ability to convert solar energy into electric energy.
Such a thing is basically impossible. Unless the Giant Serpent is carrying a solar charger with it.
Such a discovery is unacceptable. Some people explained this action as the Serpent using the sun to warm its body and using the ultraviolet lights to kill parasites.
After all, every time the Giant Serpent hunts, it sinks deep underwater, then attacks prey with electricity.
Its behavior of basking in the sun should be to get rid of parasites and raise its body temperature.
So, there shouldn't be any connection between the behavior of basking in the sun and its discharging ability.
This statement is very reasonable, but the researchers on the warship didn't hastily come to a conclusion. They need more evidence.
While the 'bald eagle country' was observing the Giant Serpent behavior and abilities. The giant turtle in the Arctic has attracted some people's attention.
Someone has discovered a secret on the sea turtle.
This discovery is much more explosive than the discovery of the Giant Serpent discharge ability.
