Chapter 177: Hirota's Video
🕑 Added 2020-01-30 13:23:20 +0000 UTCAt eight o'clock in the evening, Li Zhi made a cup of coffee for himself, then sat at the computer desk and started surfing the Internet.
He has faded the innocence of youth and looked much more mature than before.
He has graduated from school and has been struggling in society for more than a year.
LI Zhi doesn't have any hobby, nor is he interested in group activities. After getting off work, he usually goes back directly home, then watches some videos or surf the internet.
He is quite interested in the news of the monsters in the sea.
After more than a year. He doesn't look at these monsters with an excited and curious look anymore. This is the era of monsters after all.
The number of sea monsters in the ocean is absurd. They are as common as cats and dogs these days.
He also saw the vote about the strongest monster king a few days ago. His first impression of this event is that these people are really bored.
However, he still paid attention to this event every day.
"Did the Kraken win?"
Seeing the final winner and the analysis of why it deserves the title of the strongest monster, Li Zhi looked dissatisfied. He disagrees with the result of this poll.
In fact, in his opinion, the title of the strongest monster should belong to the giant turtle.
The turtle is by far the largest out of the four monster kings. Its shells' defensive power is also exaggerated, far surpassing the super Mosasaurus and the mutant Elasmosaurus scales.
As long as it retracts its head into its shell, the other three monsters' kings combined won't be able to hurt it.
However, the sea turtle's guts are too small. It's also very gentle. From the time it settled in the Arctic ocean, it hasn't caused a single incident.
To sum up, it doesn't have a strong sense of existence, nor does it have the domineering spirit and the aggressiveness required for the title of the strongest monster.
From this point of view, the title of the strongest monster is a bit inappropriate for it.
Li Zhi shook his head, no longer bothering to care about the results of this poll. He started searching for news about the Giant Serpent on the internet.
He is convinced that the Giant Serpent that fought with the Kraken is the same Giant Sea Serpent that fought with the Giant Megalodon on the grass beach almost two years ago.
At that time, he was still in college. He loved watching Jonny's live broadcast with his good friend Luo Huan.
He was watching the exploration of the sunk Island Mary when they saw the battle between the Giant Sea Serpent and the mutant Megalodon.
Previously, the giant sea serpent has disappeared for over a year. Even Li Zhi felt that it should be dead.
However, to his surprise, it appeared again.
After seeing the video of the battle between the Giant Sea Serpent and the Kraken. Li Zhi felt the long lost feeling of blood boiling and excitement.
So these days, he is basically searching for any news of the Giant Sea Serpent, seeing if anyone has found it.
"Oh?"
Suddenly, Li Zhi discovered a piece of news about a fisherman encountering a Giant Serpent while fishing in the sea.
He said that their mutant swordfish was eaten by the Giant Serpent.
"real or fake?"
Li Zhi raised his eyebrow, a bit skeptical, but he still played the video on the news webpage.
At the beginning of the video, the voice of many people sounded, these people's voices were filled with joy. The camera shook from time to time while showing a pulley and an iron cable extending into the water.
A few people were pulling the iron cable using the pulley. The other end of the iron cable was plunged into the water vertically. The iron cable was very tight, it looked to be dragging something.
As time passed, the iron cable was pulled further by the pulley. A huge black shadow appeared on the water surface, then was slowly pulled towards the ship.
"It's really a swordfish."
In his free time, Li Zhi will search for the news of all kind of sea monsters. That caused him to have some knowledge about them, especially the famous and memorable ones.
He has seen quite a lot of creatures with memorable characteristics, including swordfish. So he was able to recognize at first sight that it's indeed a swordfish.
However, according to what he knows, normal swordfish is only a few meters long. This one in the video is over 10 meters long, far more than an average swordfish size.
It's indeed a mutant swordfish.
"It's quite rare."
Li Zhi thought that this swordfish is worth more than 10 million dollars. If it's sold, then it's enough for these fishermen to live in ease for 10 years. Thinking of this, Li Zhi was a bit envious.
However, shortly afterward, after the fish was pulled out of the water.
A huge shadow suddenly appeared next to it.
Originally thinking that it was another clickbait. He just watched the video with a boring mentality.
However, when he saw that giant shadow on the water surface, he immediately stood straight, looking seriously at the video.
To his dismay, after the appearance of the giant shadow, a terrified scream rang, then the camera started tilting, finally pointing at the ground.
"This……"
Li Zhi's mouth twitched, resisting the urge to smash his keyboard. He opened the comment section. Sure enough, it was filled with complaints about the camera pointing at the ground, or not showing them the true face of the giant shadow.
In the end, however, everyone had different opinions.
Is that giant shadow the giant serpent? Without mentioning that the video is of very low quality, the moment when the giant shadow was about to reveal its true picture, the camera shifted.
This video quickly caused a sensation on the Internet. According to some people investigation, this video came from 'Sakura country'.
This video has especially caused madness in 'Sakura Country'
The giant serpent is not dead, and it's in the north pacific, right newt to their country!
People on the mainland 'Huaxia' side are also worried. They are not far away from 'Sakura country'. If the giant serpent is active near the 'Sakura country', then their sea area should be within its range of activities.
The most important thing right now is to confirm whether that black shadow is the Giant Serpent or not.
"It's absolutely it!"
Li Zhi saw the interview with the person who shot this video. The man looked very anxious and kept insisting and swearing that it was the Giant Serpent.
"I don't know why it didn't attack our fishing ship."
In response to the questions of the journalists, Hirota said solemnly in front of the camera.
"Maybe the mutant swordfish was enough for that monster, so it didn't attack our ship."
If sea monster don't attack ships when they are full, there won't be so many sunken ships.
The explanation of Hirota was full of holes, many people were skeptical of that explanation.
Whether it's the super Mosasaurus, the mutant Elasmosaurus, or the Kraken. They will certainly attack ships when they are hungry. They will eat all the human bodies after killing them all.
However, sometimes even if they aren't hungry, they will still attack human ships. In fact, as long as they see human ships, they will most definitely attack them. They are super aggressive and fierce, hence their reputations.
Unless this Giant Serpent posses the same temperament as the giant turtle in the Arctic. Gentle and mild.
Otherwise, Hirota's explanation is pure lies.
Obviously, everyone thinks that the temperament of the Giant Serpent is similar to that of the Kraken, not like the giant turtle.
When everyone was questioning Hirota's explanation, another accident happened in the north pacific, attracting the attention of the world.
It also fully prove that the Giant Serpent is still alive.
However, this accident has raised a question in everyone's mind.
