Chapter 135: Sunken Ship
🕑 Added 2019-12-10 14:39:53 +0000 UTCFang Yun was swimming freely in the sea, sometimes swimming to the surface then jumping out of the water and sometimes diving to a depth of a few kilometers.
Speaking of it, he had great luck this day.
A great white shark, a sperm whale, and a giant squid.
These three big monsters gave him a total of 40,000 bio-energy points. Most importantly, it didn't take much effort. That's in stark contrast to the effort he spent on catching the sardines.
Unfortunately, in the following period, Fang Yun didn't find much prey. He didn't even find a small fish school, He couldn't help but wonder whether finding these three big monsters caused him to spend all his luck.
However, in the evening, Fang Yun found another prey.
He was wandering around in the 300 meters underwater area when he suddenly discovered a strange smell. Without hesitation, he followed the smell to its source.
After swimming for almost 3 kilometers, two big fish appeared in front of him.
These two big fish belong to the same species. Both are flattened laterally, resembling a fish head with a tail. They looked quite fat and a bit weird.
They are both about the same size, about 5 meters in length with almost the same height.
Once Fang Yun stared at these two fish, the system's prompt sounded in his mind.
"Target locked, sunfish, Chordata, Molidae, can provide 1500 bio-energy points."
After hearing the system's prompt, Fang Yun nodded internally.
When he saw these two big guys before, he guessed that it was a sunfish and the system's prompt confirmed his conjecture.
He had heard about this kind of fish in his previous life, it's quite a strange fish, looking a bit fat and mostly like a fish head swimming around.
Suddenly, one of the sunfish suddenly found Fang Yun and was very shocked. The other sunfish also detected Fang Yun after its companion.
Fang Yun's huge figure obviously gave the two sunfish pressure, causing them to turn around and escape as soon as they reacted.
"You can't escape!"
Fang Yun thought excitedly. With a bang, he sprang like an arrow towards the two fish. He caught up with the first one in less than half a minute, slapped it with his tail, crushing its bones, then quickly ran towards the second one and killed it.
These two sunfish provided him with 3000 bio-energy points. They didn't give him the slightest challenge and were crushed like insects, but this isn't a surprise, considering his power and the clumsiness of these sunfish.
He did not leave this area, but dived even deeper, looking for any sort of prey. After a while, he encountered another fish.
This time he encountered a lantern fish.
After devouring it, he continued to dive even deeper. To be honest, he is actually quite curious about what extent can he dive into. Although he knows, from the system, that he can easily dive to 10,000 meters underwater, he wants to experience it himself.
What kind of reaction will his body have when he dives to 10km underwater, will he feel nothing as the system said?
While thinking about this, Fang Yun continued diving even deeper.
The water of the deep sea was surging. This is a place that the sun rays can't light. All around is extreme darkness.
Fang Yun powerful sight lost its meaning here, he can only distinguish the surroundings by smell, relying on his sensitive tongue.
In the depth of the ocean, there is not only the overwhelming sea pressure but also the never-ending darkness. This isn't a place where conscious creatures can live, or even stay for a long time. Just the overwhelming darkness is enough to make people crazy.
Fang Yun's steel-like will and powerful spiritual attributes gave him the qualification to live here. Ordinary conscious creatures, like humans, can go crazy if they stayed in this place for an extended period of time.
However, even so, Fang Yun still felt a little depressed while moving in this darkness.
Some luminous creature will pass by Fang Yun's side from time to time, illumination the area around him, but this didn't bring the slightest comfort to him.
Because these lights not only illuminated him but also exposed him to the darkness around, so he actually distanced himself from these luminous creatures, staying near them is not a wise choice.
Staying near these lights can cause people to have some dependence on them. If they ever lose them, that will cause psychological pressure to them, which will only cause more and more stress.
Fortunately, Fang Yun tongue can accurately capture the surrounding situation around him, so although he felt a little depressed, he wasn't really stressed or nervous.
He still kept away from these glowing creatures though.
He is regarding the deep sea as his best shelter, so he is going to see what reactions his body will have to the pressure at 10,000 m deep.
While diving even deeper, Fang Yun tried to estimate at what depth he was. His estimate is way off the mark probably, but he just needs a rough estimate.
He should be around 4000 meters underwater now, for the exact depth, Fang Yun was not sure, but it doesn't really matter. He also reached the ocean floor at this time.
It looks like the maximum depth at this area is 4000 meters. Examining his body, he didn't feel the slightest pressure, he felt that he can dive much deeper than this.
So he began to swim forward, looking for a place like a trench.
About 5 kilometers ahead, a basin-like area appeared in front of him. He noticed a downward trend in the gravel beneath him.
Fang Yun swam forward for another kilometer before stopping. This time, he found something unusual.
Not far ahead, a bright light appeared.
It's a kind of pale green fluorescence, which should be the light from creatures like bugs.
Fang Yun approached that light and found a shipwreck over there.
The general appearance of the sunken ship can be clearly seen. It's about 100 meters long, not an ancient ship, the steen plates and other kinds of metals can be clearly seen. It should have sunk just a few years ago.
The ship is quite rusty and covered with various phytoplankton on the bottom. Fang Yun got quite the gloomy vibe while watching it.
The surrounding water is slightly turbid. It should be caused by too many planktons. Even if there is a large number of glowing creatures, a large area of the ship is still covered with large shadows.
This sunken large ship looked quite spooky, just like being inhabited by ghosts, coupled with light green fluorescence and the endless darkness around, It looked just like a ghost ship from a horror movie. The average person will be scared speechless if he were to see it.
Of course, as a giant python and a monster himself. Fang Yun wasn't scared or intimidated after seeing this ship, he was just a bit curious about it.
Fang Yun circled around the shipwreck and found nothing special about it. However, he discovered a huge trench just below it.
