Chapter 134: A Big Harvest
🕑 Added 2019-12-08 22:50:51 +0000 UTCFang Yun's body was suspended in the dark water, watching the battle in front of him with wide eyes.
About 100 meters in front of him, two creatures are fighting.
One of these two creatures has a fish-like body, more than 15 meters long. Its body is very mismatched, with a large head and a small jaw.
When Fang Yun stared at this giant beast, he felt a domineering spirit from it.
At the same time, the sound of the system sounded in his mind.
"Target locked, sperm whale, Mammal, Physeter, can provide 20,000 bio-energy points."
This giant fish-like creature is a sperm whale.
Sperm whales are the largest toothed whales in the ocean. They have a very obvious feature. Their head is particularly large and their diving ability is particularly strong. They can dive the deepest and longest amongst mammals.
An adult sperm whale can dive 2000 meters below sea level and stay there for almost 2 hours.
However, these whales are very rare. They are hunted a lot due to a secretion in their intestines named ambergris, which is a very expensive material used for making perfumes or traditional Chinese medicine. This material can even reach as much as 20,000 dollars per kilo, so it's not very surprising that they are hunted a lot.
Unexpectedly, Fang Yun actually met a sperm whale. More importantly, it can provide 20,000 bio-energy points. This is the creature with the highest amount of bio-energy he found so far.
After examing the sperm whale, Fang Yun looked at the other giant.
It was a squid, a huge squid.
Its ten long tentacles wrapped around the sperm whale. It used its suckers held tightly on its flesh, causing it to have many bruises and small scratches. The bloody smell he smelled before came from these small scratches.
The sperm whale kept rolling and struggling, trying to shake off the squid latched on it. This trashing created a large number of fluctuations in the water.
Fang Yun immediately recognized the identity of the big squid latched on the sperm whale.
Giant squid.
This creature is the second-largest invertebrate in the ocean, the first one is the colossal squid from the same family.
This giant squid is actually very huge, Fang Yun estimated that if it unfolded its tentacles, it should be even longer than the sperm whale.
According to the system's prompt, this giant squid can also provide him with an amazing 15000 bio-energy points.
If he swallows these two giant creatures, he can get 35,000 bio-energy points.
Thinking of this, he couldn't help but get excited, he stared closely at the two giant creatures not far away.
This sperm whale has some glowing parasites latched on it, so Fang Yun can clearly see the two giants fighting even in the dark water.
These two giants are among the top predators in the ocean, but when it comes to strength, the sperm whale is stronger.
However, sperm whales have a fatal shortcoming. They are mammals and breathe with their lungs, so they have to swim to the surface every one in a while to breathe.
In a battle at this depth, the longer the fight lasts, the worse the situation will be for the sperm whale.
This sperm whale is very aware of its situation, so its attacks are becoming more and more fierce.
It swayed its head fiercely, madly trashing, stirring the surrounding water. The squid couldn't hold on anymore and was fiercely thrown to the side.
After the sperm whale got freed, it opened its huge mouth and was about to bite the giant squid.
Suddenly, the giant squid spits a large amount of back ink, blocking the sight of the sperm whale.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, the giant squid quickly fled to the distance.
Its speed is very fast, crossing at least ten or twenty meters per second. In just a few seconds, it opened a distance of almost 100 meters from the sperm whale.
While madly fleeing, it suddenly noticed that something is wrong.
"Bang!"
With the sound of water tearing apart, a huge dark shadow appeared not far away from the Giant squid.
It approached the giant squid at an alarming speed and bit its tentacles.
Due to the sudden pain. The giant squid, enraged, wanted to attack this creature with its other tentacles.
However, the moment the mysterious creature bit the giant squid, that is Fang Yun, he quickly injected his venom into its tentacles.
The giant squid is indeed very large, but in front of the venom of Fang Yun, it's nothing but a joke.
Moreover, his venom can also cause intense pain. The giant squid just managed to wrap its tentacle around Fang Yun, as a result, it couldn't stand the intense pain and started to roll around.
Fang Yun just hovered aside quietly, waiting for the death of the giant squid.
However, not long after, a huge shadow appeared next to the giant squid.
It's the sperm whale.
After the sperm whale appeared, it stopped moving. It was obviously shocked by the size of Fang Yun, he is 2 times longer than it after all.
Fang Yun didn't waste this opportunity. While the whale was still stunned, he quickly rushed towards it.
When he reached the whale. He lowered his head, intending to attack from underneath.
Compared to the bulky sperm whale, his body is more slender and naturally more flexible. More importantly, after each evolution his agility and flexibility have increased, so even if his size is so huge, he is still very flexible.
Don't mention this bulky and clumsy whale, even if compared with much smaller snakes and python, he is not inferior.
When Fang Yun reached underneath the whale, he realized that this whale is planning to attack him with its tail. He decisively retreated, then quickly swam above the whale, right above its neck.
Without the slightest hesitation, Fang Yun bit down on its neck.
His sharp fangs easily penetrated the whale's thick skin, then injected his venom into its bloodstream.
To be honest, he has not used his venom for a long time, but whether its the giant squid or the sperm whale, he shouldn't treat them lightly. Although he can still kill them by using just his physical abilities, but it will take quite some time and there is the risk of one of them escaping.
Using venom is the fastest and safest way.
After injecting his venom, Fang Yun retreated to the side and waited for the sperm whale to die.
The venom inflicted great pain on the sperm whale, it struggled frantically on the water, trashing madly. Its mouth was filled with white foam.
After Fang Yun watched for both of them for a while, he swam towards the squid that was already on the verge of death, then finished it. He swallowed the giant squid beginning from its head like a long noodle.
After eating the giant squid, Fang Yun swam toward the sperm whale and killed it with the same method as the giant squid.
Later, Fang Yun dragged the huge body of the sperm whale to the surface and ate it.
This sperm whale is very large, so it took some time to eat it. He naturally couldn't swallow it, so he tore it into large chunks before eating it.
It took about half an hour before completely swallowing the sperm whale.
Fang Yun didn't stay here. After eating the two giants, he chose to leave, swimming towards other areas.
