Chapter 133: The Giants Hidden Underwater
🕑 Added 2019-12-07 23:14:49 +0000 UTCAfter Fang Yun swallowed the sardines caught in the fishing net. He left the boat and the poor sailors without scaring them any further. He plans to continue following the sardine school.
By now, his bio-energy has reached 415,300 points, which means that less than 200,000 points remain until the next evolution.
He flicked his tongue underwater, determining the direction where the sardine group has escaped to. After which he didn't hesitate to follow them.
After moving for about 10 kilometers, the overcast clouds above gradually disappeared, replaced by the bright moon. The night sky wasn't as dark as before, making the surroundings much more visible.
Fang Yun finally caught up with the sardine school, but he didn't immediately attack them.
He noticed that the school of sardines became much smaller, It may be that this fish school split up in the previous area.
Fang Yun was a little depressed. He attacked the sardine school a few more times, obtaining between 3000 to 4000 bio-energy points. With each collision, sardines will separate from the fish school and flee in different directions, causing the school to get smaller with each collision.
Seeing this, Fang Yun was too lazy to chase them. Even if he ate this entire sardine school, he will only get about 40,000 bio-energy points. Now that they are separated, following each small group individually is not worth it.
That's without mentioning that he is beginning to get tired, he has been following this sardine school for more than a day, attacking them again and again, then eating their fallen bodies. Doing the same monotonous and repetitive work for more than a day is not only quite boring but also quite stressful.
This time he didn't bother to go back to his nest, the small island, but just floated on the water surface, half-asleep and half-awake. With his current spiritual strength, any small noise or movement is enough to wake him up, so he isn't really worried about his safety. That's without mentioning that few things in this world can kill him.
Time slowly passed, and soon, lights began to spill from the horizon. The sun rose up, signaling the start of a new day.
Fang Yun gradually opened his eyes. He had a momentary confusion and grogginess from waking up from sleep, but after shaking his head, it disappeared. He looked at the vast sea for a while, then his eyes sharpened.
"It's time to hunt."
Fang Yun dived in the water and stabilized at the depth of 100 meters, this layer has the most prey.
"I have been in the sea for so long but I still didn't meet a single whale."
Whales are generally more than 10 meters in length, even 20 meters. The amount of bio-energy they provide certainly isn't small. Unfortunately, they are very rare.
While swimming underwater, he occasionally met a small fish or a shrimp. For these small, single-digit bio-energy creatures, he disdains to eat them.
After swimming for about two hours like this, he suddenly stopped and looked ahead.
Not far ahead, a black shadow was swimming towards him, it's a huge fish.
This big fish has a very fierce look, dark eyes, sharp triangular teeth. Its several rows of teeth looked especially scary.
About 6 meters long, with a grey back and white belly. From a human standpoint, it looks terrifying.
While Fang Yun was staring at the big fish, the system's prompt sounded in his mind.
"Target locked, great white shark, Chordata, Lamniformes, can provide 5000 points of bio-energy points."
Although he had already speculated, the system's prompt confirmed his guess.
This big fish is indeed the famous great white shark.
The great white shark is a very powerful and ruthless hunter. Due to its cruel natural, scary look and huge body, it has been made into several famous movies and a lot of games and novels, becoming famous across the world.
Of course, no matter how powerful and famous the great white shark is, Fang Yun won't be afraid of it, nor will he pity it. He has already considered it as his snack.
Without any hesitation, he swam straight ahead.
The great white shark in front of him was a little stunned when he saw Fang Yun. Fang Yun's huge body scared the hell out of him, he immediately turned around and prepared to flee.
Great white sharks are very fast, they can reach a speed of more than 60 kilometers per hour, but Fang Yun is much faster. Half a minute later, Fang Yun caught up with the great white shark and bit its tail.
The great white shark struggled fiercely due to the pain, it even managed to break its tail, after which it struggled to swim away.
Fang Yun obviously won't let it escape, he quickly caught up and bit on its body.
After eating this great white shark, Fang Yun did not leave. He sank deeper into the water and patiently waited.
Sure enough, three sharks that smelled the bloody smell came here.
Fang Yun will naturally not let the meat that entered his mouth leave, so he hunted all of them.
However, these three sharks are only three meters long so they provided much less bio-energy than the great white shark. These three sharks provided a total of 6800 bio-energy points, which is actually quite good.
"Sure enough, eating large prey is more comfortable."
Fang Yun let out a sigh of satisfaction. It's worth mentioning that the sharks that he just ate aren't the three that were previously following him.
The three sharks that had been following have disappeared. Fang Yun has no idea where they went, but it's likely that they are still following the sardine school.
He waited for another ten minutes in this place, seeing that no shark has come here, he turned around and continued his journey.
He flicked his tongue in the water, trying to find the smell of suitable prey.
As long as any creature passed by this path not long ago, then it won't be able to hide from him.
He continued to search for prey while traveling for three hours before finally detecting a peculiar smell. Without hesitation, he began tracking it to the source.
This smell is very faint, which means that the creature that emitted the smell is far away. He didn't dare to swim too fast, as that would make him lose it. He swam at a moderate speed, following the track of that mysterious creature.
About three minutes later, Fang Yun reached a place where that smell is particularly clear. In addition, he smelled another weird smell.
In fact, he felt the second smell before reaching this place, he just didn't expect that the two creatures that are emitting them to be in the same place.
According to his identification, these two smells are coming from underwater.
He is now about 100 meters deep. That means that the two creatures are even deeper underwater.
According to their smell, these two creatures are not from the same species.
Fang Yun straight underwater; The fact that they could survive that deep underwater, plus the fact that their smell spread so far indicate that these two creatures are big guys.
The more he swam down, the stronger the pressure became and the darker the water turned. At about 500 meters deep, the water is already very dark.
This layer is already in the depth of the ocean and few creatures can live here.
The deeper he saw, the more obvious the smell became, it's also mixed with a faint bloody smell.
Are these two creatures fighting?
After discovering the smell of blood, Fang Yun couldn't help but think of that;
When he reached about 1km underwater. He stopped moving, staring at the two creatures 100 meters away from him with wide eyes.
