Chapter 129: Sardines
🕑 Added 2019-12-02 15:02:44 +0000 UTCIn the early morning of the next day, Ham got up a little late, which is related to his insomnia last night. Seeing that he is the only one on the bed, his parents should have woke up long ago.
The temperature of the bed was quite low.
He quickly got up and opened the door. He naturally noticed the figure of his father in the yard, inspecting the fishing nets.
Saying good morning to his father, Ham began preparing for the next expedition. More specifically, checking if he did forget anything. He started preparing for this moment long ago.
He quickly finished his preparations, his father has also finished inspecting the fishing nets. Gathering all of their stuff, they said goodbye to Ham's mother and walked out of the door.
"Nick, Ham, remember to be careful and come back safely."
At the gate, Ham's mother said to them worriedly.
Ham and his father waved their hands at her, then walked towards the beach, where their boat was parked.
On the boulder-covered trail, the grass is growing on both sides. Dewdrops are hanging on the leaves. The sun has not completely risen yet, just half of it can be seen in the distant horizon.
It's red, but the light is not dazzling at all, people can watch it with the naked eye.
This sunrise scenery is actually very beautiful, but neither Ham nor Nick have any intention of watching or appreciating it. They don't really care about these artistic things. Besides, they have already seen this scene many times.
In their opinion, the most important thing is fishing.
On the way, Nick explained to his son the precautions for going fishing in the sea. In fact, he didn't remember how much he repeated this to his son, but he is still going to say it again anyway.
Ham wasn't annoyed as usual, but listened honestly and remembered these things by heart.
It's finally time for him to go out to the sea and his longing for adventure caused him to be unable to wait.
"Nick? is this your kid?"
On the seashore, a fishing boat was docked. There were a few people on board. When Ham and Nick approached, one of the men looked up and shouted at them.
"Yes."
Nick laughed as he stepped on the fishing boat, "He is fourteen years old, this is his first time going to sea!"
"Oh, is he undergoing his adult ceremony?"
All the people on the boat stopped what they were doing, then looked at Ham, "Ham, rest assured, this time we will definitely help you bring a lot of fish back."
"You will definitely marry a beautiful wife."
On this small island, according to tradition, if someone is undergoing his adult ceremony, then he is the protagonist on the boat, all the others are supporting characters.
Everyone will try their best to help him catch more fish.
Ham was a bit embarrassed by the enthusiasm of everyone. Fortunately, he has a dark complexion. Otherwise, his blush will definitely be seen and laughed at.
Nick patted Ham's shoulder, then got on the boat and started the final preparation before setting off, inspecting the various tools and machinery. He has to make sure that nothing is broken or missing. A small mistake on the sea can result in casualties.
Ham stayed alone in front of the fishing boat and examined it with his eyes.
This is a second-hand fishing boat bought by his dad and a few friends, they even had to borrow money from the bank to make the full payment. Ham wondered if his father has repaid the bank or not yet.
This fishing boat is about 20 meters long and more than 4 meters wide. It has a complete set of facilities, including a refrigerated room, a lounge, and a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
"Ham, we have to go."
Suddenly, Nick shouted from the boat. Ham woke up from his daydreaming and quickly climbed on the boat. Along with the roar of the engine, they set off towards the sea.
Just as Ham started his sea adventure, On the coast on an uninhabited island far away. rustling sounded from a bush. Not long after, a huge creature stuck its head out from the dense forest.
It's a huge python.
The huge python glanced at the surrounding scenery before slithering along the beach and entering the ocean.
Roughly estimating, this huge python is more than 30 meters long.
This giant python is naturally Fang Yun.
He wandered around in the water, feeling quite comfortable. He goes out to hunt every day, sometimes watching the sunrise, sometimes playing in the water. His life is very leisurely and chic.
In addition, with his huge size and enormous power, he doesn't have to be afraid of encountering any natural enemy in the sea. More importantly, he isn't the previous 10-years lived python, having to worry about his short life every day.
He has now 150 years in front of him, with a lifespan more than most of the creatures in the world. So he is very leisurely.
After wandering around this area for a bit, Fang Yun went to "Horseshoe" island, but even after searching this place for a while, he did not find a suitable prey;
Without bothering to stay here, he simply chose a random direction and swam in that way.
It's easy to get lost in the sea, but Fang Yun doesn't need to worry about it. As a Bashe python, he has the special ability to determine directions.
After swimming for a long time, Fang Yun met a fish school.
According to the system's prompt, Fang Yun learned that this is a school of sardines, with a particularly large number. Anyway, Fang Yun couldn't even estimate how much fish there is in this fish school.
However, these sardines are relatively small, most of which are ten or twenty centimeters long, their bio-energy is also pitiful, in the single to early double digits.
Fang Yun has been following this sardine school, attacking it from time to time.
Each sardine can provide a small amount of bio-energy, but there is an extremely large number of them. Fang Yun is too lazy to look for other prey so he decided to follow them.
Every day, he gets more than 30,000 bio-energy from this sardine school, which is more than what he usually gets.
Apart from being easy to hunt, this is the reason why he kept following this sardine school.
Three days later, Fang Yun is still following the sardine school, they had crossed a long distance. It's worth mentioning that s shark group started following him a while ago.
There are three sharks in total.
This shark group will pick up what he left behind. He usually smashes into the sardine school and knocks a lot of fish to the ground, sometimes he doesn't catch all the fish that fell and these sharks take advantage of that.
These three sharks have benefited from a lot along the way.
Fang Yun did not immediately attack them; He hopes that this shark group will get bigger and bigger. He wants to have a big shark meal after finishing with these sardines.
