Chapter 128: Preparing to Enter the Sea
🕑 Added 2019-12-01 00:08:45 +0000 UTCHam sighed with regret in his heart, but he still did not dare to stay here. He quickly swam in the direction of the boat.
Not long after, standing on the boat, he stared at the place where he found the clam.
Was the thing he saw before a monster?
However, the more he tried to remember what he saw, the more obscure the images in his mind became. He is really skeptical, was that really a hallucination?
After a short while, Lehman and the rest returned to the boat, everyone happily gathered together and started to talk.
"Ham, what's wrong with you, did something happen?"
Nadal was holding translucent stones with a variety of colors, red, green, yellow, etc... He was looking at them with excitement as they reflected the sun-rays.
These are his trophies.
After admiring them for a while, Nadal looked up and looked at the other boys. He suddenly discovered that his friend, Ham's face was somewhat wrong.
"haven't you discovered any treasure?"
Nadal thought that he had understood Ham's worries. "Don't worry, this kind of thing is based on luck. Maybe you will find a beautiful shell next time, heck even a pearl is possible."
"No Nadal, I found a good looking Conch"
Ham took out beautiful Conch. Seeing the Conch in Ham's hands, Nadal's eyes widened in surprise.
He was still wondering why Ham's face was wrong, but now he totally forgot about that, his attention was attracted by the Conch.
Ham opened his mouth and wanted to tell Nadal what he had experienced before, hoping that he would help him analyze what would have happened.
However, after some hesitation. In the end, Ham didn't say anything. He is afraid that Nadal will laugh at him.
After all, he was frightened by a "non-existent" creature.
After thinking for a while, Ham decided to leave this thing behind, it was probably just an illusion.
On the way back, the huge black shadow still lingered in Ham's mind, he couldn't just forget it.
While Ham and his companions were returning back to the shore. Hidden in the trench, a huge creature was leisurely swimming.
"Well, That would be another white tip shark."
Fang Yun swallowed the white tip shark with one gulp, satisfied as this shark provided him with 1200 bio-energy points.
By now, his bio-energy has reached 265,200 points. In the past two days, his harvest has been quite plentiful, gathering about 20,000 bio-energy every day.
As long as he keeps this pace, then he will be able to evolve in about 10 days.
As long as he is lucky enough to meet a fish school, this time can be shortened even further.
After wandering around the trench, Fang Yun ate another white tip shark and several big fish. In addition, he caught a turtle.
It's a leatherback turtle with a body length of three meters, which provided Fang Yun with 2,000 bio-energy points. This turtle is considered as the largest turtle in the world, so it's not unexpected for it to provide so much bio-energy.
"It seems that eating turtles is also a good choice."
After tasting the sweetness, Fang Yun wondered if he could eat them regularly. He knew that most turtles live solitary all year round, but during the mating season, they would go ashore in large groups.
"If only I could find these turtles mating place."
Thinking of that kind of scene. hundreds of turtles climbed from the sea to the beach, just when they started mating, Fang Yun will rush out from the sea and start a feast.
If every turtle provides him with as much bio-energy as this leatherback turtle, then a few hundred up to a thousand turtle can provide him with million of bio-energy.
If that truly happened, don't mention this evolution, it would be sufficient even for the next one.
He really wants to know where is the breeding place for turtles, but unfortunately, it's not that easy.
Fang Yun is still going to search anyway, finding this leatherback turtle here means that there may be other ones nearby, as long as he keeps an eye on them, it's possible to follow one to their matting place;
Moreover, judging from the current weather, it's very warm outside, so these turtles mating time is not far away.
Of course, Fang Yun won't just focus on searching for turtles mating place, he is still going to carry is normal hunting activities.
While thinking about this, he quickly swam back towards the desert island he regarded as his habitat. He didn't forget to catch a few fish along the way.
When he returned to the island, the sky has already dimmed and night has fallen.
Fang Yun climbed into the island, entered the jungle, then began to rest.
..............
While Fang Yun returned to his habitat to rest, Ham has returned to his home after a day of playing.
His home is a wooden house. Several long tree poles hanged in front of the door. They are used mainly to dry fishing nets.
When he got home, he heard his mother's voice, as if she was talking with someone.
Seeing this, his eyes brightened.
"Father is back!"
He quickly opened the door and ran into the living room. Sure enough, he saw his father's figure in the lobby, a short but strong middle-aged man wearing a yellow vest.
Ham immediately jumped over and hugged him. There was still a fishy smell on the man, but he didn't mind. He hadn't seen him for almost a month, so he had been very worried.
Their father and son relationship is very good. Ham's father kept asking him about his affairs while his mother was putting the food on the table. During their conversation, Ham's father learned about his son graduating from school, after which he told him that he can join his fishing crew.
Ham's mother looked quite worried, but Ham himself was very excited. Although deep in his heart, he was quite nervous.
Fishermen like his father usually goes hundreds of kilometers deep in the sea. In that kind of place, there is nothing but the vast sea.
If they had an accident happened, then that would be the end. They can only wait for death amidst fear and despair.
But adventure is the nature of a boy of his age, so even if he was a bit nervous, he didn't worry very much.
At night, Ham slept together with his parents.
When the moonlight came in from the window, Ham couldn't sleep even though he was lying next to his parents. The scene he saw in the trench kept flashing in his mind.
Sometimes he thinks that there is a monster in the trench, sometimes he thinks it's an illusion.
The interweaving of these two ideas made him very confused.
"Father."
He shook his father next to him gently, to which his father responded with a lazy "hum". He told him what he saw in the trench and asked for his opinion.
"Ham, you must have seen it wrong."
His father replied to him with a drowsy voice. "There isn't a fish that big in our area."
He treated the monster in Ham's mouth as a big fish. Obviously, this man who often went to the sea didn't believe in the existence of monsters.
Ham was planning to continue this topic, but hearing his father's snoring, he gave up.
Was that thing really an illusion?
Ham looked at the full moon outside the window with a confused look.
