🕑 Added 2019-11-28 17:35:19 +0000 UTCHearing the first half of the sentence, Lehman couldn't help but get anxious. However, a smile appeared on his face after hearing the second sentence.
"Two days later, I will go to the sea with my dad."
Lehman smiled at Kofi and her girlfriend, "After coming back, I will bring a lot of fish."
"Lehman, if you don't catch enough fish this time, Kofi won't marry you."
The girl next to Kofi said earnestly. "Kofi will only marry the best person in the village."
"Rest assured, no one is more powerful than me, Lehman."
Lehman said proudly, patting his chest.
The nearby Ham got agitated after hearing Lehman's oath, thinking that his crush, the girl he had loved for many years was about to be snatched away, and still right in front of him. A burst of anger and sadness filled his chest.
He had the urge to fight with Lehman at that moment, but in the end, he could only stare blankly at the fire. He is not Lehman opponent, and suddenly attacking him like that with no reason will leave him with a bad reputation.
After that conversation, he looked like he had lost his soul, carelessly eating the fish in his hand, but he couldn't even feel its taste. He didn't even listen to the conversation of his companions.
"Let's go to the sea to search for treasures."
Suddenly. Lehman, who was sitting next to Kofi, suddenly stood up and said to Ham and the other boys. "After the undercurrent in the trench, some good things should have drifted to the bottom of the water near the island."
After his voice fell, the other boys in the group also looked excited. They yelled excitedly and ran towards the beach.
"Ham, let's go!"
Nadal pulled the lost Ham next to him and ran towards the beach.
Ham woke up from his reverie, remembered what they were going to do, and quickly followed his companions to the beach.
"Lehman, Nadal, be careful!"
In the shade, Kofi and her girlfriend shouted at Lehman.
"Kofi, I'll give you another pearl after coming back."
Lehman's voice came from far away, and by this time he had already arrived at the beach with the rest of the boys.
They did not stupidly jump into the sea, but walked to a fishing boat docked on the harbor and jumped into it, one by one.
This fishing boat is an old boat replaced by Lehman's family. It’s very old, but it can still be used, only be used in offshore areas though.
Lehman didn't even think about driving this boat to the depth of the sea, that would be stupid.
They are going to drive this fishing boat to a place one or two kilometers from the coast, then jump into the ocean from there.
Several children drove the fishing boat and soon arrived at their destination.
Above the sea.
"Ham, here, your diving goggles." Next to him, Nadal handed Ham goggles and an exhalation tube, then he put on one himself.
After taking it, Ham thanked Nadal, who had already put on his diving goggles and stuffed the exhalation tube into his mouth.
Both he and Ham looked at the underwater situation.
In the area where they are located, the depth of the water is about 10 meters. the permeability is particularly good, so they can clearly see the situation underwater.
Under the water, there are rock formations, clusters of small and soft plants, such as algae, and shrimp-like small creatures and small fish constantly passing by.
There are also some places with small raised reefs where palm-sized fish can be seen playing around.
"I will anchor the boat first, you can go ahead."
While Ham was looked at the transparent water, Lehman's voice sounded. Ham turned around and watched as Lehman threw the anchor into the water, then jumped into the water, grabbed the anchor and swam toward a rock.
A breeze was blowing at sea level. If the boat doesn't get anchored quickly, then it wouldn't take long for it to disappear.
"Ham, I'll go down first."
Nadal turned around and said to Ham, then without waiting for him to respond, he quickly jumped into the water.
With Nadal taking the lead, the other two boys also jumped into the sea, leaving only Ham on the boat.
"Ham, don't you dare go to sea?"
After fixing the anchor to the bottom of the water, Lehman swam to the surface, planning to return to the boat. Naturally, he saw Ham who was still on the boat and was looking at the water.
He immediately ridiculed him.
"Lehman, I went to the sea countless times, why would I be afraid."
Ham yelled uncontrollably. He was a bit angry. As a child of a fisherman, furthermore living on an island. He doesn't know how many times he went to the sea, how could he be afraid?
"Damn, I won't lose to you."
Ham thought resentfully in his heart. Without any hesitation, he jumped into the water.
After wandering around underwater, he quickly swam to the surface. Looking around, he saw that Lehman was swimming towards the trench.
They are currently about 1 kilometer from the trench.
The closer they get to the trench, the more dangerous it will become. However, there will be more treasures. beautiful stones, colorful shells ...
If they are lucky, they can even find beautiful pearls inside the shells.
Ham has never found a pearl, despite his numerous diving attempts.
Leaning his head down, Ham looked at the situation at the bottom of the sea, his exhalation tube was exposed on the water surface, mainly to watch the underwater situation and breathe freely.
The water here is so clear that he can easily see the situation underwater.
He saw a lot of beautiful little fish and some small corals.
"I have to pick a very special shell, golden or pink!"
Thinking in his heart, "The best situation is finding a purple shell."
Such shells are as rare and precious as pearls.
Not far ahead, Nadal and the other two boys have stopped advancing, they stopped at a distance about 500 meters away from the trench, going forward anymore will be dangerous.
However, Ham noticed that Lehman didn't stop like the other but continued advancing.
"That guy, does he really want to find another pearl?"
Seeing Lehman constantly approaching the trench, Ham was a bit dissatisfied. If Lehman found another pearl, then Kofi might just directly marry him.
"I'll first give a pearl to Kofi, then go to the sea with my father and catch a lot of fish."
Ham fantasized in his heart. As long as he did these two things, Kofi will surely look at him in a new light, she certainly would not marry Lehman.
"Ham, don't swim too far."
Nadal, who was constantly looking underwater, suddenly raised his head and just happened to see that his good friend Ham was swimming toward the trench.
He was taken aback. He hurriedly spat the exhalation tube out of his mouth, then shouted at Ham.
Hearing the shout of his best friend, Ham stopped and replied to him. "Nadal, I'm looking for something, rest assured, I won't be dragged into the trench."
After saying this, he continued swimming forward.
In the back, Nadal looked stupified. He doesn't understand why Ham, who is usually afraid to approach the trench, suddenly swimming right towards it.
