Chapter 145: The Turtles Massacre
🕑 Added 2019-12-22 00:56:59 +0000 UTCFang Yun did not care about the pair of mother and daughter on the beach, the reason he jumped out of the water was to catch a fish.
After swimming in a circle around this island. Fang Yun choose a direction and swam forward for 20km. After moving for a certain distance, he smelled a strange smell.
And this smell is relatively familiar.
"It's the smell of turtles."
Fang Yun was surprised. He had eaten turtles, so he is quite familiar with their smell. He didn't expect to find this familiar smell again in this place.
"Broom!"
Without the slightest hesitation, Fang Yun sprang like an arrow. After following this smell for a few minutes, an island appeared in front of him;
The smell of turtles emanates from this island.
Approaching the island, Fang Yun discovered that the beach of this island was covered by a large number of turtles. They were clustered together, filling a large area of the beach.
"I finally found you."
Fang Yun had given up on searching for these turtles a while ago. After all, he searched for a long time without any results, but he didn't expect that he would encounter them while they are mating accidentally.
In fact, he has passed next to this island many times, but he didn't find the slightest traces of these turtles.
However, thinking about it, this group of turtles should have just come here to lay their eggs. This island should have been empty before, hence why he didn't discover anything while passing next to this place.
Fang Yun didn't bother hiding. He quickly swam to the beach, which alerted the turtles. Without giving them any chance to react, he started massacring them.
The turtles that live here are not very big. The biggest ones are not as big as the one he saw that day, most of them are about one meter in diameter.
These one-meter-long turtles can only provide him with 1000 bio-energy points.
But Fang Yun was not disappointed. There are a lot of turtles there. He estimated that there are roughly 300 turtles on the beach.
In other words, as long as he completely swallows up this group of turtles, he can get more than 200,000, or even more than 300,000 bio-energy points.
Of course, this is a bit unlikely. A lot of turtles will escape after seeing him. These turtles aren't slow, and more importantly, they are very close to the ocean. They can probably escape to the ocean in 10 seconds.
"Crunch!"
Fang Yun's sharp teeth bite on the head of a turtle that was escaping to the sea. The turtle's limbs struggled for a short moment, then laid motionless on the ground.
He didn't swallow the turtle directly, the other turtles are escaping.
After killing a turtle, his eyes landed on the other escaping turtles.
Five minutes later. The turtles that came to lay their eggs in this place either laid on the ground, dead, or had escaped to the sea.
Looking at the more than 100 turtle bodies lying on the beach, Fang Yun swallowed them one after the other.
Most pythons and other types of snakes don't usually swallow turtles. After all, their shells are very hard to digest; Fang Yun, on the other hand, doesn't have this concern at all. His powerful stomach acid can easily dissolve the hard turtle shells.
It didn't take long for all the turtles on the beach to enter Fang Yun's stomach; This hunting has provided him with more than 130,000 bio-energy points.
That's more than the mutant lanternfish.
"I can finally evolve."
Looking at the bio-energy on his property bar, Fang Yun's heart was in a pleasant mood. This is actually his slowest evolution since he became a snake.
The previous times where he took quite long to evolve were because of his travels. If he focused solely on hunting, he would have quickly evolved.
This time, it's different. He has focused solely on hunting, but it still took him a long time to evolve. That's without mentioning that he is in the ocean, a prey-rich place.
Fang Yun slithered back to the sea, then continued moving forward, he is going to search for the island he previously lived in.
After returning to that desert island, he will start his evolution.
Swimming for more than ten kilometers, he finally recognized the environment in this area, getting a rough idea of where the desert island is.
The desert island he used to live in is quite far from this place. He estimated that it should be around 150 km away.
After swimming for more than two hours, Fang Yun finally returned to the desert island. Slithering back to his nest, he immediately said to the system.
"Evolve!"
The moment he said that. A tingling sensation appeared in his body, which he didn't care about. He has experienced this way too many times.
However, one thing surprised him.
At this moment, a special feeling appeared in his mind; A very special "Sleepy" feeling, just like what he felt while upgrading his bloodline.
"Will I fall asleep this time, just like when I experienced bloodline evolution?"
Fang Yun thought that it's very likely, but after the brief surprise, his state of mind slowly calmed down. This desert island is very suitable for his evolution, not only is it remote, but also covered in vegetation.
It will be very hard to spot him under the cover of the vegetation.
Thinking of this, he laid down peacefully. At the same time, the special "Sleepy" feeling grew more and more. Finally, he fell down into that weird "Sleep" state;
