Chapter 142: Soaring Bio-Energy
🕑 Added 2019-12-17 22:50:43 +0000 UTCAll of the crew members on the island Maru stared nervously at the battle of the two monsters, they were all clenching their hands and praying that these two monsters don't notice their ship.
Among these people is Masahiro Yoshida.
"Noda-senpai, will we be all right?"
At this moment, he has already forgotten his previous thought of bringing the news back to the human world, all he wants to is to live.
"Yes, yes."
Taro Noda was also pale at the moment. Not long ago, he was still bragging about how lucky they are, but thinking of it now, they are not lucky, but very unlucky.
Otherwise, how could they encounter such monsters that only exist in science fiction movies?
After hearing Taro Noda's words, Yoshida breathed a sigh of relief. Just as he wanted to say a few more words, the scene where the giant fish escaped towards their ship caused him to almost collapse.
"NOOO"
He squealed with fright, all the other crew members were also screaming with fear and despair on their faces.
All they could see is the constantly approaching giant fish and giant teeth in its mouth.
"We're Gonna Die!!!!"
The deck of the island Maru was filled with seafarers squealing with fright while running around.
At this time, a sailor ran behind the harpoon gun, aimed at the giant fish and attacked it.
The harpoon flew out and collided heavily with the bones armor at the head of the fish. The harpoon barely managed to penetrate the head of the fish, with only the tip entering it.
The giant fish fiercely shook its head, easily throwing the harpoon away.
The next moment, it accelerated, even more, leaped up and slapped the island Maru with its tail. Most of the sailors died in this collision.
Such a huge force caused the island Maru to tilt to the left, it looked like it's going to overturn. The giant fish landed back into the sea and quickly fled away.
"Bang!"
The violent collision between the fish and the water created a huge wave. Without any care about this, the giant fish fled to the distance at a speed of 100km/h.
It's hard to imagine that such a huge monster has such a speed. It's even harder to imagine that such a terrible monster is fleeing for its life right now.
"Splash!"
Behind the giant fish, with the sound of water breaking, Fang Yun followed it closely behind.
This lanternfish can provide him with 100,000 bio-energy points, he can't let it escape.
As for the sinking Island Maru behind him, he didn't care at all.
One minute later, he caught up with the lanternfish.
The bone armor on the back of the mutant catfish is very hard, even Fang Yun teeth can hardly scratch it.
But its abdomen is relatively soft, his teeth can easily penetrate it.
After catching up with the mutant lanternfish, Fang Yun dived underwater and rushed to the giant fish's abdomen;
Feeling that Fang Yun is approaching it, the giant fish attacked him with its giant scaly tail.
Fang Yun originally wanted to dodge, but in the end, he gritted his teeth and continued bitting towards the fish's abdomen.
He's planning to change an injury with an injury.
"Slam!"
The Lanterfish's tail smashed heavily on Fang Yun, the sharp spurs on it penetrated Fang Yun hard scales without hardly any difficulty.
However, Fang Yun also managed to bite on the giant fish's belly.
At the moment he inserted his teeth in the fish's belly, he shook his head fiercely, tearing a large piece of meat from the fish.
The lanternfish struggled madly, it violently pulled its tail from Fang Yun's flesh, creating a large wound.
Fang Yun twitched a bit because of the violent pain.
However, he felt a tingling sensation in his wound, greatly relieving his pain.
He knows that this is due to "Quick Regeneration" healing his flesh.
While relaxing slightly, he swam to the side and watched as the giant fish slowly passed away.
The giant fish's abdomen was torn open, creating a huge wound there. its internal organs have fallen from its belly, its blood is madly spurting, dyeing its surroundings with the red color.
This lanternfish doesn't have the abnormal regeneration ability of Fang Yun so it can only struggle helplessly as its vitality slowly dissipated.
Gradually, the lanternfish struggle became weaker and weaker, Fang Yun went up and opened another huge wound, completely kill it.
After that, Fang Yun tore it apart and started a feast.
Almost twenty minutes later, he completely swallowed the fish, obtaining 100,000 bio-energy points.
By now, he has more than 530,000 bio-energy points, it won't take long for him to evolve again.
"Yes, I remember seeing the bodies of two humpback whales near that human ship."
Based on the principle of not being wasteful, Fang Yun returned to the place where he fought the mutant lanternfish before. Sure enough, he saw the bodies of two humpback whales floating on the sea, a big and a small one.
In addition, the Island Maru had sunk into the sea, a lot of people floated on the sea. However, most of them are dead.
Of course, Fang Yun discovered several people with a weak vital signal. Unfortunately, it would be hard for them to survive in this vast sea without quick rescue.
Fang Yun didn't care about those people either. He swam straight to the two humpback whales and devoured them.
After eating the two humpback whales, Fang Yun gained another 25,000 bio-energy points. Giving this place a final look, he swam to the distant horizon.
