Chapter: 109 Creating The Fake Monster
🕑 Added 2019-11-12 18:26:10 +0000 UTCSalman sat in his office, except for him, there was no one there.
When he thinks about important matters, he doesn't like people to bother him, so the rest of the team is in another office.
After arriving at Pudaga Forest Park, Sandler's subordinate prepared two offices for them to use.
The thing that Salman is so deeply thinking about, right now, is what kind of monster props to make.
On the Mississippi Lake, things like the facilities for diving and lake tours are being built right now. In fact, they are easy to build, so this is not the problem that he should be thinking about now.
The reason why he suggested diving and lake tours in Mississippi Lake is because these two don't need many preparations.
Now, he needs to create a fake monster. At the official opening of lake Mississippi, they will send a diver deep underwater to shoot the water "monster".
This water "monster" must be shocking visually to gather enough attention from the media and the people.
Even after pondering for two days, he still couldn't conceive the perfect monster image that he is looking forward to, which made him very anxious.
"No, I can't keep going like this, I need to relax first."
Salman took a sip out of his coffee and took a deep breath, standing up from his rotating chair, he paced in the room.
"This fake monster must be big and have a terrifying look. It must at least achieve the effect of scaring people the first time they saw it."
Salman began to talk to himself, "but I can't design a monster similar to Uganda's giant python. That would make me look very unqualified."
"Hmm, a giant shark? Oh, no, it won't achieve the desired effect."
"An octopus monster? No, octopus monsters have been used too many times, they are already a cliche. Fuck, those damn monster movie companies! All the monster's images have been used by them!"
After thinking for a long time, Salman finally had an idea. Picking up a piece of paper, he began to draw on it.
He first drew a long oval, a bit like a bug. in fact, he wants to draw a bug.
"The bug must be very long, um, one hundred meters? No, it's too big. It will cost a lot of money to make. That Sandler guy won't want to spend this much money."
He drew a line above the worm and wrote a few words on it. Length: 30 meters.
"Hmm, it doesn't look so scary, it actually looks cute. No! I must make it look horrible."
Salman continued to draw lines on the worms. After a while, there were rows of legs on the worm, changing the worm from cute to disgusting.
"Right, its head needs to change."
He Gently wiped the head away with the eraser. After wiping the entire head off. Salman began to draw it again after thinking for a moment.
He first drew a head similar to an ant, with two long tentacles, and a pair of mandibles. Then, he tried to make these appendages as detailed and horrifying as possible.
Salman painted a lot of lines, making the worm teeth look like that of carnivorous flowers teeth. It's just that he made them look even scarier.
"These teeth should bring nightmares to many people."
He thought smugly, looking at his "masterpiece", he couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to be eaten by it.
First, it would grab its prey with its pair of mandibles. He imagined a human struggling in this worm's mandibles. The first appearance that popped in his mind is his own image, but he quickly shook his head and replaced the poor prey with Sandler. - He saw his photo on the public signage of the scenic spot.
He imagined that the giant mandibles caught the running Sandler. As he struggled in horror, the spikes on the inner side of the mandibles slowly penetrated his body.
Sandler struggled fiercely, screaming in pain and horror, but how could he shake this giant worm with his measly power?
He looked helplessly and fearfully as the mouth of the worm was getting closer and closer to him.
"Shew!"
Sandler’s body entered the worm's mouth.
The teeth of the worms shredded his body like a shredder. In the end, Sandler's body turned into a meat sauce then slurped by the worm, like a tomato juice. (TL: man, this guy has some bloody fantasies.)
"Very good!"
Salman nodded in satisfaction, then carefully examined the worm drawing in his hand. He is planning to perfect the image of this monster.
The first thing he did is to give a skin color to this monster, he chose the brown color.
Secondly, he drew a sharp, spear-like tail at the end. His setting was that the tail was as hard as steel, with very toxic venom inside of it.
If someone attacks the worm from behind it, the worm will spray venom from its tail, turning the attacker into a disgusting mold.
Next, Salman drew a few more details before finally finished creating this horrific worm.
Looking at the picture on the draft paper, he was very satisfied.
"If I am lucky enough and this bug gets recognized by some production company, maybe I will still earn a copyright fee."
While fantasizing about that, he turned on his computer and started making 3D models.
It took another two days to make the 3D models of the monster and the other props for the monster museum.
Salman and his team found a factory then handed over the 3D models file and the rest of the plan to them, allowing them to make the props in the 3D models.
The monster props are particularly large, with a length of 30 meters and a diameter of one meter, counting the limbs on the side, it will be even bigger.
Salman asked the factory to make the monster as realistic as possible, making the monster look like an indestructible steel behemoth, but to not make it from steel.
Steel is too heavy, they will encounter a lot of problems if they make the monster from it.
After stating his conditions to the factory owner, Salman began to wait. Another 10 days have passed.
Looking at the monster in front of him, Salman looked at it with satisfaction.
At this time, the work is still not completed, they still need to add the finishing touches.
If they place this fake monster in the water as it is, it wouldn't be so scary. They need to make this item look even more realistic.
Salman's idea is to place things that look like moss on the top of it. Thinking for a while, he decided to place chamomile on top of this monster.
It looks a bit like algae in the water, the differences won't be very noticeable at the depth of the lake, so they won't need to worry about that.
After receiving the fake monster and the other props, Salman and his team dealt with them, working for another 2 days before finishing the work.
Sandler who received the news, that the work was done, rushed back and met Salman for the first time.
