Chapter 120: Underwater Exploration
🕑 Added 2019-11-21 21:39:56 +0000 UTCListening to the jokes of these college students on the boat, various complex emotions rose in Fang Yun's heart. He was once just like them, an innocent teenager, playing with his friends, watching funny videos and memes, getting yelled at by his parents, all of this happened to him in the past.
Now that he recalls these things, it feels like it happened long ago, like decades ago. He feels just like an elderly middle-aged man recalling his youth.
In fact, those things happened just a year or two ago.
Even if he counts the age of both his lives, he is still younger than any of these seven college students.
However, he is no longer a human, but a python.
This drastic change caused him to feel a sense of distance from his previous life, so he felt that the former him, that innocent high school student, is just too far away from him now. He doesn't even remember what it's like to be a human.
And this drastic change, to a certain extent, caused him to become very mature.
Sighing deeply, Fang Yun’s figure drifted away, getting farther and farther from these college students boat, the cheerful laughter became dimmer and dimmer until it completely disappeared.
While Fang Yun got separated from the college students and continued his journey. A group of people stood quietly on the shore of the Mississippi Lake.
Behind them was a group of security personnel.
"Mr. Elson, welcome to our park."
Sandler shook his hand with a bald middle-aged man, his gaze couldn't help but wander to the edge of the lake.
There was a submarine floating on the water there.
The thick and heavy metal coating made the submarine look very safe and reliable.
Sandler didn't expect the people of the Deep Sea Blue to come so fast, his heart was filled with expectations and a bit of nervousness.
This submarine does have the qualification to explore the bottom of the lake. They will finally have the ability to prove to the world that there is a giant monster in their park.
According to their plan, the people of the Deep Sea Blue will record what they saw below, and capture the giant python if possible.
This bald man is one of the higher-ups of the Deep Sea Blue Company, and he is the leader of the team that is going to capture the giant python.
"Mr. Sandler, if there is really a giant python at the bottom of the lake, we will definitely capture it."
The bald man named Elson smiled and said, but he was very confused internally.
Because, at the beginning, he also thought that this was just a dumb marketing plan created by this scenic spot, but after arriving at the "Pudaga Forest Park". He discovered that Sandler is serious about capturing the "Giant python" at the bottom of the lake.
Especially the diver Eisen, he is very certain that there is a giant python underwater.
More importantly, now, Sandler didn't tell them what to do if they don't find the python at the bottom of the lake.
All of this has caused Elson to be confused.
"Then I'll be waiting for the good news"
Sandler patted Elson's shoulder and reminded: "You have to be careful, it's a big guy, Right, Try to not hurt that giant python please, it will become a very important attraction in our park."
The corner of Elson's much was twitching but he still replied with an Ok sign.
Elson felt somewhat funny, Sandler's acting is the real deal, he still can't discover any sign that he was joking.
Giving a thumb up to Sandler, Elson and his team got into the submarine.
Their team consist of five people, after getting in the submarine, they walked to the cockpit before starting to drive the submarine.
After closing the hatch, the submarine slowly sank into the water.
On the shore, Sandler, Salman, and Eisen stared at the submarine, watching it slowly submerge into the water.
"Damn, you must shoot a video of the big guy."
Sandler looked eagerly at the calm water surface, his fists couldn't help but tighten.
Both Eisen and Salman, next to him, also looked nervous.
Whether they can turn over and prove that they are right, depends on Elson.
Inside the submarine, Elson was sitting in the cockpit.
Three people sat in front of the dashboard and controlled the submarine, while Elson, and another person, looked at the scene outside the submarine from time to time.
"Captain."
A blond young man sitting next to Elson glanced out the glass window and said with a weird smile. "Do you think there is really a giant python in this lake?"
They have sunk about 50 meter, but they still didn't see any large fish, which means that this lake is lacking in natural resources. Such a lake absolutely doesn't have enough prey to support the daily life of a giant python.
"Whether there is a giant python or not, we have achieved our purpose anyway."
After Elson's voice sounded, all the people in the cockpit looked at each other and smiled.
This "Giant Monster" in the lake is a global event. Now that they got involved in this event, the name "Deep Sea Blue" will enter the eye of the public, and that was their purpose from the beginning.
The submarine sank deeper and deeper underwater. The surroundings are becoming darker and darker. One person in the cockpit turned on the outside lights, illuminating a distance of 7 or 8 meters from the submarine.
"Stop at this level, let's continue forward from here."
According to Elson's instructions, the submarine began to move forward. They moved very slowly, although it's unlikely that there is a giant python underwater.
But Sandler's serious look and various promises still caused the atmosphere to be a bit repressive.
So the five people looked particularly careful, and they were nervous at this time, ready to respond to sudden attacks.
They traveled for a distance of 3 to 4km but still didn't find anything.
Just as the five people began to relax, a huge black shadow appeared in front of them.
"Slow down, Fry!"
Elson yelled at the young man who was driving the submarine, his eyes were fixed on the shadow in front of him.
The other people in the cockpit also became very nervous after seeing the huge black shadow.
The speed of the submarine gradually slowed down, but still slowly approached the black shadow. The people in the cockpit were ready to activate the ultra-high voltage power outside the submarine anytime, responding to any sign of attack.
Little by little, they got closer and closer to the black shadow.
After a few more seconds, the black shadow's true appearance finally unveiled in front of Elson's eyes.
However, when they saw the true appearance of the black shadow, their face stiffened and their hearts were filled with the feeling of being cheated.
The black shadow owner in front of them is not a huge python, but a huge worm;
There are some algae on the body of this giant worm, there is a lot of floating dust around it, causing it to have a mysterious and looming feeling.
It's this kind of looming feeling that makes this worm look realistic. However, it's still just a prop in the end.
"This should be the prop that Sandler put at the bottom of the lake."
Elson looked at the big worm in front of him before shaking his head. He turned around and said to the rest of the team. "Okay, boys, it seems that we were fooled."
The other four people in the cockpit also smiled and shook their heads. Thye still couldn't help but curiously look at the giant bug.
Seriously, this giant worm looming underwater looks quite scary.
"If they didn't go ahead and make fake news about a giant python, it would have been a very successful marketing strategy."
Elson muttered under his breath.
If they had launched a diving service, based on the exploration of underwater monsters, it will definitely attract a lot of tourists to come and play. Unfortunately, they are still insisting that there is a living giant python in the depth of this lake.
They probably want to make a big noise and gather attention to their park.
They might have succeeded, but they probably won't get the attention that they want, just some bad reputations and a lot of jeering and ridicule.
Elson didn't think too much about that. That would be a problem that Sandler and his park have to solve, they are just outsiders.
The submarine didn't stay too much here, they continued to move forward. But this time, they didn't travel for a long time, the submarine stopped again.
