Chapter 116: Getting Discovered
🕑 Added 2019-11-17 23:12:28 +0000 UTC"Mr.Sandler, I saw a monster underwater, a real monster!"
Eisen’s said with a shaky voice. “I’m sure it’s not the prop you placed there!”
Sandler frowned after hearing this.
Even now, Eisen is still emphasizing that there is a monster in this lake. But this is ridiculous. Although this place is remote, they still send staff to check this place regularly.
They never discovered any trace of this giant python activities.
That's without mentioning the fact that they used a sonar detector to map out the entire lake. They did that mainly to see if there are any sharp stones in the shallow area, also to see if there is any large fish.
They are going to start a diving service in this area after all.
Under the detection of the sonar detector, don't mention a 30-meters long python, they didn't even discover a small snake.
"Mr.Eisen, we should end this farce."
Sandler shook his head. If they continued to mess with the tourists and the reporters, it would probably lead to their resentment.
He turned around and looked at the group of confused reporters next to him, apologetically laughing, he said.
"I have to apologize for something, this is actually a part of our marketing plan, this..."
"It's not!"
Sandler’s words were interrupted by Eisen. "Mr.Sandler, there is really a giant python underwater. I don't know what kind of props you placed there, but that thing is impossible to be a prop!"
"You'd better cancel this diving service and deal with that giant python first!"
Sandler's face turned very gloomy, just as he was about to say something, Eisen hurriedly yelled. "I took a photo!"
"A photo of that giant python!"
Hearing this, Sandler’s face changed. This time, Salman in the crowd couldn’t stand it anymore. He rushed out towards Eisen before saying. “Mr.Eisen Show me the photos you took."
Eisen took the camera hanging around his neck then scrolled through the photos he took until he found that of the python.
A group of people gathered around Eisen, staring at the photo shown on the camera in his hand.
A huge python stands proudly at the bottom of the water. It has a huge body with the thickness of a small square table. Eisen wasn't joking when he said that the python is 1 meter thick.
"This... is there really a giant python in the lake?"
Sandler and Salman were completely paralyzed after seeing this python's picture.
in the depth of this lake, is there really a giant python?
They looked at Eisen with shocked looks. As the creators and executors of this advertising plan, they are very clear about every part of it.
What they put in the lake is a 30-meter long giant worm. They never put anything related to a giant python, so that thing is definitely not a prop they created.
Salman and Sandler looked at each other and both found the shock in each other's eyes.
Things are getting out of their hands.
It's not that they didn't think that this was a lie created by Eisen to get some attention.
It's just that, it was them who gave the camera to Eisen, plus the fact that he was underwater this whole time, so it's not possible for him to do anything.
Thinking of this, Sandler and Salman both looked at the calm lake, a bit of fear appeared on their faces.
Under this calm lake, is there really a giant python with a length of 30-meters?
However, other than them, no one else knows about their plan, so while they were looking at the lake surface with a bit of fear, the rest of the people looked at them with suspicion.
Although Eisen showed them the photo of a giant python, they did not stupidly believe it.
After all, they did the same thing before.
Who knows if all of this is part of their marketing plan?
Not only did the reporters and tourists think so, but most of the people who are watching the live broadcast of this press conference are also thinking so.
For example, Hook.
"How many times do they want to use the same routine?"
Hook shook his head, he felt that this "Pudaga Forest Park" really should recruit a legit marketer.
"At least their acting is very good."
Looking at the expressions and gestures of Eisen, Salman and Sandler, Hook nodded in approval, they should really go to Hollywood.
At the moment, the fear on Eisen's face began to slowly reduce, but he still looked at the lake with a lingering fear.
As for Salman and Sandler, they have a look of disbelief, mixed with a bit of fear. Their expression is very realistic, just like a real one.
"Mr.Sandler, can I ask what's going on here?"
A reporter walked over to Sandler and asked him about the situation, At this moment, everyone stopped talking, waiting for Sandler's answer.
They want to see what kind of trick he will do next!
"Ladies and gentlemen, we might have a bit of trouble."
Sandler took a deep breath, his face became extremely dignified with a faint fear in his eyes. "Everyone, please go back, retreat!"
He looked back at the calm lake with a bit of disbelief.
Is there really a 30-meters long giant python in this Mississippi lake?
But whether it's true or not, the most important thing is to evacuate the people on the shore. The situation might become very dangerous if there is really a giant python underwater.
The security personnel began to move, urging reporters and tourists to evacuate. However, the people on the shore just looked at each other, no one really cared about what these guys said.
For them, Sandler, Salman and Eisen are just performing a farce. No one is stupid enough to believe them, especially after using that fake monster video as an advertisement.
It's really hard to believe them, most of them think that this is just the play used by Sandler to advertise this new tourist attraction.
"Mr.Eisen, can you tell me in detail about your encounter with the monster?"
Sandler quickly walked to Eisen's side, then asked him.
Eisen's mood has finally stabilized. After taking a deep breath, he said all that happened to him to Sandler. "At that time, I saw a huge black shadow in front of me. I thought it was the fake monster you put underneath, but... ..."
He talked about the giant python's appearance in detail. When he reached the part when the python suddenly turned his head and stared at him, he couldn't help but start shaking.
Even now, he still gets shiver thinking about those giant eyes.
"Mr.Sandler, that is to say, you put a fake monster in the lake before, just to make a joke with us, but Mr.Eisen met a true monster?"
A blonde reporter held a microphone and asked Sandler, "How do we know that you are still not joking right now?"
She looked at her colleagues next to her, they nodded at her in agreement.
The eyes of all the reporters and tourists all fell on Sandler.
"Ms. I don't have the mood to joke with you now."
Sandler emphasized to the female reporter before saying to the security guards next to him: "Please escort our dear reporters and tourists to a safe place to rest."
"As for the rest of you, I want you to block the entire Lake Mississippi right away!"
After hearing his orders, all the security guards began to act. A large number of them escorted the tourists and reporters away.
From their looks, all of the reporters want to continue the interview with Sandler, but he doesn't have any plans of continuing the interview right now.
There is a possibility of a giant python residing in this lake, and he has to find a way to deal with it.
The horrified expression on Sandler’s face gradually faded away, instead, his heart started throbbing and a look of excitement emerged on his face.
"If there is really a giant python at the bottom of Mississippi, then, it must be mine!"
If the world knows that there is a 30-meter long python residing in their Pudaga Forest Park, would they still have to worry about tourists? At that time, there would be so many tourists to the point where they wouldn't be able to hold them all.
The more he thought of this, the hotter Sandler's heart became. Unconsciously, a look of greed emerged on his face.
As for the thoughts of these reporters and tourists, he didn't really care about it. It doesn't matter whether they believe it or not, as long as they catch the giant python, everything will become clear.
