Chapter 87: Mysterious Disappearance
🕑 Added 2019-10-19 21:42:56 +0000 UTC
Jonny and his team are planning to use the camouflage cameras to see what creature killed Ron, but they are destined to be disappointed.
Fang Yun had already discovered the existence of the camouflage cameras next to the crocodile group. After swallowing the crocodile king, he pondered for a while on how to destroy them without being discovered.
He discovered these cameras previously while hunting.
So because of that, he didn't hunt the crocodile king Ron on the ground but chose to hunt him underwater.
He suspects that someone is watching this crocodile group from nearby.
If he was exposed to the people at that time, a lot of people would be shocked and even a lot of researchers will come to search for and study him.
If that happened he will have to leave. After all, he still doesn't have the power to deal with armed humans. He can at most resist smaller guns, anything more than that can penetrate his scales.
He still wants to stay in this place, so he definitely can't be exposed.
The prey here is very numerous. Perhaps because of the water source here, the nearby pastures are very lush. The grass is very green and tender.
As a result, herbivores are very numerous in this place.
Fang Yun knows that the seasons here are divided into the dry season and rainy season.
It's very humid in the rainy season and there is a drought in the dry season.
From the time he arrived at the periphery of the prairie to the present, the temperature is still abnormally high. Which means, it's the dry season.
After some time, once the grasslands turn yellow and the rivers dry, all king of animals will migrate to this place. t that time, there would be an abundance of prey.
If Fang Yun were to leave now, he will miss a large number of bio-energy and his trip to the Ugandan Prairie will become a waste of time.
It's for this reason that he chose to hide underwater, after getting familiar with this place, he will destroy the cameras here. As for the problem of reputation, he will leave it until later.
There are thirty camouflaged cameras hiding in various places on the shore.
Because the entire crocodile group is monitored, these cameras arrangements don't' cover every place.
Sometimes these cameras will move gently, aiming at the crocodiles.
In the next few days, Fang Yun was busy destroying these cameras.
He destroyed a total of fourteen cameras, and the remaining ones were destroyed by a migrating bison group.
At that time, he discovered that a group of bison came here to drink, so he directly showed his body in front of them shocking them and forcing them to leave. He doesn't have the capabilities to eat bison yet.
Now that all the cameras here were destroyed, this place became his paradise.
This time, he revealed hos huge body without scruple, sometimes on the water, sometimes on the shore. After seeing his body shape, no animal dared to approach him.
He is the true hegemon on this prairie.
Fang Yun slowly slithered on the ground, heading for a hill not far away.
This hill is almost a hundred meters high. It's a rare highland in this flat grassland. He is going to climb up to survey the situation around.
When he climbed up the hill, he started looking around.
He immediately noticed a strange shadow to the right.
His vision is particularly good, so he clearly saw the modified truck in that direction.
"Truck? so it's them."
Fang Yun looked at that truck deeply before moving his sight and looking in other directions. He saw a very big and strong lion patrolling his territory like a king.
In addition, he also saw a group of spotted hyenas, a few cheetahs, and a prairie wolf.
There are also a lot of herbivores like zebras, bison, and gorals.
After roughly understanding the nearby fauna, Fang Yun climbed down the hill, but when almost reached the river, he noticed 3 hidden cameras. Without hesitation, he used his camouflage and destroyed them.
Once he found any hidden camera, he didn't hesitate to destroy it on by one.
...................
Jonny and his team are particularly depressed.
They didn't know why. All the cameras near the crocodile group were destroyed.
At first, one will be destroyed from time to time, until one time, they saw a large group of bison running over and destroying all the cameras at once.
When they saw this. They thought that the previous ones must have been destroyed in a similar accident.
After that, every time they arrange cameras, it won't take long for them to be destroyed. Heck, they even created a no blank range where every camera point to the other one, but in the end, they were destroyed by something, just like a ghost.
This matter suddenly became very mysterious.
Jonny and his team can't wait to go there and personally explore what's destroying their cameras.
However, in the end, it's still not possible. The soil in that area is very soft, once they go there, there is a high chance for their truck to get stuck.
They can only announce that the crocodiles have withdrawn from the competition and focus on the spotted hyenas, the cheetahs, and the lion group.
After getting rid of the disturbance, Fang Yun's life became very moist. He swallowed six or seven crocodiles every day, and occasionally hunted animals that come to drink.
For example, he is about to hunt one now.
Fang Yun stuck his head out of the water and looked at the shore, he spotted an animal standing there.
A young zebra.
Looking at its helpless look, it must have lost its family and is wandering alone. Going by its young age, its chance of surviving is very slim.
Occasionally, it lowered its head and ate some grass then quickly raised its head and looked around.
Fang Yun slowly approached the zebra from underwater, once he was close enough, the system's prompt sounded in his mind.
"Target locked, Zebra, Mammal, Equidae, can provide 800 bio-energy points."
After receiving this zebra's information from the system. Fang Yun jumped from the water and bit the zebra's neck with so much speed, it didn't even realize what happened.
Even after reacting, the zebra only managed to let out a scream before getting dragged into the water.
He quickly wrapped around the zebra and began constricting. With his huge muscle power, the zebra was killed in less than a minute.
From its mouth, blood with a mixture of broken meat was flowing out, its internal organs were obviously broken.
Dragging the zebra to the shore, Fang Yun quickly swallowed it.
"sigh……"
Letting out a satisfied sigh, Fang Yun laid on the water and waited for the zebra to be digested. About ten minutes later, the zebra was completely digested.
To be honest, he really prefers crocodiles over other beasts.
Crocodiles are easier to swallow. For the other prey, he must specifically look for the smaller one that can be swallowed.
In the end, he still doesn't get much bio-energy.
Unfortunately, crocodiles are much less numerous than zebras and other herbivores.
While thinking about that, the system's prompt sounded in his mind, prompting him that he had successfully acquired 800 bio-energy points.
The nest prompt made him almost burst from joy.
He can finally evolve!
