Chapter 104: Fulfilling the Evolution Requirement
🕑 Added 2019-11-08 23:38:16 +0000 UTC
The capuchin monkeys on the big tree escaped madly towards the only direction where no chimpanzees shout can be heard, crying loudly along the way.
This is the cry coming out from the monkeys when they are in danger.
The chimpanzees are chasing them from behind. Some chimpanzees chased them on trees and some chased them on the ground.
From their mouths, excited screams constantly rang out.
They are trying to give the monkeys pressure and crush their psychological defenses.
Fang Yun watched as all of this played out, making a decision, he followed them from behind.
After following them for about three or four miles, Fang Yun suddenly discovered that there are several chimpanzees blocking the monkeys way forward.
These chimpanzees have long been waiting here, waiting for the escaping capuchin monkeys to fall into their encirclement.
Sure enough, the capuchin monkeys were caught off guard and couldn’t escape. The monkeys suddenly became extremely confused. fear-filled screams filled this entire space.
Fang Yun observed that a chimpanzee caught up with a small capuchin monkey, grabbing it with its thick hand, it easily twisted its neck.
"Ayy! Aww!"
the chimpanzees constantly screamed in excitement.
With the success of the ambush, other chimpanzees have also begun to capture their prey, at least ten capuchin monkeys were killed.
These chimpanzees climbed down from the trees and squatted on the ground, enjoying their delicious meals. The surviving capuchin monkeys looked at their companions who are being eaten, then left in sadness.
Neither the chimpanzees nor the capuchin monkeys found the huge python hidden in a cluster of bushes, watching the "battle" in front of him.
Of course, now, the python is watching the chimpanzees who are enjoying their meal.
Fang Yun’s eyes wandered in the chimpanzee group, he has only one chance to attack, and the maximum he could capture in one attack is two, these chimpanzees are very fast and agile.
Chimpanzees can easily climb trees, his ability to shuttle trees isn't as good as them.
Therefore, he must choose the chimpanzee with the highest number of bio-energy to get the most out of this.
Fang Yun locked the biggest chimpanzee of the group.
It seems that it has the highest status in the ethnic group.
And when Fang Yun stared at that chimpanzee, the system's prompt confirmed that it's indeed the chimpanzee with the highest bio-energy.
"Target locked, chimpanzee, mammal, primate, can provide 4,500 bio-energy point."
He still needs 10,000 bio-energy points to evolve, after eating this chimpanzee, only 5,500 points will remain.
His muscles gradually tightened, the next moment, he sprang out like a missile.
"Bang!"
This sudden loud noise attracted the attention of this group of chimpanzees. They all turned back to look at the sound source, seeing that a giant python is approaching them with terrifying speed, they ran away in fear and panic.
Fang Yun did not care about other chimpanzees. He rushed straight towards the leader of the chimpanzee group. a few seconds later, the leader was already in his mouth.
Fang Yun slammed his mouth shut, tearing that chimpanzee apart, then turned around and looked at the chimpanzee closest to him.
However, it's a pity that the chimpanzee closest to Fang Yun is only a small one, probably just a young adult. According to the system's prompt, it does provide 2000 bio-energy points.
"Not bad, 6500 points."
While bitting the chimpanzee leader, he quickly wrapped around the young adult one, then tightly squeezed it.
At this stage, his strength is already ginormous. Even If he wrapped around a car, he can easily twist it into scrap metal, don't mention a young chimpanzee. If he used too much force, he can twist it into a bloody mess, so he has to control his strength a bit.
By now, the other chimpanzees have escaped to the tree, they sadly stared at Fang Yun as he ate their leader and companion.
Just a few minutes ago, they were eating their prey with triumph as the monkeys stared at them with sadness. The tables turned now, with Fang Yun doing to them what they did to the monkeys.
After swallowing the chimpanzee leader, Fang Yun swallowed the young one.
Fang Yun feels that it would be better to hunt on land, as long as his luck is good enough and he finds a large animal, then he will gather enough bio-energy to evolve.
After waiting for the food in the stomach to get digested, Fang Yun continued his journey.
His luck was particularly good, meeting several goats along the way and raising his bio-energy to 8,400 points.
However, for the next period of time, he did not see other animals suitable for hunting. This continued until the sky began to darken.
This time he did not directly encounter prey suitable for hunting but a swamp.
After seeing this swamp, Fang Yun was overjoyed.
Because most swamps have crocodiles.
He rushed directly into the swamp and began to search for crocodiles. However, he could only be disappointed as there isn't any crocodile in this place, only some small fish and frogs. For these small creatures that are worth only single-digit points, he disdain eating them.
Fang Yun was very disappointed, but suddenly, he found a little abnormality.
He felt the water vibrate from the north direction, a few seconds later a huge creature appeared in front of him.
It's an anaconda.
If a human, especially one that watched "Anaconda", was in this situation, he will definitely be scared to death.
Because this anaconda is more than nine meters long, it's body is very large, making a very high visual shock.
However, when Fang Yun saw this guy that can barely count as a younger brother, he was not afraid at all, he even has the urge to laugh.
"Target locked, anaconda, reptile, squamata, can provide 4000 bio-energy point."
It's indeed an anaconda, and the largest snake he saw, apart from himself obviously. With its more than 9m length, it could compete for the world's largest living snake.
In this rainforest, this anaconda has almost no natural enemies. Only big and agile cats like jaguars or leopards can restrain it with their agility, and that would be only on land. They can only serve as prey once they entered this swamp.
While thinking about this, Fang Yun sprang like an arrow towards it and bit its head, injecting his venom inside its body. This large snake doesn't even have the power to fight back in front of this mythical snake. Well, he isn't mythical yet, but he will definitely be in the future.
It didn't take long for this anaconda to be killed.
Fang Yun immediately swallowed it. Not long after, the system's prompt sounded in his mind, informing him that he obtained 4000 bio-energy points, then that he fulfilled the requirement for evolution.
"I can finally evolve."
After Fang Yun confirmed that he wants to evolve, a warm stream appeared in his body as he began to slowly grow.
Comments
Yeah, it was 350,000 bio-energy points required for evolution, not 400,000. I will fix that right now.
