🕑 Added 2019-11-08 17:40:16 +0000 UTC
Fang Yun gently swam towards the back shadow, just as he got very close to it, the flow of water in front of him surged and then that creature swam towards him quickly.
"Buzz!"
With a buzzing sound, Fang Yun felt that his body was electrocuted.
This electric shock is not weak, but because of his size, it could only slightly paralyze him.
Just as he was shocked, the creature that electrocuted him quickly ran away.
"That is... electricity?"
Fang Yun suddenly realized. It's not difficult to guess what creature that is. A 2-meter long snake-like body, the ability to discharge, only eels fit that description.
Unexpectedly, he had suffered from the attack of an eel. The attack of this eel made him realize something, apart from his big body, he doesn't have any resistance to electric attacks, he will have to find a way to make up for that weakness.
After returning back to normal, Fang Yun continued to move forward. The eel that attacked had already run away so he can only search for other prey.
Not long after, Fang Yun found another prey.
He discovered a big fish not far away.
This big fish has a length of 3 meters, a long body, and a flat mouth, it looked kind of ugly.
The moment when Fang Yun stared at fish, the system's prompt sounded in his mind.
"Target locked, Arapaima, fish, Arapaimidae, can provide 800 bio-energy points."
After hearing the system's prompt, Fang Yun was somewhat speechless.
A fish that is more than 3 meters long can only provide 800 bio-energy points. However, he is used to it, most of the fish he captures doesn't provide much energy anyway.
No way, ordinary fish are at the bottom of the food chain, so they naturally provide less energy.
Fang Yun quickly swam towards the fish.
Although this fish is a bit big and has an ugly face, it can still be eaten.
After perceiving that a huge creature is approaching, the ugly fish began to quickly run away, but with its turtle-like speed, it's almost impossible for it to run. In less than a minute, Fang Yun captured it and swallowed it."
After eating the Arapaima, Fang Yun continued to move forward.
After another five days, Fang Yun raised his bio-energy to 340,000, only needing 10,000 to evolve.( Not sure about that)
During these five days, he crossed at least 500km. In addition, he checked his reputation yesterday and discovered that it reached a shocking 200 million.
During the past few days, he didn't check his reputation, he didn't expect it to reach this level this fast.
However, although it's very gratifying, it still can't bring any benefit, at least for now.
More importantly, the speed at which his reputation increased began to gradually slow down. He guessed that many people went to his previous habitat but didn't find anything.
That resulted in no further news about him appearing, so his heat began to decrease.
Fang Yun doesn't care much about this now. Compared with his reputation, his safety is undoubtedly more important.
"Splash!"
Fang Yun stuck his head above the water and surveyed the surrounding terrain.
All he has been eating these days is fish and he is tired of it. He wants to eat some terrestrial animals for a change.
"Oh! Oh!"
Deep in the jungle, a strange cry rang, Fang Yun didn't care, he hears cry like this every day, he has long been used to it.
After swimming for a long time, Fang Yun did not find the right animal on the coast. After thinking for a moment, he simply went ashore.
Fang Yun's huge body made a loud rubbing sound as he slithered on the ground, a clear trail was left behind him as he slithered away. He is just too heavy, his weight can be measured in tons nowadays.
"Cocoo!"
A Bird's screaming sounded from above his head, Fang Yun looked up and found a huge bird sitting on a branch above his head, The moment he looked at it, the bird quickly escaped.
Fang Yun wasn't impressed, continuing his journey without a concern.
"Ayy, Ayy."
After traveling for another 7 or 8km, Fang Yun found a monkey group on a big tree.
These monkeys are about half a meter heigh and have white or yellow-white hair around their faces. When Fang Yun stared at the monkey group, the system's prompt sounded in his mind.
According to the information given by the system, Fang Yun learned that these monkeys are a species called capuchin monkeys.
After looking at the monkey group, Fang Yun planned to leave.
Although he is looking for land prey, he isn't willing to spend the efforts to grab these monkeys.
When he was still very small, the bio-energy provided by these monkeys was quite good, worth the effort used to capture them. But, for the current him, these monkeys bio-energy is nothing.
Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly stopped.
He discovered another creature walking towards the monkeys.
Without any hesitation, Fang Yun activated “Discoloration Camouflage” and immediately merged with the surrounding environment, without paying attention to the trail on the ground, it's almost impossible to find him.
Suddenly, a big animal not far from him drilled out of the bushes.
It's a chimpanzee.
The animal that appeared not far away from Fang Yun is a chimpanzee.
After the chimpanzee appeared, his eyes were fixed on the capuchin monkeys on the top of the big tree.
Obviously, this chimpanzee is planning to hunt these monkeys.
Seeing this scene, Fang Yun suddenly understood. In his previous life, he often watched "Animal World". He once saw a documentary about chimpanzees. It's said that chimpanzees live in groups and eat many things, including fruits, leaves, roots, and meat.
Their meat menu obviously includes monkeys.
Chimpanzees aren't solitary animals so there should be other group members not far away. He suspects that these guys are hidden somewhere, ready to ambush the monkeys.
He coincidentally encountered this hunting action.
A chimpanzee group, ready to hunt a capuchin monkey group.
Just as Fang Yun was analyzing the situation, the chimpanzee not far away suddenly stood up and started to fiercely beat his chest.
"Aww!"
While beating his chest, he didn't forget to roar a few times. After doing so for a short moment, it quickly ran towards the monkey's tree.
It climbed the tree very quickly and soon came reached the branch where a monkey was sitting and rushed towards it.
The capuchin monkeys were frightened, running away while yelling. Suddenly, countless chimpanzees cry can be sounded from three different directions.
This capuchin monkeys group fled directly in the direction where chimpanzees roars can't be heard from.
Comments
There was a mistake in the bio-energy needed for evolution, in a previous chapter, it was stated that he needs 400,000 bio-energy to evolve, but this got changed in this chapter and a previous one, I'm not sure which one of them is the correct one so I will have to read ahead to the time of evolution to make sure. I will make sure to fix it after that.
