Chapter 102: Arriving at the Rainforest
🕑 Added 2019-11-07 22:56:34 +0000 UTC
Fang Yun’s casually swam in the water. Because of his large body, even if he swam at the depth of 10 meters, a long shadow can still be seen from above.
Ten days have passed since he left his previous habitat.
During this time, he swam more than a thousand kilometers, he did not just stay in the water, he sometimes went to the shore to catch some prey.
Most of the prey he captured are big animals.
Crocodiles, leopards, lions, even elephants or giraffes passing by.
His bio-energy reached more than 200,000 points, his bio-energy grew especially fast these few days, as he followed a wildebeest group traveling downstream.
But yesterday, he got separated from them.
He continued traveling downstream, but that wildebeest group stayed in the same place.
Fang Yun realized that he had already reached the periphery of the prairie.
The terrain here is not the hot desert at the depth of the prairie, but undulating forests and mountains.
According to the information that Fang Yun learned from the Internet, he is about to step into a rainforest.
As long as he passes through this rainforest, it is the sea.
Another thing to note is that his reputation has surpassed 100 million points three days ago, thus he gained 9 skill points, plus the 9 skill points he already has, he reached a total of 18 skill points.
Fang Yun upgraded "Steel Body" once again, bringing his defense to an extremely high level. He feels that with his current defenses, even an anti-tank sniper rifle can't penetrate his scales.
During this time, he still did not use the Bashen bloodline. He plans to find a hidden place in the rainforest before using it.
He can already imagine how much researchers coming to find him.
Although he's unlikely to be discovered a 1000km away from his previous habitat, things about his life are not a joke. Only cautious people will live to the end.
After using this bloodline, he will fall into a hibernation-like state, he doesn't know how long he will stay in this state, so it's better to be cautious.
After thinking for a while, he made his mind up to change his bloodline after entering the forest.
After swimming forward for about 20 miles, Fang Yun saw a group of giraffes walking next to the river.
Although he said it's a group, it's actually just four.
Three big ones, one small one.
Giraffes are particularly tall. If it was the previous him, he wouldn't hunt this creature, even if managed to kill it, he wouldn't be able to eat it.
But now that his teeth have become particularly strong and sharp, he naturally won't have to worry about this problem.
"Bam!"
Fang Yun’s quickly slithered out of the river and rushed straight toward the four giraffes. His speed was very fast, more than 100 km/h.
The four giraffes were scared by his appearance and quickly ran away.
But giraffes maximum speed is about 60 to 70 km/h, far less than his speed, That's without mentioning their weak endurance, it's almost impossible for them to run away from Fang Yun.
Not long after, Fang Yun caught up with the smallest giraffe. using the fastest method to kill it, that is venom, he quickly ran towards the other 3 giraffes.
Only kids chose, adults take it all, and Fang Yun IS an adult, so he naturally will hunt all four giraffes.
Giraffes actually have no natural enemies. If they are not careful, even lions can be killed by them.
However, in front of Fang Yun, they can only escape. Under Fang Yun's terrible power, speed and defense, they have no power to fight back.
According to the system's prompt, an adult giraffe can give him 8,000 bio-energy points. There are three adult giraffes here, which means he can get 24,000 bio-energy points.
In addition, even the small giraffe can provide him with 2,200 bio-energy points.
Three minutes later, Fang Yun killed the three adult giraffes, four giraffes body laid next to each other. He dragged the small one here.
Starting from the small one, Fang Yun ate all the giraffes.
"System, bring up my properties panel."
He said internally, wanting to check how his bio-energy has changed.
And as soon as he said that, a blue light panel appeared in his mind.
He discovered that bio-energy has reached 265,800 points.
“Very well, before entering the rainforest, I should be able to raise my bio-energy to 300,000, I should obtain another 50,000 points in the rainforest."
“I should be able to evolve not long after entering the sea."
His current body length is 21 meters, after another evolution, he might reach 24 meters or more.
This body size should be able to compare with most whales.
Thinking of this, various emotions rose in his heart.
"This is only the beginning." He thought internally.
Calming down his racing heart, he continued moving forward. Finally, after another 5 days, he reached the rainforest.
At this time, he managed to raise his bio-energy to 300,00 points as he expected, next is the expected 50,000 points in this rainforest.
“It feels a lot cooler.”
Fang Yun was casually swimming in the water, his eyes constantly wandering around.
There are many tall trees on both sides of the river. He can't name them. From the trunk, there are many thick roots that are deeply plunged into the soil.
These roots are particularly large, the smallest one is about as thick as an adult man's arms.
On those big trees, there are many birds singing, courting the females on the branches. As a single dog, Fang Yun deeply appreciates their efforts. Unlike him, the eternal single dog.
In addition, he saw many other animals.
For example, not far away, there is a large group of monkeys. These monkeys are relatively small, averaging at about 20 to 30cm tall, even the big ones are only about 40 to 50cm.
This group of monkeys squatted on a large tree next to the river, screaming and cheerfully jumping from one tree to the other.
According to the system's prompt, these monkeys are called squirrel monkeys.
Fang Yun didn't have the intention to hunt them. It's relatively time-consuming and laborious to capture such a monkey, it's not worth the effort. More importantly, there is not only a lot of prey in the river, but they are also very easy to catch.
Just like now.
A slight water vibration occurred in front of him, and it was discovered by Fang Yun. He recovered his gaze from the group of monkeys, then sank underwater.
After entering the rainforest, the mud in this river increased a lot. From the water surface, only a meter of depth can be seen, If Fang Yun dives about 6 to 7 meters underwater, then it will become very dark.
Another point worth noting is that this large river was divided into several small ones after reaching the rainforest. Fang Yun chose the river in the middle, which was the largest and has a width of up to a kilometer.
According to what he has learned on the internet, these three rivers all eventually lead to the sea, but the distance between them will become larger and larger, the farthest distance between them will become more than 30km.
After sinking underwater, Fang Yun noticed a black shadow appearing in front of him. Because they were a little apart from each other, he didn't what type of creature was that.
