"How are things going Xiaohu?"
In the office, looking at Hook who came in, Tang Xue put down the papers in his hand and asked him.
"Professor, I have already organized the manpower, and we can go to the Ugandan Prairie at any time." Hook said concisely, he knows that the situation is serious, now is not the time to talk nonsense.
"Okay, let's go now."
Tang Xue said to him.
Hook looked hesitantly at Tang Xue, looking like he wanted to say something but is hesitating.
Tang Xue, who had just walked past Hook, looked at him and seemed to understand his thoughts.
"Xiaohu, although the Ugandan Prairie environment is very bad, I must go there personally."
"You can rest assured, I can still stand it."
Tang Xue patted Hook’s shoulder. He had no children. He has always regarder Hook as his son, that's why he will bring him along whenever he has any project.
Hook did not let him down, all the work that was assigned to him was done very well.
More importantly, he can perceive that Hook does really care about him. Thinking about this, Tang Xue felt his heart warm-up, a smile crept upon his old wrinkled face.
"Ok."
Hook nodded and then followed Tang Xue.
This time, the 20-meter-long giant python that was found in the Ugandan Prairie shocked the entire biology community.
Such a huge creature, and still a cold-blooded animal, require at least 30C degree of heat to survive.
But such temperature conditions only exist in big deserts, and that's only during the day, the temperature will plummet in the evening.
Therefore, this kind of creature appearing in modern times completely subverted the cognition of this group of professors.
When he first heard this news, Hook and Tang Xue did not believe it first, a 12-meter long python is already big enough, a 20-meter long python? That's impossible!
However, they could only believe it after seeing the video, such a miraculous creature truly exists.
There is one more important point.
This giant python has a pattern similar to that of the gray python found in China.
The two of them suddenly thought of the giant python that they saw in the TangKla mountains.
It's just that the size difference is too big. One is 12-meter long which can barely be accepted. The other one is more than 20-meter long which simply subverts their cognition.
"Professor, is the giant python in the Ugandan Prairie really a gray python? Is it related to the one we saw in the TangKla mountain?"
Walking on the road, Hook asked Tang Xue.
“It’s very likely to be a gray python, but to talk about similarities...”
Tang Xue pondered for a moment, then said: "The two giant pythons have two identical points, that is big and fast."
"In addition, the giant python in the Uganda Prairie teeth are particularly sharp, they can not only be used to grab into prey, but also to tear them apart, just like Tyrannosaurus Rex."
Tang Xue took a deep breath before continuing.
"An animal like this, even in the Jurassic era, or the Cretaceous era, belongs to the hegemonic level, with few opponents in the whole world."
“We had missed the opportunity to study the gray python in the Tangkla Mountains. Now that we have a better goal, we must capture it this time."
Hook nodded.
This strange and miraculous creature, if it's studied in-depth, they may get some big discoveries.
It’s just that he actually wants to ask, is the gray python in the TangKla mountain the same as the one in the Ugandan Prairie?
But this idea is too absurd, so he will no ask it.
They found that the giant python in the Tangkla Mountains about 3 months ago. For a python to grow from about 12 meters to more than 20 meters in just 3 months is impossible.
This is pure fantasy.
Shaking his head, Hook threw this absurd idea out of his head.
......
In a country on the other side of the ocean, in an office decorated in a European classical court style, an old man in a white shirt was writing.
"Knock, Knock!"
Suddenly, the door of the room was knocked a few times.
The old man looked over to the door. The door was opened and a man was standing outside, He was his student, Roy.
"Come in."
Upon hearing his tutor's consent, Roy stepped into the office.
"Is there anything?"
Hearing his tutor's question, he immediately replied
"Teacher, Professor Borg wants to join the expedition team going into the Ugandan Prairie."
"Borg? The guy who embarrassed himself by giving a science fiction results then was dismissed by the school?"
The old man took off his glasses and wiped it gently with a soft cloth. He smiled and said.
"I don't want my team to have such a guy whose head is full of fantasy."
"Moreover, he is no longer a professor at our college."
"Tell him that if he really wants to go to the Ugandan Prairie, he can make a wormhole in Los Angeles based on sci-fi theory he wrote, and then he can pass through." (This is possible)
Hearing this, Roy smiled. "I know how to reply to him, teacher."
After finishing this sentence, he walked outside the door.
When he came to the front door of the office building, he found that there is an old man wearing a pair of trousers waiting there.
"Sorry, Professor Borg, my tutor said that there should be no outsiders in the inspection team going to Ugandan Prairie, This is the college's regulations, the mentor can't do anything about it."
He walked in front of the old man and said.
The old man known as Borg got furious immediately after hearing Roy's answer. He angrily said to him.
"What shit rules, it must be that guy's decision!"
"Damn, I want to talk to him, he should put down academic bias at this time!"
As saying that, he quickly ran to the office door, he wanted to break in.
However, Roy quickly ran in front of him, preventing him from walking any further.
"Sorry, Professor Borg, you can't go in."
"Let me in! I'm going to see that Langzoo guy!"
Professor Borg wanted to push Roy away but discovered that he couldn't push him at all.
He glanced at Roy, and Roy looked at him back without any fear.
"Fuck!"
Professor Borg pointed to Roy and shouted. "If you were my student, I will definitely kick your ass!"
After hearing his words, Roy shrugged, expressing that he, unfortunately, isn't.
In the face of Roy, who did not budge at all, Professor Borg ould only bite his teeth with hatred. Eventually, he could only unwillingly give up. Suddenly, the phone in his pocket rang up.
He pressed the answer button and placed the phone on his ears, a deep male voice came from inside.
"Professor Borg, would you like to visit the Red Fruit Rainforest with us?"
"Business as usual!"
Professor Borg rudely pressed the hang-up button. Apparently, his heart was filled with anger.
About ten days later, the inspection team from all over the world began to enter the Ugandan Prairie, with the intention to capture that giant python. But even after thoroughly searching in the place where the python was last seen, nothing was found.
Unfortunately, this trip can only can to a waste.
