After calling his information pannel. Fang Yun attention was immediately attracted by the reputation column. He watched as his reputation surpassed 1 million and continued to increase.
“This time it's 7 skill points."
Fang Yun thought deeply. He has 4 points left from the previous time, with another 7 skill points, that brings his total to 11.
But he doesn't have any skill to upgrade now.
"I hope that new skills will refresh after the next evolution."
Fang Yun thought internally. After the next evolution, he will get 13 skill points, bringing his total to 24 skill point.
He never had so many points before, He guessed that after this evolution, new skills are likely to appear.
Of course, it's also possible that no skill will appear.
Thinking of this, a sense of urgency arose in his heart. He wants to quickly evolve and see if any new skills appear.
Converging his thought. He lifted his head and looked around, then quickly slithered deeper in this forest.
If he was seen by anyone in this forest, it's likely that they will be scared to death.
The 11-meter-long body, slippery scales, cold pupils that shine from time to time. More importantly, the speed that isn't inferior to most felines;
This is a real behemoth, an apex predator. It's a creature that can compete with the ancient behemoths.
Without a doubt, he is an overlord level creature that can act as king, no matter what place it is. Even if it's deep in the jungle, no creature dare to provoke this behemoth.
............
Three days later.
Fang Yun has been looking for a place to live in, but he still didn't find any suitable place.
"Crack."
Fang Yun’s huge body crawled on the ground. Suddenly, he stopped. In front of him is a huge tree.
He lifted his head and looked behind the tree.
Not far from this tree, there is a slope, where a pheasant was looking for food. When the pheasant saw Fang Yun crawling from behind the tree. It screamed in panic, waved its wings and flew away.
"Ok?"
Fang Yun didn't pay attention to the pheasant, instead, he concentrated on listening to the sounds around him.
"Stream!"
He heard the sound of running water not far away. A bit Surprised, he quickly flicked his tongue.
Sure enough, he felt that the air around him was moist.
"There is a river not far away."
Fang Yun concluded.
Although he doesn't know how big this river is. If there is enough prey in it, then he will stay there for a while.
Slithering in the sound direction. After crawling for two miles, Fang Yun finally saw the river.
This river did not disappoint him, being almost 30 meters wide.
However, this river is relatively shallow, only 40 to 50 cm deep.
In this river, he can't use ambush-style hunting as he will be very visible and there isn't any top predator like crocodiles.
However, the moment Fang Yun saw the river. He decided to stay here.
Because in this river, there are hundreds of fish that are swimming upstream.
Salmon!
In this river, there is a salmon group! probably migrating.
Salmon is an anadromous species, a species that often migrate. They live most of their life in the ocean, but when they mature, they swim to freshwater places to reproduce.
Migration season is usually in March or April and August or September. They usually arrive at their reproduction site in September or October.
Unexpectedly, While traveling, Fang Yun just happened to meet with migrating salmon group. It seems that they are passing through this forest, then heading toward their reproduction site;
"This group of salmon is not very numerous, I wonder whether they are the vanguard or the last batch."
Fang Yun pondered for a while, before finally guessing that this salmon group is likely a vanguard.
It should be June now, it's still a bit early for their migrating season.
Of course, it's also possible that his judgment is mistaken.
But no matter what, Fang Yun decided to settle here for a while.
After making this decision, Fang Yun looked at the salmon, swimming in the river. These salmons are especially large, some are probably more than 10 kg, looking very fat and appetizing, giving him the urge to bite one.
When Fang Yun entered the river. The salmon didn't dodge, nor did it escape downstream, but just struggled to swim forward.
This is their mission, no matter what obstacles there are on the way, they won't stop swimming forward.
Fang Yun examined the salmon group. Eventually, his gaze fell on a fat salmon that is at least 10 kg.
“Target locked, Salmon, Actinopterygii, Salmonidae, can provide 100 bio-energy point.”
After hearing the system's prompt, Fang Yun was a bit surprised at how much bio-energy can these salmon provide.
This time, he didn't hesitate anymore, Fang Yun quickly rushed to that fat salmon. He opened his bloody mouth and bit that salmon!
"Splash."
Fang Yun bit that salmon and raised his head. The later struggled in his mouth, splashing some water.
Reaching this far has proven how much dangers and hardship this salmon has experienced. However, in the end, it has ended as Fang Yun's meal.
His teeth plunged into the body of the salmon like steel nails, instantly killing it, after which he immediately swallowed it.
One hundred bio-energy point obtained!
Fang Yun continued sweeping the river with his gaze.
In the river, there is a lot of salmon, and because they are swimming against the flow. Their speed is relatively slow, making capturing them very easy.
After eating 13 salmons, Fang Yun stopped hunting. The salmons have already swum upstream.
He didn't bother following, because there is a slope ahead. More importantly, other salmon groups are likely to pass by here. He will have a lot of opportunities to hunt salmon in the future.
Looking up at the sky, it's not long before dark. He should look for a place to rest in for the night.
An old tree would be the best.
After climbing out of the river, he looked around, big trees are everywhere. But most of them are very tall.
These type of trees aren't what Fang Yun is looking for.
After searching for a while, he found an old tree suitable for him to rest on.
This old tree is very thick. More importantly, It has a huge canopy. Although it's quite tall, its branches are quite low, making it possible for Fang Yun to climb up. With his increasing size, climbing trees is getting harder and harder.
Climbing up the tree, Fang Yun hang on its branches.
At this time, the sky has completely darkened, and the forest is pitch back.
Accompanied by this dark night is a scary silence. Occasionally, the cry of a bird or the howl of a beast can be heard from a distance.
This made the jungle look very scary and gloomy.
If an ordinary person is alone in such an environment, he will probably be crying and calling for his mom, but Fang Yun who is lying on a tree branch has no such feeling right now.
He looked into the distance before closing his eyes and preparing to sleep. But suddenly, he thought of something he had neglected before.
