Chapter 73: Meeting With Poachers.
🕑 Added 2019-09-27 20:50:16 +0000 UTCFang Yun slowly slithered on the ground. At the same time, he activated the “Discoloration Camouflage” skill and crawled toward the sound source.
Feeling that he was very close to the source of the sound, he looked through the bushes.
He discovered that no far away, there was a team of seven people.
Because there are dogs in this team, he didn't try to get any closer but tried examining them from afar.
These seven people were all males, plus three hounds and two horses.
One of the horses has a bulging backpack on its back, filled with tools.
The other horse also has a backpack on its back, but in this backpack, there is a leopard fur that looked just like it was peeled off. It was obviously just washed with obvious traces of blood.
Poachers.
The moment Fang Yun saw these seven peoples, he reached this conclusion. The conversation of these seven people further confirmed his conjecture.
From their mouths, Fang Yun often heard words such as "good harvest" and "sell for a good price."
Looking at the seven people getting farther and farther, Fang Yun did not keep up with them.
For these poachers, although he doesn't like them, he wasn't planning on killing them or something like that. Mostly because their poaching behavior doesn't affect him at all.
After all, he won't stay in this place for long.
As long as they don't come and provoke him, he doesn't care what they do.
Thinking of this, he felt that after becoming a python, his temperament has gradually changed.
If he was still a human being, he will definitely be disgusted and resentful if he encountered this situation.
Seeing that these guys aren't visible anymore, Fang Yun turned around and continued his hunting journey. After two hours, the sky has begun to darken.
By this time, Fang Yun had hunted several small animals.
His bio-energy has reached 148,500 points, only a small amount remain until evolution.
Fang Yun slithered back to the lake. He hoped that there would be some animals that came to drink in the lake, by capturing them, he will complete his 14 evolution today.
But when he almost reached the lake, he suddenly stopped, his eyes staring in surprise at a place not far ahead.
He discovered that not far away, seven men were sitting on the lake's shore, setting up a pot and cooking something, a small smoke pillar was rising from there.
It's the seven poachers that he saw before.
He did not expect that even if each of them walked into a different direction, they still ended up in this lake, his territory.
This time, he closely looked at them, examining them.
The sky has already become very dark, so the seven poachers lit a fire not far from the lake, the blazing flame burned intensely, illuminating the seven men's faces, so Fang Yun is clearly seeing their faces right now.
On the right side of the poachers are the animals they bought along.
The luggage on the horses back was unloaded, allowing them to rest. As for the three hounds, they are currently hanging their heads and eating something on the ground.
Fang Yun looked closely at the three dogs. He discovered that dogs were eating two incomplete pythons corpses.
"Aren’t those the previous two pythons?"
While Fang Yun was still amazed, the poachers around the iron pot also started talking.
"Qi Ge, is the snake soup ready or not?"
A short man stood up and peeked in the iron pot. Inside the pot, the hot soup was bubbling with heat, steam was seeping out of the pot. From time to time, pieces of white meat rose to the surface.
Each one was the size of a finger.
Next to the short man, a fat man was holding a spoon and stirring the soup from time to time. Hearing the short man, he smiled and said. "Yes, it's ready."
"Take your bowl."
Each one of them held their bowls up as the fat man filled them one by one. Not long after, everyone has a bowl of snake soup.
"smells good."
The short man smelled the soup in his bowl and said.
Then moving his chopsticks, he picked up a piece of meat and put it in his mouth, then his eyes immediately brightened. The snake meat in his mouth was smooth and tender and the taste is very rich.
"Fat, your craft is getting better and better!"
The young man gave the fat man a thumbs up.
"Haha, this is just good ingredients, these pythons are mature and their meat is of good quality."
The fat man smiled and also put a piece of meat in his mouth, his face showing an intoxicated expression.
"What a waste, only these pythons head, and skin can be preserved, we can't finish eating these pythons so we can only throw it."
One of the poachers looked at the remains of the two pythons left on the ground and said regretfully.
"There is no way, we can bring back only a limited amount of weight, and these two pythons are still a bit small. if they were nine meters, they would have met the boss's request."
One of the poachers lifted his head from his bowl and laughed.
"Forget it, you don't have to think too much, this time we were quite lucky, encountering two pythons mating in shallow water."
"If we didn't discover them, then you won't have even this snake soup in your hand."
Hearing this, all the poachers laughed.
Suddenly, the fat man named Qi Ge got up and walked over to their luggage, rummaging for a while, he picked up a wine bottle.
"Come, each one can only take a sip."
After saying this, he took the lead by taking a sip, and after moaning that it's comfortable, he handed the bottle to the short man next to him.
The short man took the bottle and after a sip, he smiled and said.
"Fat, do you also think that the hobbies of these big bosses are really special."
"They like all kind of exotic animals, like rhinoceros horns and now a big python."
"You don't have to think so much. If these big bosses didn't have such eccentric hobbies, then won't we lose our jobs?"
Hearing what the short man said, he turned around and reprimanded him;
Before entering the mountain, they learned through the middleman that there is a rich man who wants a big python, at least 9 meters.
This rich man is a well-known animal enthusiast in the underground circle.
He has a private zoo with lots of rare animals, both alive and dead. The dead ones are placed in the appropriate storage room.
Some rumors say that in his storage room, there are several complete dinosaur fossils.
"This time, If we catch an alive 9 meters long python, we will get 5 million. Even if we kill it by mistake, that's still 1 million."
Next to them, a young man said before sighing.
After hearing the young man, the rest of the poachers started talking about this with interest.
It can be said that before entering this forest, they were more or less holding such expectations. Capturing a 9-meter long big python, even if it's dead.
"You don't have to think about it, there are very few pythons that big, even in the whole world, how can we just happen to meet one?"
One of the poachers shook his head and said. Among them, he was the calmest. He felt that his companions were whimsical.
