Chapter 72: Meeting Humans Again
🕑 Added 2019-09-26 21:42:22 +0000 UTC
In the depth of the jungle, there is a huge lake. A very clear and beautiful lake filled with life, lush grass is everywhere on the shore, and giant trees are surrounding the lake from all the sides.
Suddenly, from behind a big banyan tree, a creature stuck its head out.
A huge python's head was peeking out from behind the tree.
It swept the lake with its eyes before slowly crawling from behind the tree. Cracking sounds were heard as the Giant python crushed the branches on its way.
This is a giant python with a shocking size of 13 meters.
And this giant python is naturally Fang Yun.
Fang Yun’s slowly crawled from behind the big banyan tree. He stopped moving once he reached the shore of the lake. Looking at this beautiful scenery, he took a deep breath, full of fresh air, an intoxicated look on his face.
This lake is so large that even if he stands up, at a height of 4 to 5 meters. He still can't see the entire lake from this angle.
In this lake, Fang Yun spotted a lot of animals.
For example, not far away from his location, hidden between the grass, several crocodiles are sunbathing.
In the shallow waters on the opposite, several capybaras are cheerfully playing.
In addition, he also saw a lot of fish happily swimming in the lake, as well as some ducks and goose floating on water.
The prey in this area is very rich, and that's without mentioning that this place is a vast water source. There will be no shortage of animals that will come here to drink water. He met a lot of animals while traveling along in the jungle.
Wolves, wild boars, gazelles, and even tigers.
It was a three-meter-long Siberian tiger. Fang Yun was shocked when he encountered that tiger. It was more majestic than any creature he encountered until now, even the brown bear.
However, when he snapped back to reality, he immediately threw this thought out of his head.
He is a 13-meter-long giant python. He can compete even with the ancient behemoths. That plus all his skills, if he and the tiger fought, then it could only end as his meal.
However, that tiger was very cautious, running immediately after a short confrontation with him.
This made Fang Yun feel a bit of a pity. According to the system prompt, that tiger can provide him with 5000 bio-energy.
By now, his bio-energy has reached 110,000 points, plus the rich amount of prey here. It shouldn't take long for him to evolve.
Diving into the water, Fang Yun wandered around in the lake, he was looking everywhere, calculating the number of prey here.
He has spotted 18 crocodiles in total, but most of them are around 2 meters. Crocodiles of this size can provide him with only 1200 bio-energy point.
He also discovered 13 capybaras.
Fang Yun counted. if he swallowed all the crocodiles and the capybaras, he will gain a total of 30,000 bio-energy point.
Then, as long as he eats some other small animals, he can evolve.
For the next three days, Fang Yun has been preying mostly on crocodiles and capybaras.
In just three days, his bio-energy reached 145,580 points, almost reaching the evolution threshold.
"Splash"
On the calm lake surface, bubbles suddenly emerged, followed by a dark shadow slowly rising to the surface.
Fang Yun looked in the shore direction, stepping on the grass, a gazelle was leisurely drinking water.
Staring at the gazelle for a while, he slowly sank underwater.
He slowly swam towards the gazelle. Not long after, he was below the water the gazelle was drinking from.
At this moment, the gazelle still drank water without a sense of crisis, It didn't know that below it, a 13 meters long python was staring at it.
"Bang!"
The sound of water breaking suddenly sounded, and from the depth of the water, a huge behemoth suddenly appeared, biting the gazelle and dragging it underwater with lightning-fast speed.
"Aaah!".
The gazelle screamed in terror and madly struggled, but it was still entangled by Fang Yun.
The gazelle was soon submerged in the water, its body was entangled by the giant python. Not long after, the water returned to the previous calm.
After swallowing the gazelle, Fang Yun hid underwater and waited for the next prey.
In this lake, after he swallowed the crocodiles. He is the only remaining hunter here, so as long as a prey walks into the water, it can't escape Fang Yun's palm, or rather mouth.
Originally, he thought that things would continue like this until he gathers enough bio-energy to evolve and leave.
However, an accident still had to happen.
First of all, this morning, Fang Yun suddenly discovered an uninvited guest in the lake.
It's a python, one of his kind.
Its body length is around 7 meters.
Putting it in almost any place around the world, it wan count as a giant python, but in front of Fang Yun, it can only count as a younger brother, to be exact, a younger sister.
From that python, Fang Yun smelled an alluring scent, causing his to inexplicably shake.
It's obvious that this smell is particularly disgusting to him, but his body still unconsciously rubbed on the ground, a completely subconscious action. At the same time, an impulse to crawl to that python rose in his heart.
This impulse was getting increasingly obvious as time passed.
The scent from the female python confused the mind of Fang Yun, attracting him from the physical level, but disgusting him from the psychological level. This scent didn't attract just Fang Yun but also another python.
This python is six meters long. Although it's nowhere near Fang Yun's level, it can also be considered a big mac in the python family.
The two pythons approached each other in the shallow water area then, they twisted their bodies together and continuously rolled in the water.
Hearing the water splashing made the impulse in Fang Yun's heart even stronger.
He did not dare to approach the two pythons, fearing that he would make any impulsive action.
Swimming to the shore, Fang Yun slithered away to the forest. He didn't want to see these two pythons anymore.
After killing and eating a few preys in the forest, the restlessness in his heart was dispelled a lot.
According to this situation, he plans to wait until the evening before returning to the lake, hoping that these two pythons would have finished their mating sessions before that.
Casually strolling in the forest, he ate any prey that he spotted, he didn't settle just with those big animals.
Even small animals like pheasants, hares, civets, birds, etc... as long as he spots any prey, he swallows it in his stomach.
He can even be called a living disaster right now, no matter where he goes, he eats every living thing in that place.
Under such crazy hunting, his bio-energy grew by leaps and bounds, reaching 144,400 points. In just two or three hours, he increased his bio-energy by more than 2000 points.
Just as Fang Yun was ambitiously thinking about whether he could gather enough bio-energy to evolve today, he suddenly heard the sound of people talking not far away.
Humans voice.
How can there be humans this deep in the forest?
Suddenly, he remembered the wrapping paper of the compressed biscuits he saw before.
After thinking for a while, he decided to slither in the direction where he heard the voice from.
Comments
Hmm, it seems that I made a mistake in counting the next evolution bio-energy point requirement. It's 150,000, not 120,000. Sorry for that I will fix it now
