Chapter 70: Aggressive Bear
🕑 Added 2019-09-25 18:28:16 +0000 UTCThree animals appeared from the other side of the river, one big and two small, probably a family.
They slowly walked towards the river. One of their most striking features is their brown fur.
Brown bear.
Right now, not far away from Fang Yun, a three members brown bear family is walking towards the river.
The big brown bear is obviously the mother, while the other two are her children.
"Target locked, brown bear, mammal, carnivore, can provide 4,500 bio-energy point."
"Target lock, brown bear cub, mammal, carnivore, can provide 800 bio-energy point."
......
As Fang Yun stared at the three brown bears, the system's prompt sounded in his mind.
Hearing the system's prompt, he couldn't help but look at the big bear.
This bear is two meters long and is more than 1-meter height, looking very majestic.
"I should be able to swallow this bear...Probably."
Fang Yun’s gaze became a bit hot.
This is 4,500 bio-energy point.
Fang Yun felt that he can probably do it. His current diameter is 40 cm, and the previous "Skin Resistance" he maxed out gave him not only a high toughness but also a very good elasticity.
It may be a little difficult to swallow this adult bear, but he is planning to try anyway.
"Roar."
Feeling Fang Yun stare at her and her children, the female bear immediately roared and glared at him.
Although Fang Yun doesn't understand the bear language, he can still guess the meaning of her actions. She is probably warning him to stay away from her and her children.
Turning his head away, he continued his fishing action.
Although he has also considered these bears as his prey. It's not the time to conflict with them, catching salmon is more important for now.
Two more days passed and the number of salmon is getting less and less.
Fang Yun has managed to gather more than 80,000 bio-energy points. Only 3000 shy from 90,000 bio-energy point.
Now that the salmon is getting very scarce, Fang Yun is wondering whether he should eat the bears now or leave them until later.
But while thinking about that, he didn't expect that the brown bear will be the one to take the initiative to attack.
"Roar."
On this day, Fang Yun was catching fish on the cliff as usual, when suddenly, the big bear roared at him, before running towards him with a threatening gesture.
This mother bear looked very angry, glaring while running toward him.
Her look indicates that she is trying to drive him away rather than attack him.
Fang Yun was slightly surprised, then suddenly realized.
The salmon in this river is getting less and less. Plus, he is occupying a very large area, causing him to get the majority of the salmon.
It should be that the prey captured is getting less and less, causing the bear to get angry.
"Roar!!"
The female bear lowered her head, glaring at Fang Yun. She also roared at him from time to time.
If an ordinary person sees a bear constantly threatening them, and making an attacking gesture. They will surely flee in terror. but Fang Yun didn't feel anything.
He is now the apex predator. No terrestrial creature can threaten him! (except humans).
"Hiss!"
Fang Yun flicked his tongue in the air. He slowly lifted his head, overlooking the female bear.
When the female bear saw this, her eyes slowly showed a little hesitation.
Fang Yun body size is too big.
Even if she usually acts as the king of the forest, she doesn't dare act in an overbearing manner in front of Fang Yun.
"Roar!"
She roared at Fang Yun, trying to intimidate him, but her voice was getting lower. At the same time, she subconsciously stepped backward.
"Woosh!"
Suddenly, Fang Yun attacked, crossing a distance of more than 10 meters in a second. He reached the female bear location in the blink of an eye, then he immediately bit her.
His sharp teeth, like steel nails, plunged into the female bear head.
After bitting the female bear skull, he quickly pressed her down, then immediately wrapped around her and began to constrict.
"roar..."
From the mouth of the female bear, a little whimper sounded, which looked particularly sad.
Fang Yun was not moved, his powerfull muscles tightened, causing her bones to create a squeaking sound. As if they are about to break.
"roar."
Suddenly, the two bear cubs who were catching fish in the river heard their mom's mourning. Looking at Fang Yun who was constricting their mother, they were very confused. They walked a few steps before stopping. Obviously they were intimidated by Fang Yun.
Fang Yun’s sense of presence is too strong, just looking at him made them shiver in fear.
After three minutes passed, the female bear gradually stopped breathing. Blood was flowing from her mouth, her internal organs and bones were crushed by Fang Yun.
After killing this female bear, Fang Yun wrapped around her and dragged her away from the river.
After doing that, Fang Yun eyes wandered around before eventually falling on the two frozen stiff bear cubs.
Seeing the two bear cubs frozen in their place, staring at him with horror and fear, made Fang Yun surprised. He wondered why these two bear cubs didn't escape to the forest. He was not going to bother to follow them if they escaped, but now that they are right in front of him, he naturally won't waste bio-energy.
After swallowing the two bear cubs, Fang Yun obtained 1600 bio-energy. After which he slithered back to the female bear body.
Looking at the big bear in front of him, Fang Yun compared his width with this female bear size.
Swallowing such a huge beast will probably take a lot of time.
After pondering for a while, Fang Yun remembered something he did before.
He remembers using a trap at the top of the Wulong mountain.
At that time, he accidentally got a hive with a lot of honey inside. He used it to hunt a lot of animals.
He used the hive to lure the animals before ambushing them.
At this moment, he can use the body of this female bear as a beat to attract a lot of beasts, thus gaining a lot of bio-energy!
After making his mind up, Fang Yun dragged the body of the female bear and slithered into the forest.
He has given up hunting salmon.
According to his estimation. Even if he stays the whole day in the river capturing salmon, he will get at most 5000 bio-energy point. Using this bear body as a bait to hunt is probably much more effective.
Fang Yun dragged the female bear body to an open space before hiding in a tree not far away.
If he is too close, he might be discovered by the animals who came to eat the bear body.
Time passed slowly. About an hour later, in the bushes not far away from the bear's body, some rustling sounded.
A dark python suddenly crawled out of the bushes.
"Oh?"
Looking at the python that crawled out, Fang Yun was a bit amazed. The first prey that was hooked up was actually a python.
Fang Yun examined that python.
This python is about 5 meters long, quite thick actually. After crawling to the female bear, it immediately wrapped around it, measuring the size of the bear.
Suddenly, Fang Yun jumped from the tree.
