🕑 Added 2019-09-23 21:41:10 +0000 UTCFang Yun’s eyes slowly contracted, he stared at a place right in front of him, then quickly crawled over there.
He discovered that there is a piece of white wrapping paper on the side of a tree, with the words of "XX Compressed Biscuits" printed on it.
This kind of wrapping paper is a kind of eco-friendly paper that degrades quickly, safely and without pollution.
The thing he found is this wrapping paper, already half-dissolved in the soil.
"Someone has been here."
After seeing this paper, Fang Yun immediately came to this conclusion.
He couldn't help but wonder, who would walk this deep in the jungle?
The previous people he met are a filming crew, it's not unusual for them to go that deep into the jungle to film. This time who it is?
People who can walk this deep into the jungle are usually expedition teams, or...Poachers!
Fang Yun’s eyes narrowed.
He decided to stop his journey here, no matter what their identities are. He doesn't want to have anything to do with them.
Turning his head, he crawled back the way he came.
Only in the evening did Fang Yun return to the river, glancing in it, he didn't spot any salmon swimming. Although a little disappointed, he still planned to stay here for a while.
After the night passed, Fang Yun planned to start his hunting journey again.
But, it was heavily raining today.
The rain was very heavy. so he didn't go out to hunt in the rain but just stayed on the big tree to rest.
When the rain stopped in the evening, he crawled to the river and glanced at it. He found that the water level was much higher than before. More importantly, he found a salmon group swimming downstream.
This time, he didn't let the salmon group go. After hours of hunting, he managed to swallow about 60 to 70 salmons, getting a total of more than 5000 bio-energy point.
His bio-energy has finally met the requirements, and it's finally time for his 13th evolution.
"Begin evolution!"
Under the big tree, Fang Yun said in his mind. The hot feeling instantly emerged in his body causing his muscles tightened subconsciously.
Ten minutes later, he successfully shed his skin and evolved successfully.
Fang Yun examined his body. At the same time, he thought internally.
"I really hope that this time new skills appear."
With a little bit of nervousness and expectations, he said in his mind.
"System, expand my properties list."
However, after its shouts fell, two messages appeared on its system panel.
“The host’s 13th evolution was successful. The level is raised to 14, rewarding 13 skill points.”
"Detecting that the skill points have reached 24. New skills have been refreshed, do you want to view them?"
Seeing these two messages popping up on the system panel, Fang Yun was slightly stunned, are there finally new skills?
Filled with excitement, he said in his mind.
"Open the skill column!"
The light curtain in his mind flashed, then changed into another text. He immediately began reading it.
"Fast Regeneration: Passive skill. This skill will be automatically activated once the host gets injured, quickly regenerating the wounded part."
“Each upgrade requires 15 skill points, current level: 0/5.”
"Steel Body: Passive skill. This skill strengthens the scales and bones of the host, greatly improving the defense, and at the same time greatly increasing the host resistance against heat and cold."
"Each upgrade requires 15 skill points, current level: 0/5."
"Wind Shadow: active/passive skill. This skill passively strengthens the host's agility and speed with each upgrade. Once activated, it enhances the host speed several times. However, after the speed burst, the host will suffer from severe exhaustion."
"Each upgrade requires 15 skill points, current level: 0/5."
After reading the skills information, Fang Yun’s heart was brimming with joy, new skills finally appeared.
However, as usual, he fell into entanglement, not knowing which skill to upgrade.
He still has the skill points from the last time, but these skills are seriously expansive, he can only upgrade one for now.
He has 24 skill points now, only enough to upgrade one skill.
Among the three skills, he is leaning towards "Fast Regeneration" and "Steel Body". Ine increases his recovery ability and the other increase his defense.
Of course, he also likes the skill "Wind Shadow". a skill focusing solely on agility and speed. However, he thinks that his speed should be enough for now.
His speed should be around 60 kilometers, in the mid-upper speed of this world creatures.
Most of his prey speed and are around this level, combined with his disguise, agility, strength and physical energy that crush most of this world creatures, so he doesn't really need a higher speed right now.
More importantly, the exhaustion after activating this skill made him somewhat scrupulous.
After pondering for a while, he eventually chose "Steel Body".
After upgrading this skill, Fang Yun immediately felt some change in his body. He also noticed that the scales on his body weren't as lustrous and shiny as before, but became more rough and textured.
He also felt that his bones are changing, and to his surprise, his fangs are also changing.
This is an unexpected joy.
Quite a few pythons break their teeth while hunting, but now he doesn't have this concern anymore.
Feeling his own changes, Fang Yun was very satisfied.
After calming down, Fang Yun called the system in his mind, preparing to view the changes in his properties.
After calling the system in his mind, the familiar light panel immediately appeared in his mind.
