Chapter 55: Mysterious Creature
🕑 Added 2019-09-11 22:42:14 +0000 UTC"System, bring up my properties panel."
Fang Yun laid on the grass, near the reservoir, using the moonlight to examine his body.
His size naturally grown, but to what extent, he has to look at the properties panel to make sure.
The usual light curtain appeared in his mind.
Host property list:

Body length: 7.0m
Diameter: 20cm

Speed: 20
Agility: 22
Spirit: 23
Physical strength: 21
Skills: Fatal Venom (4/5), Quick Digestion (3/5), Skin Resistance (4/5), Discoloration Camouflage (2/5)
As he expected, his length reached 7 meters long and diameter 20 cm, even in the entire animal kingdom. He can be considered one of the biggest predators.
After this evolution, he received 10 skill points, bringing his total to 11.
After pondering for a while, he upgraded the three skills, "Fatal Venom", "Quick Digestion", and "Discoloration Camouflage"
By now, "Fatal Venom" was finally maxed, and "Quick Digestion" is only one level shy from maxing out too.
With his previous digestive ability, it takes dozens of seconds to digest a small fish, but now that it was upgraded once more, he is quite sure that he can digest it in only a few seconds.
"It's been a long time and no new skills have refreshed."
Fang Yun couldn't help but wonder, is there no new skills?
Or is it just that he hadn't fulfilled certain conditions for the new skills?
Either way, he will discover that in his next few evolutions.
Shaking his head, Fang Yun slithered back to the reservoir, leaving a trail behind him. The moonlight shined on his scales, making him quite noticeable.
If someone passes next to the reservoir at this time. It's estimated that they will be scared to death.
A giant python that is 7 meters long and whose diameter is thicker than most men thighs is slowly crawling on the ground.
When he reached the edge of the reservoir, he jumped into the water, his huge body creating a large splash.
Fang Yun swam to his cave, preparing to rest as usual. But when he entered the cave, he found that something was wrong. The cave feels much narrower than before, and the rock sticking out of the cave wall already can't hold his entire body.
He could only put his lower body underwater and his head on that rock.
This is a problem for Fang Yun, as staying in this posture is not only very uncomfortable but also disturb his sleep.
Of course, this is not a particularly big problem. He is requiring less and less sleep with each evolution. Now, he only needs a few hours of sleep to replenish his energy.
This is because of his growing spiritual energy.
He only needs 2 to 3 hours of sleep, so he can starting hunting at 5 or 6 in the morning.
However, even after thinking of a solution, Fang Yun was still hesitating about whether to leave this area or not.
He is too big now.
A little careless mistake can reveal his existence, but he is still reluctant to leave this place.
His next evolution requires an unholy amount of bio-energy. He needs 30,000 bio-energy point to undergo his next evolution. In the wild, it will be very difficult to accumulate this amount.
After pondering for a while, he decided to stay in this reservoir for a while, or at least until his next evolution.
During the day, a lot of people came to fish, even more than yesterday. Fang Yun still did the same thing as before, eating most of the fish that these people attracted with their bait.
However, he only dared to stay at the bottom of the reservoir, not even daring to swim in the middle of the water, because he was afraid that his shadow will be visible from the water surface.
However, doing so has greatly slowed his hunting speed.
More importantly, although pythons can stay underwater for a long time, in the end, they still have to breathe. If they don't swim to the surface to breathe in time, they will die of suffocation.
So occasionally, he will swim to some hidden corner and stick his head out to breathe.
Even though he had been very cautious, an accident still happened.
On the fifth day after Fang Yun evolved. After hunting for a while, he was preparing to swim to the surface to breathe. As a result, he was seen by a fisherman fishing on the side.
Of course, that fisherman didn't see Fang Yun's true appearance. He only saw a huge black shadow swimming to the surface, which scared him to loudly scream.
This scream shocked the hell out of Fang Yun, forcing him to retract his head back underwater.
Back underwater, he looked back at that fisherman in rage.
This guy actually hid in such a hidden corner to fish. He was almost exposed!
After hearing the guy shout and seeing the black shadow on that side, they all cheered and looked around, trying to find his trail.
Some people even focused solely on rowing the boat around the reservoir, just to see if they can spot him.
It's precisely because of this that Fang Yun almost suffocated. He has been forced to go swim back to his cave to breathe. After all, people looking at the water can be found almost everywhere.
Because of this accident, Fang Yun decided to leave.
But before leaving, he decided to sweep the fish in the reservoir.
The next night, he immediately started his plan. After sweeping almost the entire reservoir, he obtained 21.450 bio-energy point.
As for the reason he obtained this much bio-energy in just one night.
It's simply because Fang Yun ate almost all the fish in these two cages.
Although the cage is blocked by a metal-coated fishing net, with the current size and strength of Fang Yun, it's not that difficult to break it.
There is a lot of fish in the cage, most of them being very fat.
If it's not because a lot of fish escaped to the reservoir, he would have gathered enough energy to evolve.
Fishing in the cage and fishing in the reservoir are two completely different concepts, the former is undoubtedly much easier than the latter.
Capture back the fish that escaped the reservoir would need a lot of time and effort, which isn't worth it for him. The sky is already brightening, it's time to leave.
He crawled out of the reservoir, then went back to the river that he came from before.
............
Once the sky was completely bright, the reservoir was already full of people.
Wu Hai, the owner of the reservoir, stood on the shore. Looking at the number of people coming and going in his reservoir, a smile appeared on his face.
He was somewhat grateful to the "big fish" that he had never seen before. His reservoir has become very famous because of this fish, many people came to catch or at least see this fish.
He charges everyone 30 yuan to enter his reservoir and a 100 yuan for a place in his pavilions.
He also sells the fish caught in his reservoir for a litte higher price than the market.
In just a few days, his income has exceeded 50,000, which is a very big profit. If things continue like this, he can probably make more than 500,000 this month.
Wu Hai does not intend to capture that big fish at all, He is even deliberating whether he should put some supplements for it in the water, after all, the fish in the reservoir is a bit scarce these days.
As time passed, more and more people came to the reservoir.
However, when they came here, they didn't concentrate on fishing. Instead, they just circled around the reservoir with a boat, looking for traces of this legendary fish.
Because according to what other people are saying. That fish is very big.
Some people say that it's 1 meter long, some say it's two, some even say that it's bigger than their boat.
In short, there are many different opinions.
As more and more rumors about that fish spread, the "Big Fish" became more and more mysterious. Everyone wants to see that fish.
However, for the next five days, the reservoir is very calm, no one has seen even the shadow of that legendary fish.
Some people said that because too many people have shown up, causing the fish to hide in fear.
Some people questioned if that fish is even true.
Under constant doubt, the popularity of the reservoir was slowly dying.
However, two days later, because of one discovery. Wu Hai reservoir became very hot, even alerting the local TV station.
