It was a ramp that blocked Fang Yun way forward.
The ramp is about two meters wide, not very deep. The water is flowing forward on it.
He stuck his head out of the water and looked inside the ramp, il looks like a reservoir used for farming fish.
After deliberating for a while, Fang Yun decided to get inside the reservoir.
Swimming more than a 100 meters along the ramp, he stumbled upon a fishing net, stopping him from going forward.
Seeing this, Fang Yun directly swam to the shore, crossed the fishing net and re-entered the water.
This time, there was no longer a hindrance on his path, swimming more than 10 meters ahead. The space in front of him widened, successfully entering the reservoir.
Fang Yun decided to look at the number of fish in this reservoir. If there is enough fish here, then he would stay here for a while or even spend the whole winter here.
At this time of the season, many animals began to hibernate. Instead of entering the mountains to hunt the few animals that didn't hibernate, it's better to stay here.
Of course, that is if the number of fish here can satisfy him. If there is not enough fish here, then sorry, he won't stay here.
He wandered around in the reservoir, his heart bursting with joy, this reservoir did not disappoint him. there is a lot of fish inside, plus, he found two water tanks, in where a lot of fish is raised.
Additionally, this reservoir is also very large, just like a big lake, Fang Yun estimated that this reservoir area is at least 300 acres.
What is the concept of this area?
Just to put it into perspective, a football field has an area of about 1.32 acres. This reservoir is about the size of 227 football fields, that's indeed a big reservoir.
In addition, according to Fang Yun's measurements, the usual depth of this reservoir is 6 meters and the deepest place is about 9 meter;
In the direction upstream of this reservoir is the village he previously passed by, on the right side is a concrete dam, In both these direction, there are marble-built railings that look particularly eye-catching.
Moreover, on the two shorelines, more than a dozen pavilions were built and many beautiful trees were planted, creating a very attractive sighting place.
The left and the lower side of the reservoir are facing a hill, not a particularly high hill as it's less than a 100 meter high.
On the lower side, a water outlet was built right on that hill, water was slowly flowing out of it and merging with the reservoir.
After examining his surroundings, Fang Yun began to look for a place for him to live in, after searching around the entire reservoir, he finally found a place that was particularly satisfying to him.
That is an inconspicuous cave in the left corner near the hill.
Although it's not spacious, it's more than enough for the current Fang Yun, more importantly, this cave is only half-flooded leaving plenty of space for him to breath.
After finding his nest for the next months, Fang Yun settled in it.
Time quickly passed, and in the blink of an eye, three months passed.
It's already late winter, and the temperature has become extremely low. Fortunately, Fang Yun upgraded the skill “Skin Resistance” three times. Otherwise, he would have already frozen into a popsicle, a snake flavored one.
At this moment, he was hiding underwater, staring at a creature not far ahead.
That is a grass carp, about 30 cm or 12 inches long.
"Target locked, grass carp, herbivore, Chordata, can provide 30 bio-energy point."
Fang Yun stayed in the same place, without making the slightest noise. The grass carp slowly swam over, When it reached about half a meter away from him, Fang Yun instantly bit it.
The grass carp struggled fiercely, causing the water to flow around it.
But, how can its power compare with Fang Yun?
Fang Yun bought the carp over to his cave. At this time the carp has completely stopped moving. Putting the carp on a rock sticking of the cave wall, then climbing on the rock himself. He then swallowed the carp.
Two minutes later, he heard the system prompt, informing him that he received 30 points. This absurd speed indicated what level his digestive ability has reached.
"System, bring up my properties panel."
Fang Yun changed his body to a more comfortable position, then said to the system in his mind,
The usual light curtain appeared in front of him.
Level: 9
Bioenergy: 9420/12000
Points: 0
Body length: 4.0m
Diameter: 12cm
Strength: 30
Defense: 20
Speed: 10
Agility: 12
Spirit: 13
Physical strength: 10
Skills: Fatal Venom (4/5), Quick Digestion (3/5), Skin Resistance (3/5), Discoloration Camouflage (2/5)
In these three months, his bio-energy points have reached more than 9000, not far from the required amount for evolution.
Fang Yun thinks that he will probably complete this evolution in winter.
In fact, this speed is still very slow.
During these three months, Fang Yun was basically hunting in "Buddhist" manner, hunting only four or five fish every day.
As for the reason? It's simply because he is worried that excessively hunting will attract the attention of the reservoir owner.
Every few days, he will see an old man who is over 50 years old rowing a small boat and patrolling the water, he guessed that this old man is the owner of the reservoir.
There is a lot of fish in the reservoir. a few hundred less probably won't cause any attention.
Fang Yun does not want to have a conflict with humans, so he tries to avoid risks.
Anyway, these fishes will stay in the reservoir and will not suddenly grow legs and run away.
As Fang Yun expected, it didn't take long for his bio-energy to meet the evolution requirements, he immediately started his 9th evolution and reach the 10th level.
After his ninth evolution, his body length reached 5.5 meters and diameter 16 cm, looking particularly shocking.
According to his current body size, he can probably eat an adult man, not that he is going to ever do it.
His other properties also showed good growth.
In addition, this evolution granted him another 9 skill points, which he used to upgrade "Skin Resistance" one more time.
The value on the defense column has therefore increased to 25 points.
His scales became more lustrous and shiny, looking particularly durable.
Fang Yun can feel the enhancement of his own defense.
When he encountered the leather jacket youth in Wulong Mountain, one of his bulldogs managed to penetrate his own defense.
Now he is certain that even if let the dog bite on his scales as much as he wants, he won't be able to even scratch them.
This constant upgrade and increase in his own power made Fang Yun very excited. He will constantly become stronger and stronger until one day, he will become the king of beasts.
After this evolution, he began to plan for the future.
Fang Yun is planing to madly hunt after spring, earning a large amount of bio-energy before leaving.
But if he could get the geographic information about the world, that would be great.
The place where he wants to go to the most is something similar to the Amazon rainforest or the African savannah in his previous life
Only these type of places are the most suitable for him to live in and grow.
They have very abundant prey, and more importantly, humans rarely go there.
Time quickly passed and spring ha come, the temperature began to slowly rise. In the reservoir, Fang Yun who was sleeping in his cave suddenly opened his eyes.
It's finally time for him to shine.
