Thinking of this, Fang Yun examined the little monkey with his eyes.
However, he was still hesitating for the moment.
Monkeys are very agile, especially if they are on trees. If they discovered him, it would be a very difficult task to chase them, so he must act sneakily, ambushing them without their notice.
When he was deliberating in his mind, the system mechanical voice sounded in his mind.
"Target locked, Young black langur, mammal, primate, can provide 120 bio-energy point."
After hearing the system prompt, Fang Yun made up his mind, slowly crawling toward the small monkey.
"Next time I have enough Skill points, I must upgrade "Discoloration Camouflage" at least once."
While crawling, Fang Yun thought resentfully.
Although his body color provides a certain amount of camouflage, it's not enough now. With his current size, no matter how his color resembles the surrounding environment, he is still easily noticeable, and his hidden degree is going to get worse with each subsequent evolution, so he will eventually have to upgrade "Discoloration Camouflage"
The description of the skill "Discoloration Camouflage" is that it enables him to change his body-color according to the surrounding environment to achieve the effect of camouflage.
If he had this ability, he wouldn't have to worry about the monkey group discovering his existence.
While thinking, he didn't forget to move, slowly crawling toward the little monkey, after a while, he finally crawled under the tree the monkey was sitting on.
The little monkey is at the edge of the monkey group, holding a persimmon with both his hands.
Even while eating, its gaze didn't leave the persimmons hanging on the tree at all, seemingly deliberating which one to eat next.
No matter whether it's the little monkey or the other ones in the monkey group, they did not find the existence of Fang Yun who arrived below the fruit tree, this made him let out a sigh of relief. He wrapped his body around the trunk and slowly climbed up.
He crawled as slow as possible, in fear of attracting the monkey group attention.
However, no matter how cautious one can be, accidents always happen, when Fang Yun was less than 5 meters away from the small monkey, an adult monkey from another tree just happened to turn his head into this direction at this moment. Finding Fang Yun, the monkey's whole body hair stood up.
"Aaayy!Aaaayy"
From the mouth of this monkey, a sharp, harsh scream sounded, the scream is short but it has completely alerted all the monkey group members, all turning to the place the adult monkey is pointing to.
At this moment, the little monkey locked by Fang Yun also looked at the rear.
From its point of view, it immediately saw the three-meter-long python that was not far behind it!
"Aayy!"
Suddenly it saw such a big monster. This little monkey jumped up in fright, losing its balance and falling from the tree;
In its panic, the little monkey grabbed a branch with both hands, hanging on the tree.
Fang Yun, seeing that he was discovered. His eyes flashed, tightening his muscles, he sprang like an arrow.
Fang Yun attack speed is very fast, crossing two meters in the blink of an eye, quickly approaching the little monkey.
The little monkey was frightened, fleeing in panic, but because of excessive nervousness, it stumbled on the branches along the way, almost falling several times.
Monkeys like them basically stay on trees, even if they usually encounter snakes, but most of them are small snakes, rarely reaching 1 meter in length.
However, at this moment, the python who is pursuing him is more than 3 meters, a very rare sight in this jungle.
Looking at the little monkey running in front of him, Fang Yun is somewhat helpless, if he was even one-meter closer, he would have already bit this monkey and injected his venom.
Unfortunately, he was eventually discovered.
But it doesn't matter whether he was found or not, he is getting closer and closer to the small monkey.
Almost, almost, Fang Yun calculated the distance between them and prepared for a quick strike.
At the same time as Fang Yun was chasing the small monkey, the other monkeys in the monkey group began to scream as loudly as possible, trying to scare Fang Yun away;
Old monkeys with life experience are very confused.
They recognize that Fang Yun is a snake.
However firstly, they have never seen such a large snake, and secondly, based on their experience, snakes should have stopped hunting, they should be looking for a place to hibernate by now.
However, this weird big snake is still acting right now, which has somewhat confused them.
"It's now!"
After reaching a distance 2 meters away from the small monkey, Fang Yun eyes flashed, tightening his muscles, about to attack when suddenly, something quickly flew at him.
"Bang!"
The thing smashed right in a branch in front of him, making a heavy noise, forcing Fang Yun to stop.
"what happened?"
Fang Yun watched as the thing bounced on tree branches before falling to the ground, only now did Fang Yun see its true appearance.
A persimmon.
A fruit scared him to stop his attack.
Suddenly, Fang Yun seemed to understand what, he looked at the direction from which the fruit came. He saw that the previous adult male monkey that discovered him raised another persimmon that was not yet mature and threw it at him.
"Is it this monkey that previously threw the persimmon at me?"
While Fang Yun was still thinking, the persimmon that the monkey has thrown smashed on his body.
"Bang!"
Fang Yun’s body slightly trembled, then he couldn't help but grit his teeth.
This kind of persimmon that is not yet mature is particularly hard, even slightly harder than apples and pears.
If other snakes are attacked by this kind of fruit, their body may immediately get sore and escape, or even tumble and drop to the ground;
However, Fang Yun strengthened scales have absorbed a lot of the impact force, making this strike at most stronger than a mosquito bite, his body is still motionlessly hanging on the tree.
He angrily glared at the adult monkey who threw the persimmon at him.
Although it didn't hurt that much, this attack still made him angry.
For example, if you are bitten by a mosquito, wouldn't you want to slap it, making it regret existing?
Fang Yun has such a feeling now.
Without mentioning that it was because of this monkey that his almost successful hunt has failed.
Looking at this adult monkey, Fang Yun eyes sharpened.
This time, he changed his hunting target from the previous little monkey to big monkey.
"Target locked, Black langur, Mammal, Primate, can provide two hundred bio-energy point."
The system prompt sounded in his mind again, but Fang Yun did not care about it. At this moment, all his attention was on the big monkey not far from him.
At the same time, he quickly slithered approaching the monkey not far ahead.
Originally he did not intend to hunt the big monkeys.
However, since this monkey dares to provoke him, he doesn't mind teaching it a lesson.
Fang Yun sneered in his mind but in the next moment, his sneer quickly dissipated, stopping right in his track.
At this point, after he stopped moving, Fang Yun looked at the monkey group on the opposite side with wide eyes.
On the opposite side, standing on fruit trees, all the monkeys in the monkey group raised persimmons and other fruits in their hands
"I……"
Fang Yun wanted to swear, but before he even thought about it.
All kind of fruit flew straight at him.
"Bang!"
With a dull sound of colliding objects, Fang Yun turned back and hurriedly fled.
