On Patreon I have a few different tiers, one of those tiers involves requesting one particular movie you want me to watch. So this is R.BGames37's request: Grave of the Fireflies! Because the company of this movie is super strict, it will also be a Patreon-exclusive reaction as well!
This is... SAD. VERY SAD. But it's really well done and I really enjoyed watching it, so thank you so much for the request! NOTE: You follow along with your own copy of the movie; I have a little timer right at the beginning where it counts down and shows the word "play" when I myself start playing the movie. If you don't have your own copy, then you'll have pretty much no idea what's happening lmao

The late great Roger Ebert described Grave of the Fireflies as one of the most profoundly human films he’s ever seen that just happens to be animated. It’s a reminder that now matter how righteous a war seems to be (eliminating Nazis etc.) there is always going to be a terrible human cost.

So now I remember why I have only watched this film once before. g-d is that one hell of a trip! Wonderful reaction to the harrowing film. It's really sad and painful to watch a 13 year old just make mistake after mistake, snowballing the way it does. Also, fuck them rich folxs that just ignored them as they passed by. Eat the Rich!!! (Maybe this time literally considering the circumstance.)
