Where's My Discord!?!?
🕑 Added 2025-01-28 21:19:08 +0000 UTCWe wanted to take a moment to address the Discord (or lack there of), and what patrons can expect from a donation that grants you discord access.
The Discord server we are building is not intended to be a community forum. Instead we are using Discord to create an immersive extension of the role play that goes on in game. Think of this like having viewer access to an in-world private Discord that the characters are using to communicate. There will be insights into character relationships, threads of narrative that will feed the main story, and opportunities to influence the progression of events.
We realized that some of you were imagining a more standard Discord experience, so we wanted to let you know what we have planned and set expectations accordingly. We hope that you're excited for this experiment in interactive storytelling!
Because it's a part of the narrative, the Discord will launch closer to release of episode 1. When does episode 1 drop? We plan on making an announcement Feb 7th.

Honestly? An "immersive Discord" which add to the narrative holds so much interest for me than one I would have to participate in. I am an eternal lurker, and this just sounds like a fascinating use of the tools available to modern Actual Plays.
